Refuel your passion with a new installment of the Torpedo Ink series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.

Reckless Road is the latest edition in the Torpedo Ink series by Feehan. And I will admit that I was super nervous about this book, especially considering the certain "kink" that was contained in the previous book in the series and I had no clue where this author would take thi

Gedeon “Player” Lazaroff is one of Torpedo Ink’s calmest members. Little rattles him, except when his gift of illusions gets the better of him. One night on the verge of losing it he meets Zyah, a beautiful woman who seduces him with every move and word. Now he just has to convince her to give a chance.

While this series started out pretty good, I feel with each book it gets more repetitive and lacking in story. It had some interesting ideas but j

Reckless Road continues the story of the men of Torpedo Ink. I love this series and was excited for this entry. Player hasn't been a huge focus before and I was interested in his story. His psychic talent is fascinating and Reckless Road blends every element about the club I have come to love!

There are parallel plots to Reckless road: old people are being beaten and robbed and the club has stepped in to protect a few; Player's illusions are creating a dangerous alternate reality that could

Hot and spicy plot and characters🔥

The complexity of this plot was off the charts, the intrigue alone is to die for. Wow OMG, I simply cannot believe how fierce this storyline was. This book kept me up all night. Let's talk about the raging laughter at the banter with Jackson and His wife.. I was happy to revisit these two. All in all this book rocks and it has every spices one will indulge in. 🔥💞😊👏

Much better than the previous book, which I hated. Amazon actually refunded my money!
Reckless Road is bit confusing in parts, and still too much repetition about the horrors the Ink went through. However there were actual plots, and some wonderful new characters. I'm looking at you Amat!
There was was also some delightful time spent with Hannah Drake Harrington, her husband Jonas, and the small shop and tea room, The Floating Hat, that Hannah owned in Sea Haven. (Now I guess I have to go back

An enchanting addition to this really phenom series! Player is such an unexpected character as he bucks the norm from other Torpedo Ink characters. Fun fifth installment of the Torpedo Ink Series. Character building is amazing in this book. This Contemporary Romance is refreshing read.

Each one of these books I read makes me love these guys and their women more. Player and Zyah are certainly no different. When scorching love scenes, tearful moments of shame and pain and absolute adoration from these men make each one of these books imprint on your heart.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Third time is not the charm. I have previously read 'Judgment Road' and 'Vengeance Road' of the Torpedo Ink Series, and very much like them—I am unable to find anything worth mentioning. It’s a very repetitive, drawn out story with uninteresting characters whose chemistry was non-existent and a boring plot that had me yawning more than once. It fell flat to me and because of that I was unable to connect with this novel. The only mildly interesting bit was the psychic abilit

Reckless Road is the fifth book in Torpedo Ink series and it’s a great edition to to the Torpedo storyline. The focus of the story was in the main couple and brilliantly weaved in the myriad of characters in the Caspar community.

The scene in the Floating Hat tea shop between Preacher and Sabelia was hilarious, watching these two spar had me laughing out loud.

Gedeon “Player” Lazaroff has a unique psychic gift of being able to weave illusions. Zyah Gamal has her own natural gift, a deep connecti

Reckless Road is a beautiful, and touching love story. Player and Zhay's connection was immediate. But, Player makes mistakes like his fellow Torpedo Ink brothers when they find women willing to accept them the way they are. I loved how Player went to work and immediately started making amends to Zhay. Part of Player's issue along with PTSD, is he doesn't believe he brings the same value to the team as his brothers, and sisters. Add in the secre

An enchanting addition to this really phenom series! Player is such an unexpected character as he bucks the norm from other Torpedo Ink characters. Scarred and wounded in ways that separates him from the others, he's been hiding the truth about his abilities from the others since he was five. This truth forces him to be apart from the others and their feeling safest with each other mentality. Reckless Road by Christine Feehan is the newest edition in the Torpedo Ink series and it was classic Feehan story that I love and enjoy. Gedeon “Player” Lazaroff is returning home from a job and is holding on by a thread and thinks he’s in the clear, when he finds a beautiful woman in his bedroom. Talking to Zyah soothes his mind and they really connect so they spend a beautiful night together. Player makes a mistake in dismissing her thinking she’s a dream and now will do what it takes to get h ...more

Zyah is just at the party to be a designated driver so she gets permission to use one of the vacant bedrooms to practice her belly dancing. So when Player walks in and asks her to stay and talk with him, she does. They end up doing a lot more than talking and afterward when he gives her a handful of cash and tells her to leave, she's hurt and humiliated.

Zyah is not a hooker like Player thought she was so she's more than a little disgusted with him and herself and hopes to never see him. But he k

Player and Zyah's story is tied to the energies of the earth. When barefoot, Zyah can tell when someone is lying and can learn things about another person's life. Player's psychic gift is the ability to create an alternate reality using illusion. If he holds the illusion too long, Player gets migraines and his mind fractures. It is on such a night he meets Zyah. She is practicing belly dancing in his room at the clubhouse. He opens his bedroom door, smells the Middle Eastern scents, sees the can ...more

Amazing Book

I have followed the Torpedo Ink series since the very first book came out and each and every one of them have been 5+*** reads. Reckless Road was no different. This author has always brought the men and women of Torpedo Ink MC to life and breaks my heart with what they have been through every time.

This is Player's story. As with all Torpedo Ink MC, Player has a special ability but along with that comes danger. Then one night when he was near breaking and his head ready to explode a

4.25 stars--RECKLESS ROAD is the fifth instalment in Christine Feehan’s contemporary, adult TORPEDO INK erotic, paranormal, MC romance series, a spin off from the author’s Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart series which in turn is a spin off from the Drake Sisters series. This is Gedeon ‘Player’ Lazaroff, and Zyah Gamal’s story line. RECKLESS ROAD can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Love this story and what it adds to the Torpedo Ink series.
We start off learning why Player was so quiet in previous books, come to know his psychic gifts and what happens with them when he is tired, has used them too long and migraines begin. We meet the heroine, Zyah, who has amazing psychic gifts herself. We learn she can sooth Player, distract him, and help him control his overwrought abilities and the danger they can bring to innocent people and those he cares about…a danger he has never t

When hearing all the teasers for this book about Alice in Wonderland, I was wondering how the plot was going to play out as I'm not that big of a fan of AIW. It turns out I absolutely loved the plot/story line (which shouldn't be a surprise that's why Christine's a favorite author).

With Player's (Hero) "mess up" in the beginning of the story plus his realization that Zyah (heroine) is "the one", Player was desperate to redeem himself. Thankfully he went to Hannah (from Drake sisters series) for
(4.5) Be still my heart. Player in Hannah's shop had me in swoons, tears and laughter. The interactions with all were priceless I absolutely loved our big, tortured motorcycle guys watching out for the elderly, their gentleness and protectiveness. Player has layers to him we never knew, and the guilt this man carries. Oh my. Zyah brought tranquility, strength, intelligence and love to this series. My one issue is we all know Jacksons and Deverau from her Sea Haven Series and they are no push ove ...more

This was a good addition to the Torpedo Ink series in the sense that both the hero and heroine are people of sense and their relationship does not come across as toxic as some of the HEAs in previous books in this series. Don’t get me wrong, this is still incredibly dark romance with potentially very triggering explicit child abuse content repeated multiple times. There is also explicit elder abuse content as well. So, despite this book being “lighter” and less toxic in terms of the relatio

"Right now, just looking at him, she could probably have a mini-orgasm if she let herself get close enough to smell him while she looked into his eyes."

As with all of the Torpedo Ink members, they run cold until they meet the one and then all bets are off. I can't tell you how much I enjoy seeing these broken badass bikers find their other half. If you've read the other books in the series you know the backstory, if not, buckle your seat belt. They are fierce and loyal as well as dangerou

Where to start with this one? First, I DNF’d this book. It was...weird. If I’m being honest, I think I would have enjoyed it if I smoked a joint or had some shrooms before reading it. It was that kind of weird. The whole white rabbit running around and other Alice in Wonderland references made me roll my eyes more than once. The heroine, Zyah, could connect with people’s thoughts when she t
There are time that in this series the guys come off as not good and while it started out that way for Player, he quickly remedied that for Zyah. I really liked that Player came clean with his actions to the club and his brothers and sisters and wanted them all to help him find Zyah and get into her good graces.

Things were rocky at the start, but then with Zyah having to take care of Player it helped, she saw him when he was vulnerable and could see a different side of him and how far he went t

I picked the first book up in a bookstore because I wanted to read something I don’t usually go for, and a book about a biker club certainly fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised with the fantasy element in this series too. It isn’t too central that it changes the genre of the novel, and the use of the powers is subtle so it’s a nice addition to the storyline. This book stands out for me from the others, as Player’s ‘gift’ is so unusual. It was quite cool imagery (obviously not for him) to im ...more

"Came in begging us to look at the security tape after the part. Wanted to see if his dream girl was real."

This was unfortunately disappointing.
I love the series so much and I guess I created such high expectations each time and I got disappointed this time.

Why I found this unlikable compared to the others, I find the plotline very slow and dull.
It felt like there wasn't much going on. Half of the book we were in Zyah's room and the thing going on in Player's head made up like 10% of the ending

Being a huge fan of this series, I was excited to learn more about Player as a character. Each of the men in this series are truly gone for their woman, so I was curious what kind of woman could handle him and his visions.

Zyah as a character was lovely. I enjoyed her strength and independence starting out. She was successful in her own right, but was ready to live a simpler life. So when she meets Player at a party, she is dancing to calm herself in his bedroom. He mistakes her for a dream, bec

Zyah and Player are perfect. From the first moment they met they were completely in sync.
I loved that CF brought in characters from previous series. Made it all come together as one. I wasn't sure if I'd like the Alice in Wonderland feel but I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait for the next one.
I wish somebody could explain to me why I keep reading this series. It's so bad. Maybe so bad it's good? Not really, but I'll go with that for lack of another explanation. It's definitely different, definitely for readers who like dark romance - no meet cutes here, and definitely crazy plot point on top of crazy plot point. You'll need to read the prior books. Book 1 is technically the last book in Feehan's Sisters of the Heart series instead of Torpedo Ink #1. If I'm being fair, though, this on ...more
