I'm in trouble. One stupid bet with a teammate and my starting spot on the Wolves Football Team is on the line. I need a romance overhaul and I need it fast. There's only one woman who can help Dr. Heather Campbell. Her red curls may be wild but she's as button-down as they come. At least ... I thought so. After a few days with her, I'm not so sure I know Heather like I thought I did and my heart's telling me to get closer. She's the kind of woman I want forever. The trouble is, I'm not a forever kind of guy.Find out if the McKnight playboy can be tamed in the final installment of the McKnight Family Romance saga.
Anne-Marie Meyer is a USA Today Bestselling author who lives south of the Twin Cities in MN. She spends her days with her knight in shining armor, four princes, and a baby princess.
When she's not running after her kids, she's dreaming up romantic stories. She loves to take her favorite moments in the books and movies she loves and tries to figure out a way to make them new and fresh.
The last two books of the McKnight family. I had a feeling it was going to be about Carter and Liam.
It’s also interesting to learn that Heather ended up with Liam. I mean the book with Carter kind of gave that away. But also; I think Liam had always had a thing for Heather. He just didn’t push anything until she became his romance therapist. He got to know her.
But Heather was a bit annoying because she kept assuming things and running away most of the time. When Liam was actually showing her and not showing her he wanted her. He just had a bad way of showing her he wanted to be with her.
I was glad when they figured it out because I was over it. Plus it’s interesting to learn/read that both Liam and Jaxson are best friends. Ended up with boys and - had Heather and Lottie had babies at the same time. You look At it people going to think they are twins lol.
It would’ve been interesting to learn well no read about those two babies when they got big especially with the same birthday and look like each other.
Well, I’m sad to see the McKnights series come to an end, but I’ve enjoyed the ride. Liam and Heather’s story took place over a week, but they had a past history. Unfortunately, that brief moment in the past followed Heather as she grew and watched Liam and his playboy ways. When he gets in a hot spot because of how he is with the ladies, he hires Heather to help him. As that week passes, she sees a side of him that he keeps hidden and he realizes he doesn’t have to hide himself from her. This has an HEA and is a clean romance. The lack of intense intimate scenes doesn’t take away from the story.
Loved this story about "bad boy" Liam and his reformation. Who better to help him with his "commitment issues" and to get to the real man underneath than his "therapist" Heather. This book has a lot of fun stuff and the ending was a special surprise! My only bad comment is that it ended too soon and left me wanting more. Will definitely miss the McKnight family... Great job Anne-Marie and Lucy! Thank you for a wonderful ride!
What an awesome series, and talk about saving the best for last. I loved Liam's story. He's been a volatile, larger-than-life character since Lottie's novel (book 1), so I've looked forward to his story since I started reading this series last year. And Heather intrigued me since Mason's story.
Loved every moment, especially the beautiful bowtie at the end of the book. Perfection.
I loved reading Liam and Heather’s story. Heather’s professionalism in the face of such emotional upheavals was astounding. Liam’s ability and willingness to evaluate himself and change his behavior made him more lovable than ever. It was great that when he made up his mind, he persevered and didn’t let anything stand in his way. I love that I connected with the characters. The epilogue was amazing!
This was a sweet end to this series. It has been fun getting to know all the McKnights, but I enjoyed seeing the softer side of Liam. Heather's Liam was a really sweet guy. These two were cute together and I'm glad they got their HEA. The epilogue was funny, but seemed a little rushed. Still it was a good ending to this series.
Lovely, funny, and a beautiful story. Once again, only some kissing! Love it. This was such a good romance, told well(other then a small initial misrepresentation of the psychologist being a psychiatrist). Family is important and this was a nice finish to the series. Recommend.
I loved it. I think it's my favorite. The epilogue was so perfect. Liam was adorable and Heather was so strong and sweet and kind. A good clean novel, with delicious kisses and one liners.
It was interesting to see Liam grow from an insecure man that played the role of a chick magnet into a thought and loving man when he sought help from an old friend who was a therapist.
This is an amazing and breathtaking conclusion to an awesome series with intriguing and heartwarming characters that will steal your heart and touch your soul as they journey towards unforgettable as well as unconditional love and family.
Great ending to a great series. I wasn’t sure I was going h to like Liam. All that ego and muscle that seemed super sized. I loved his evolution. Love the epilogue too. We need a whole new generation of McKnights.
Liam and Heather's journey is full of unexpected, quirky fun. Be prepared to go with the fun of the story and not worry too much about the logistics. I loved having the whole McKnight family involved!
Being a dyslexia sufferer, I could really relate to this one. Great story of overcoming walls built for protection to allow the real Liam to shine through. Highly recommended for all readers.
I love the characters, especially the kids and the Mom! Communication, sincerity, honesty, insecurities, weaknesses … and most of all love of family and love “from” family are elements of each book in the series.
Meyer/ McConnell really know how to complete a series with lots of love and understanding of how people care for each other. They truly understand how the family dinamic works. Hard work and lots of love.
Loved this series. What a family - so much drama, but so much love. I liked how Heather brought out the real Liam allowing both of them to find a future together. Really enjoyable.
I really got a kick out of this story. I even laughed aloud a few times. I had trouble putting the book down once I started it. I enjoyed the premise of the book, the story, and the characters.
This was a fun book but it had two major grammatical errors. 1. Chapter 4 page 31: “I shook himself. “ 2. Chapter 15 page 149: “I briefly closed his eyes, knowing what was coming.” (Context usage error.) There are 4 stars instead of 3 because the laughter it gave me in the Hope Heart scene and during the Epilogue chapter. These are 2 of my favorite authors so I hope they can get the editing issue worked out.
