There’s nothing quite like his thrust of power. Once you feel it inside you, you’ll never be the same. It creates a whitehot passion. One that I crave. His strong body. His willful mind. His unbreakable spirit. Just thinking of him makes me melt.
It wasn’t always this way. This man once made me seethe with hatred. He was my enemy. Now he makes me burn with desire. Because he became my lover.
But this is a love that comes with a price. There’s only so deep you can dive before you’re lost forever. I should escape before it’s too late.

Pandora’s Pleasure is a stand alone romance by Vanessa Fewings.
Pandora Aria Bard is twenty years old. She was raised with one purpose, to be perfect! The perfect lady, the perfect wife for the man chosen for her, the man whose power can best suit her parents. And that choice has been made, Damien. In reality, Pandora was highly intelligent and had aspirations of her own. But to those around her, her wishes or dreams made no difference, she was a commodity.
“Pandora was the equivalent of the Hope Diamond, the most expensive jewel in the world, but other than its legendary beauty, quite useless.”
Damien Godman, thirty two years old, oldest son of Gregor Godman, presidential candidate. Damien truly believed that his father would make the world a better place. And he would do anything to help him win the election. Including marrying the woman chosen for him, the woman he barely knew and didn’t even like. The woman he was sure despised him.
“I’d always been destined to be a trophy, but with him I’d believed I could be more.”
“She’d been bred and molded to be perfect. She’d been created for me and that was our curse to bear.”
Pandora has barely had a chance to experience the world as an adult. As she and Damien slowly get acquainted, their relationship is kind of a lust/hate relationship. Both dislike the fact that their engagement is forced. Especially Pandora who has dreams of her own. They also begin to discover more about each other’s sexual preferences. Damien is a man who takes control both in life, and in the bedroom. But in the bedroom, he takes total control. Pandora begins to realize that this is what she needs, that she wants to please, to submit.
“Following orders was a blissful way of surrendering, giving over all my power and relinquishing all guilt.”
There were so many things at play here. Gregor Godman would do anything to win the election, including manipulate his son. Both Damien and Pandora were really pawns in both of their families. It was sad really, the sacrifices both of them made for their families. Once they were able to remove themselves from that environment, though, they discovered how wrong they were about each other. They were finally able to see the kind of people each other was. And with that knowledge, love began to grow.
“We found it. Damien, we found paradise.” “I suppose we did.” Or maybe paradise was wherever Pandora was.
This book was quite a wild ride. I have to admit I struggled a bit in the beginning. I almost couldn’t handle that way Pandora was treated, as a possession, a commodity. She had so much to offer, so much to give. She was smart, loyal, and honest. But no one saw her, at first. As things progressed, though, as Damien finally began to see her as she really was, I also began to accept him as well. This is a crazy, super sexy, and suspenseful story that I won’t soon forget. I find I’m also quite intrigued with Damien’s best friend, Theo. And maybe with a female character that comes into this later on in the book. I wonder if we might ever see them again? Fingers are crossed.
“This woman was my compass and without her I was lost.”
Damien Godman is the eldest son of a banking tycoon. He's the epitome of an alpha male. Dominant, intimidating, suave, and sex on a stick. Damien is a good son and will do anything for his family. And he has a rude way of showing how to protect the woman that was meant to be his wife.
Pandora Bardot is American royalty. Studied abroad at an elite school in Switzerland. She's smart, stunning, fierce, and sensual. When she met Damien months ago, the attraction was undeniably obvious for both of them, she actually thought there could be something between them. But she's in for a rude awakening. But more than anything she has to prove to everyone that she's more than just a pretty face.
Bound by an obligation to be together. Damien and Pandora try to be a perfect couple in front of people. But they just can't stand one another, Damien being a dominant Pandora felt like a bird in a gilded cage. She has to know what makes Damian tick. As the story progress, something is about to change between them.
Pandora's Pleasure was a page-turner for me. It has a great storyline with desire, passion, intrigue, and suspense. The characters and the plot are well-written. Damien can be stubborn at times but he's really a swoon-worthy hero. Pandora may appear to be weak but don't be fooled by it, she got brains and deserves everyone's respect and admiration. When it comes to the steamy scene Damien & Pandora will keep you hot and bothered. Time well spent reading this story.
Vanessa Fewings wrote an amazing story that captivates me right from the start. I like the writing style of this one. I absolutely enjoyed this book. If you decide to get this book, stick with it, I promise you, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend erotic romance!

5+ Stars! ... my favorite book of 2020!
The Review: Pandora’s Pleasure is hands down, my favorite book of 2020! Full of intrigue. Captivating characters. Erotic scenes. Brilliant writing. Duel POV’s. And an addicting story.
I absolutely LOVED this read.
Story/Characters... Pandora Bardot was reared since birth to be the perfect status symbol to represent her family’s illustrious royal lineage. Molded by the finest eduction, taught the highest social graces and etiquette with unparalleled personal representation, her future was never her choice. That became obvious when she was paired with Damien Godman, eldest son to the nation’s most affluent banking tycoon. She’s beautiful, sensual, educated, and full of hope. He’s gorgeous, dark, mysterious, jaded, and cold.
Their attraction was indisputable, but it was supposed to be a marriage of convenience, both settling into a life planned out for them as their families ascend in power...
... true love and an erotic awakening were never supposed to be part of “the plan”.
Thoughts... Ahhh, I just fell so deeply in love with Pandora and Damien.
When introduced, Pandora is very innocent in the ways of the world. She’s sweetly naive, being packed away her whole life in a gilded cage of privilege and innocence. Yet she is open-minded, ready to explore new and adventurous things. Under Damien’s dominance and tutelage, she experiences true awakening and freedom. When she emerged from her protected cacoon, she did so splendidly, becoming fiercely brave, strong and a real heroine of the story. Pandora shined so brightly. She is definitely in my top five beloved female characters. She really had me falling quite in love with her.
Damien was so mysterious. Even with us getting his POV, I found him to be mystifying and a bit devious. He was privileged as well, but he’s seen and experienced the lows of life and acquired real-world experience. Hiding his debauchery behind a high-class facade, he yearns for a partner to share that side of himself with. Thinking he had to accept a life devoid of those pleasures, and sure Pandora is nothing but a spoiled debutante, he’s as surprised as she is to find commonality. I found it fascinating to watch Damien’s shift as he realized the precious and rare gifts lying underneath Pandora’s own facade. I loved him so much!
The Wrap Up: This was an extraordinary story with supremely superb writing. Vanessa Fewings wordsmithing always inspires, but this book was filled with beautifully written prose and steamy scenes. The characters are sophisticated, sexy, and full of dark charm. She has a way of writing wonderfully rounded characters that still maintain their mystery and aloofness, which ALWAYS has me yearning to know more about them. Damien and Pandora are absolutely on that list. We got a romantic, sensually charged, completed story, and yet I still wanted to know more, more, more!

It has taken me a bit to get to write this review. I want to say the right words to convince you to try this novel but not give any of the story away. It will grip you and surprise you.
If you love enemies-to-lovers with games and intrigue thrown along for the ride, you do not want to miss this steamy contemporary romance.
What I loved about it: - Pandora is an unexpected heroine. You may have a sense of her from the beginning. But trust me, she is the most unsuspecting badass in all her own ways. - You are going to hate Damien. Yup, I did. And he turned he a$$ around and got with the program. Because he like us, underestimated Pandora. - It's not just the super sexy scenes. The MC's finding more than just convenience. It's thrilling and twisted turns.
What to consider: - I read a few reviews and hesitated on putting the words "political intrigue" in the review just based on current events. Don't shy away. I am 'election' weary and Ms. Fewings wove a gripping story that had me turning the pages. It's all about power.
This was unexpected in the best of ways. The perfect escape for this reader. You don't want to miss this book!!
Vanessa Fewings took me to a fascinating, beyond captivating and darkly sensual journey in Pandora's Pleasure. It balances erotic romance and romantic suspense with edge of political power plays so brilliantly. Sinful. Explosive. Adrenaline filled. A breathtaking experience.
Pandora Bardot has been raised and trained to be the perfect upper society girl but she wants to be something more. Her fate has been sealed by her oil tycoon father who has decided for an arranged marriage with another rich and powerful family. Damien Godman is the eldest and he is not exactly a welcoming personality. Pandora's feelings are getting killed in middle of their familys' political ambitions. And Damien is showing her the terrifying and scintillating world of dominance and submission.
This kind of romance is Vanessa Fewings' strong hold and she just excelled at this story. This has an enemies to lovers vibe with complex BDSM dynamics. And I loved that tension, that drama and that angst. Pandora may be used like a pawn but this woman has a fire inside her. She is brave, kind, not afraid to explore and has the combination of beauty and brain. She proved she is so much more than an arm candy. She closed the box of secrets, lies, deceits and scandals threatening her loved ones with her wit and willpower. She is the true queen to Damien Godman. Because a man like Damien needs one. They have an intimate connection and my heart just melted for it. It was a riot of emotions and my heart is a mess.
Oh where can I start about Damien? Bossy. Dominating. Controlling. Protective. Infuriating. Gorgeous. Powerful. Regal. Owner of a sharp mind, sharper tongue and dark heart with good intentions. He is torn between his duty to his family and the confusing feelings he is developing for Pandora. He wants complete submission and control over her pleasure. He also wants her as his soulmate. This dynamics was on fire! Pandora pushing him for own independence and feistiness. Damien pushing her for power games. Yet both of them pulling harder and harder till they became one. This is one of the hottest books I have ever read. It was dirty, filthy, depraved, unashamed and animalistic debauchery. I am still blushing and feeling hot all over thinking about some scenes. This heat was accompanied by some swooniest and angstiest emotions. The story kept me at the edge of my seat.
Pandora's Pleasure by Vanessa Fewings was an all consuming and sensational erotic romance with suspenseful political power plays. It was a complete treat for my romance loving heart. The mesmerising writing of Vanessa Fewings gave life to some incredible characters and intense emotions.
Pandora's Pleasure is an intoxicating mix of political intrigue, erotic romance and suspense. In this standalone romance Vanessa Fewings brings together two unlikely and yet destined characters. Pandora is a seemingly innocent and sheltered debutante, raised for the express purpose of being a pawn in her family's quest for power. Damian is a less pedigreed newly minted scion of potentially the highest echelons of power. These two are caught in quite the power struggle both within their relationship and outside forces. I loved Pandora despite her earnest naivete and somewhat questionable decision making. She was so refreshingly single-minded in her pursuit once she figured out her true desires. Damian, by design, was not as easy to like. This is a complicated man whose loyalty to his family is second to none. The story is rife with angst and emotional depth, underhanded political machinations and, of course so much steam.
Riveted from page one...an absolute must read for fans of the anti-hero.
Fewings delivers a sexy intro to the BDSM lifestyle, while weaving in personal growth, a fast-paced, intriguing plot, and characters who get under your skin.
Pandora’s Pleasure delivers both the sensual side you crave and an angst-filled, suspenseful plot that leaves you hanging on every word till the very last page.
I guarantee our recent Presidential election wasn’t as intriguing or interesting as the latest book by Vanessa Fewings. Pandora’s Pleasure is a story about an up coming election and the family that is running for office. The story is centered around the candidate’s son and American royalty and their union to bring victory to their political party. As with any good election there is scandal and blackmail. With Pandora’s Pleasure though there is an arranged marriage and BDSM and secret clubs. All the things that make a story good and juicy. I loved this book and read it in one sitting. Pandora was thought only to be the trophy, the “pretty little thing” to be seen and not heard. Well, looks can be deceiving and this kicka*& character showed that. 5-stars for Pandora’s Pleasure.
In the intriguing world of politics, you never know who is truly your friend and who is your enemy. Even someone you are engaged to can secretly be out to get you. Pandora Bardot has been raised and groomed as an American princess. She is royalty in the eyes of the nation and her family expects great things from her, even if that is just to stand by idly and look pretty. Damien Godman is the Senator’s son, and his father is running for President so everything they do is in the spotlight. Damien has certain proclivities that he knows would shock the virginal Pandora. Pandora fell in love with Damien on their first meeting and upon learning that their marriage is just a political strategy she is determined to make him love her or to escape being used as a pawn. What happens to Pandora’s Pleasure rests solely in the hands of Damien Godman and he knows it.
Arranged marriage, dirty politics, strong dominant alpha and a sweet young woman on the verge of sexual awakening? Oh hell yeah! This was a very steamy read with burning hot chemistry between the main characters. Vanessa brings the story to the edge with many interesting elements for sure. I've absolutely loved the storyline, the way everything unfolded and came together in an epic climax - just brilliant! The relationship between Pandora and Damien was certainly daring and playful in an adult way. While Pandora is a very hopeful character, maybe a bit naive but definitely fierce and determined, Damien has been shaped by life circumstances. It is a great contrast, especially in the steamier moments.
If you like your reads spicy, give this one a try!
Pandora was raised and polished to be a jewel on a man's crown. Not just any man, but a man worthy of her. It didn't really matter how smart she was, how many languages she spoke. That was all inconsequential. She was just expected to always look beautiful and shine as an accessory. When she first met Damien, she was not pleased at all to find out he was her fiance. He was cold and intimidating. His father was nouveau riche and merging with her old money lineage gave them more clout, as he was running for president.
But as the months go on, Pandora begins to feel things for Damien, things she has never before experienced. With a little help from an unexpected source, a whole new world is opened up before Pandora, only to be threatened to be taken away before she has barely gotten her feet wet. The feelings she is developing for Damien are growing more and more stronger and they are being attacked from all sides.
I loved these two. In the beginning, I wasn't crazy about Damien, but as he began to fall for Pandora, I began to warm up to him. He was so sweet and gentle with her.
I love everything Vanessa writes and this was another winner right here! I would gladly slap on a few more stars if I could!
What an amazing story, it had everything - an arranged marriage, political intrigue, blackmail, kink and a beautiful love story. I have to admit I thought Damien was a jerk for much of the book, but he came through in the end and was definitely swoon worthy. Pandora had so many layers and not only was she really smart she was somewhat devious as well and showed all her critics, including Damien, just how politically savvy and strong she was. Madeline, Theo and Phoebe were interesting characters as well and added so much to the story, it would be interesting to know what happened to these characters given the pivotal role they played to the plot.
I read this book in one sitting as I had to find out what happened and my eyes could not read fast enough, and yet when I was finished I was sad that it was over, it was that good. I will have to re-read it to fully savour it, it was a great story.
I'm a huge fan of Fewings and Pandora's Pleasure is right on track with the elegant erotica she's known for.
PP had this elaborate push/pull, will they/won’t they vibe. Enemies to lovers. Arranged marriage. Age gap. Political prowess. Secrets from every angle. That enemies to lovers created a chemistry that was rife with tension. It keeps you engaged from start to finish.
I really loved how smart and strong Pandora was. And how Damien was dominant, yet had these soft, vulnerable moments that had you falling for him.
Because of the secrets of the political games being played, there was mystery and intrigue at every turn..
And of course it was sexy as hell. Fewings knows how to turn up the heat.
Raised to be the "perfect" pawn in other people's games and ambitions, Pandora is a beautiful woman whose worth as an individual is yet to be recognised or valued. Damien Goodman has all the qualities of the alpha male, yet there are so many areas of his life over which he has no control, and in which he is similarly a piece on someone else's chess board. This is a relationship which takes time, which is another piece of artful, heartless manipulation, whose future is uncertain. I loved it! I particularly loved Pandora quest to find her courage, her own place, her own destiny. Damien, similarly, needs to break free and find himself, though he is much slower to realise this! This is such a good read. It is hot, well written and a complete page turner! Fabulous! 💖💖💖💖💖
Pandora's Pleasure is an enemies to lovers story with an age gap, arranged marriage and a little BDSM to boot! Pandora and Damien have chemistry that is off the charts! Pandora is very beautiful, classy, smart and strong but also a little bit devious. She was raised to be the perfect society wife, but she is so much more than anyone realizes. Damien is a very good looking, secretive, stone cold alpha who will stop at nothing to protect his family and do what is expected of him. Political intrigue, duel point of views, suspense and passion. A great book! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This story kept me turning pages. Pandora was quite willing to try new things, and she found herself and what made her happier so that she could deal with all the stress of her family. Damien was quite a jerk at times, though all was explained as the story began to unfold. His feelings for Pandora were strong, whether he liked it or not. As he worked toward the things that were important to him, despite his father's wishes, he realized what was really important. I recommend this story but with a bit of a warning. There are scenes of BDSM and may be a trigger for some.
I received a copy of this story through Enticing Journey Book Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
Their families were political allies resulting in a marriage arrangement between Damien and Pandora. Then her family fell from grace and now, although engaged, these two despise each other. Hence they’re enemies trapped by political strategists to dance to the tune of the power brokers. Then Pandora strengthens her will including a lot of sizzle and steam in the storyline. I recommend you read this story to witness the strength of character Pandora develops as she tries to challenge destiny.
Pandora’s Pleasure was itself a pleasure to read. Vanessa Fewings really knows how to write layered characters that one can find both like able and unlikeable. Pandora’s Pleasure is a book containing an enemies to lovers trope that includes arranged marriage. With both politics and sex sprinkled into the mix, Fewings has written a spectacularly intriguing novel.
Damien is a jerk. Pandora is smart and devious. The book is about arranged marriage, political intrigue, blackmail. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Vanessa Fewings is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.
This beautifully written seductive story captivated me from the get go! Two people who were unlikely to be together yet it was meant to be. Power struggles, complicated yet titillating dynamics, suspense and romance. An addicting story filled with angst and intrigue that took my breath away!

question: why do authors use enemies to lovers trope to market their books when the actual story lacks it like how come these authors do not know the meaning of enemies to lovers trope? can they please get with the program? PSA: making your characters hate each other just because one didn't like the flavor of ice cream the other suggested and then bullying that character throughout the series is NOT YOUR TOP TIER ENEMIES TO LOVERS TROPE OKAY. PUT SOME RESPECT ON MY FAVORITE TROPE'S NAME. thank you. (by the way, that ice cream part was just an example and totally unrelated to this book. though not exactly because there is an ice cream scene so..)
anyways, i'm sitting here on my bed with multiple tabs open in my brain and trying to process what I just read because honestly, i'm so confused. this book is no way THAT complex or chaotic, but it's just that it felt like this should have been a book two of a trilogy. because there is no way that this is everything Vanessa Fewings meant to write as book one. my mind is just not ready to accept the fact that there isn't any prequel or an actual book one out there because the way the plot was written and its pace— it just did not feel like a introductory book one, i felt so out of loop even though this is the first book of the series which means i'm supposed to learn everything in this book right? but, almost throughout the story i was questioning myself if i missed something.
I liked damien and pandora just fine, I knew what I was getting into with these characters because i have read another series before by Vanessa Fewings so i had some idea of how she does the lovestory between her characters. however, damien and pandora's lovestory was majorly lacking something, i don't know exactly what like there wasn't any connection or depth, and it wasn't what i had expected. and, i think it's actually because of how the story itself lacked development and proper introduction which reflected on damien and pandora's romance too. also, especially the use of enemies to lovers trope was basically just for the sake of having tropes because it was practically non - existent here. lowkey was looking forward to this one, but now i have mixed feelings towards it, mostly disappointed.
I was gifted this ARC for an honest review and the Pleasure is all ours when we meet Pandora!! She was born into wealth, bred into high-society. She is a young, sophisticated Lady, and has been arranged by her family to marry Damien; the Son of the Senator, who wants her strictly by his side as his trophy-wife!! Does Pandora have the strength to navigate her way through the Power of the Political world? A Family scandal, and her demanding, ego-statistical Fiance who she has been preparing to wed her whole life?? As she soon discovers things aren't what she imagined with Damien, he infuriates her and makes her burn for more of his pleasure at the same time!! Pandora is intrigued by him, but is their marriage just a ruse for the press? When her Father's past comes to light during Senator Godman's campaign election, Will Damien stand by her side? Or will his own political career be more important to him?? Thrust into the spotlight, Pandora is clearly underestimated from the beginning. She yearns for her own independence and passion, and wants to be more then what society "expects" of her...With her family name and reputation on the line, Pandora may prove to hold the key to everything! Pandora is about to show everyone how powerful of a woman she can really be...
Pandora finds herself in a situation she really doesn’t want any part of. Damien is a very strong willed man – his word is law. It seems to be a family trait but can Pandora shake things up a little bit? On first meeting her though I thought she would be a young woman who would always seem to be standing on the outside looking in and only participating when necessary.
Please learn from me. Never try to out-guess what the author has written. Let her story unfold in its own time. This means no speed reading because you might miss something. Especially when it comes to the slow simmering heat that increases in size as the story goes on. You have to wonder if our couple will implode from family issues or if they will combust as the heat increases.
If you’ve not read this author before then you need to know that she knows how to create men that have bada** down to a T. She does a good job with the women characters as well because she has you thinking one thing and then surprises you when you finally figure out that the women can more than hold their own. I was actually disappointed when it was over. But then I also kept wishing that I get the ending I’m looking for. And for that I was not disappointed one bit. Be warned though, this is not for those that like vanilla since there’s a lot of spice here.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Welcome to the enthralling world of Pandora and Damien, where suspense, intrigue and drama will be your guide to this marvelous journey. Pandora has been raised for one thing only, to be somebody's arm candy and bethrothen to Damien Goodman, son of the next presidential candidate. This story will bring in the forefront intriguing world of politics and the behind the curtain things it curtail. Pandora falls in love with Damien at first sight but this is a marriage of convenience and she will need to do everything in her power to escape from this game and not be a pawn. Damien holds every card in his hands and Pandora's pleasure is on the forefront of it. This is by far the best book I have read in 2020 and I honestly volunteered to review this story.
