Goliath has always put the Federation and his family and crew first. He has to find out who killed his father and why it’s the only long-term goal he has for his future. When a chance encounter brings him face to face with what could be a future he never imagined or desired, Goliath must decide if revenge outweighs the possibility of destiny.
Camara defected from the G-Force Federation and his clan for refusing to agree with their rules. He seeks out a new path for himself and his small crew of bounty hunters, capturing criminals all over the galaxy. They live freely by their own laws, not caring about finding a mate. However, one encounter with an admiral in the Gargoyle Federation changes everything.
Will Camara and Goliath resist the pull to each other? Or will they let their misgivings about mating hold them back from experiencing unconditional love? Because there’s no hierarchy with love.
Goliath’s Mate is part of the multi-author G-Force Federation MPREG, sci-fi series. Each book in the series can be read in any order or as a standalone. Join the G-Force Federation gargoyle warriors as they embark on their mission to protect and serve the Federation and possibly find their fated mates. This book is for a mature audience only.
It might have been a slow burn. The relationship building was top tier. Yes the 5 star rate ment I cried a little bit. But why is this book listed as book one for g force federation on audible and book 3 at the same time. Guess I'll just grab the ebook to explore this question.
Independent reviewer for Gay Romance reviews, I was gifted my copy of this book.
I have a soft spot for gargoyles, and didn't read much of the blurb once I knew that this series contained gargoyles. So I had to go back and actually READ the blurb at some point to give me a clue. But hey, it works for me ;-)
Goliath is a admiral in the G-Force Federation. Camara is a bounty hunter. When they cross paths, sparks fly. When they discover they have a common mission, and a history, and that they actually DO like each other, can they keep things together when Camara is betrayed in the owrst possible way?
I liked this, I liked this a LOT.
It flows well, with many levels of plots and subplots keeping you on your toes! I had to double back a couple of times, cos I was sure I had missed something, when really, I didn't MISS anything; it was just wasn't mentioned before then! Love being kept hanging! Lots of plot twists!
Both Goliath and Camara have a say. Both voices are clear and different, and I would love to hear this in audio at some point.
It's sexy in places, and emotional in others. Some violence, but dealing with the resistence who have their hands on a method of mass destruction ain't never gonna be a picnic, now, is it?
I loved how both men, confident in who they are on the outside, come with inner baggage. Both of them carry internal scars from their childhood, although Camara's is deeper.
Gotta love a big bad alpha gargoyle with a soft spot for lace, eh? (That's not to say that is baggage, though!)
This is a multi author series, so lots of different authors writing within a common theme. Reaves is a new-to-me author. I love finding new-to-me authors! Reaves is now quite happily on my radar!
I really REALLY enjoyed this, so will be doing two things: 1) reading more of Ms Reaves and 2) hoping to read more of these gargoyles in space as they find their mates!
Goliath's Mate is part of the multi-author G-Force Federation series. I really enjoyed this book from the very beginning, it's sci-fi, shifters, fated mates, and mpreg all rolled into one. Camara, an omega, left his clan to find his own way as a bounty hunter only to find his mate. Goliath, an alpha, has his own task at finding out what really happened to his father, only fate has other ideas when a chance encounter puts him in the path of his mate. This book is full of action, adventure, and twists of betrayal I didn't see coming. Camara and Goliath fit so well together. I'm glad they figured things out. I recommend this book. Narrator Silas Whitaker is a new to me narrator and did a marvelous job. He was a joy to listen to and really brought to characters to life. He made the story entertaining, and I didn't want the book to end. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook.
Oh my God wow. This book was packed with action, suspense and lots of emotion. It was a very complex writing that kept you on edge almost all the time. I really loved the development between characters and all the history and intricacies that contour them. It's about acceptance, forgiveness, betrayal so much more that makes you incapable to let it down until the end. It will make you laugh and cry and I really loved the hints you made at the end about some possible development between some characters that deserves to be happy. I really wish to read a sequel to this adventure probably following the baby future and the HEA of some more of the characters. Thank you for this beautiful story and I can't wait to read your next story.
Alphas are always written as the "strong" character of any pairing but in this story Camara is a very strong "omega" who's always fought his gargoyle clan's traditional omega classification. You see Camara is very independent and being so strikes out on his own as a bounty hunter along with a group of like-minded betas and other omegas. His meeting with Goliath begins as a match of wits, each unwilling to accept and fight their mating attraction, and ends with a unique birth. Along the way political mysteries are resolved, deceptions are dealt with, familial antagonism is faced, and humorous side characters are add a needed lightness. This review is totally given on a voluntary basis for the ARC I received.
Goliath and Camara are just so great together. Watching them try to resist each other is amusing and makes you root for them to get over what's holding them back. There are a few twists and turns, some that you see coming and others that you do not, that keep you on the edge of your seat. The way that Goliath and Camara respond to each other's needs is really amazing. I love the way that this book is written and the side characters are great as well. I laughed, cried, smiled, and just had all the feels while I was reading this book. I highly recommend this book.
It started off kinda cheesy...wasn't sure if I was gonna like it and continue on but....the story got good...so many twists and turns plus the hot as fire chemistry between Goliath and his omega mate Camara. I will say the author had me guessing until the very end and I totally enjoyed it. The narrator did wonderful with the voices which made me love it more. So bummed I came in on book 3...hopefully there will be more because this alternate world is totally exciting and I'm all in!
Goliath and Camara were both stubborn, believing they weren’t ready for mates. Their mate bond developed slowly; it was insta lust but love eventually blossomed. The intensity of their attraction was captured perfectly; it was all consuming, passionate and hot.
This was a great read and I really enjoyed it.
*I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else's*
This was such a good book! It had me hooked from the very beginning. I needed to know exactly who the very first mystery person was, and refused to put it down until I found out. As for Goliath and Camara, they were making me mad for while, but they finally got their selves together. I'm really hoping the next book is Allack's, I'm already invested in seeing how his love life pans out!
*** I recieved an ARC, this is my honest review ***
This book was excellent, from the world building to the characters... I'm a sci-fi junkie and this book filled that craving, I was ensnared by the world's and the ship's the author created along with the storyline. The characters dragged you into their work and relationships. This is a series that is created by multiple authors, and I can't wait to check out their stories, but I hope This author revisits, this series and characters
Right at the first page I couldn't stop reading. I love Camara and Goliath! They are amazing together. I love the action and adventure. Giovanna Reaves just pulled me right into this story. Definitely another amazing addition to this multi author world.
A LOT happened in this book. Lots of characters. Lots of space federation intrigue. Interesting gargoyle culture. Strong MCs. Really good plot. Unfortunately, I needed more romance.
This was so good Iam so enjoying this series. The storyline was amazing full of action and adventure. The characters are amazing loved Camara and him and Goliath are sooo good together. The narration was great. Can’t wait for more of this series.
sweet and interesting story... good characters.. wonderful writing and a fun storyline.. i enjoyed this so much and i cannot wait for more of this series.
You know when you taste something new for the first time and you're not quite sure that you like it so you take several spoonful of it but you're still not sure every time you taste it? Well this was me with this book! The book was globally fine but the crossover between a fated-mated-omegaverse-shifter romance and a intergalatic-alliance-spaceship-force-with-a-mass-destruction-weapon science fiction plot was SO WEIRD to me. It totally throw me off.
