May 1, 2020I love a story that has a kiss ass female and Double the Mayhem definitely has one.
I really really liked Maveryck. I feel completely in love with him.
This book made me cry so many times it was unreal. And they weren't all sad tears either. A rollercoaster ride of emotions with this book.
There is only one element I do not like about this book. I believe we learned about it in the first book. I'm not sure. If not do not read below this.

I don't like the fact that if you mate with them and you are a human, you do not get to get their longevity wiehn they mate you. Other than that I loved it.
I hope you enjoy it has much as I did.

An exciting and driven addition
Natalia, assassin for her Russian mafia family, and Maveryck, mercenary and Hound of Zeus, keep unknowingly crossing paths. As the story progresses an intriguing group of near misses draws them together, their own self doubts drive them apart, and uniting against a common enemy may be the glue that seals all their cracks. Faith Gibson’s Double the Mayhem is an exciting and driven addition to her Hounds of Zeus series. She really rounds out the Gryphon world in this one and leaves me eagerly awaiting more.

Fabulous!!
This author is fantastic!!! I love the Stone Society books and now this series about Gryphons is just as wonderful. The characters have so much strength and heart that you can help but fall in love with them. The action and excitement of the story keeps me reading nonstop.
Maveryck and Natalia make a great couple. The surprise of Major and Marshall are wonderfully cute. I won't spoil things by telling you about them. But I just know that they will grab hold of your heart too.

Age
The story line is good and I was really enjoying it until it said the one grows old and dies and leaves behind their love. To me that made the book pretty depressing. In the book it said that was a beautiful thing that they could live another 200 years after the death of their mate. That’s not beautiful just flipping sad.

What a fabulous second book. I love this series so far. It’s one of my favorites so far. Stone Society is one of my all time favorites. I’ve read them more then once. Mayhem is a fantastic character and love the twin characters. One of my favorite authors and 💕 her books.

What a ride!
I really liked Mayhem’s story, it was fun, exciting and intriguing! I loved Tatiana/Natalia’s nickname it’s so cute! I enjoy the family closeness and how they freely show their love for one another!

Double The Mayhem
Well this was unexpected. I knew someone close was trying to take them out but I didn't expect someone this close. I loved how much Mav and Natalie meshed. His kids are freaking adorable and the highlight of the book for me.

It’s an MC story! W shifters! Gryphons! Who knew? I love it! Great story. Life is difficult, difficult sometimes, and then you smell the most delightful scent, walking by a female… Fun series, drama going on, strong kicka$$ women. Yes! 😍

Good paranormal read
Very pleasant and interesting take on a paranormal mc and assassin service. Link that with the mafia and it increases the interest. Wouk do have liked a bit more information about digger and Cassandra however it was a good read.

exciting!!!
I followed the Stone Society series and this series has not disappoint!
I liked how it prequel with part of the end scene and then we got to understand what lead up to that point. Good job FG.

I Loved this Book!
Ms. Gibson has never disappointed me and that includes this one. How much cuteness can one person handle in one book?
Maverick (Mayhem) is a member of the Hounds. His twin War is settling in dry nicely with Kerrigan. While out on a job he gets shot at while leaving the scene. Then he’s almost shot again while on another job. But this time he encounters a woman briefly that smells familiar. He is still trying to figure out why his girlfriend left him but not enough to go looking for her. He finds out he has 4 year old absolutely adorable twins.
Natasha/Tatiana is the woman who shot at him while he was leaving the scene of his first job. She is also the woman he passed on the street with the familiar scent. She was trained to be a killer by her father, the head of the Russian Mob. Her life has been difficult in that she was not allowed to do anything other than train to be the best killer she could. She learned to fight using all types of weapons and methods just so she could stay alive. Her sole goal in life was to protect her father. He’s dead and she’s thrown out of the house.
While having an ordinary day she runs into all this cuteness. Because she has purple hair Marshall tells her she looks like a lollipop. He calls her Lolly. Eventually Maverick and Natasha figure out there is something going on bigger than just ordinary hits.
I love how this story took its time in helping Natasha work through her fears of being inadequate, her fears of not being a good enough mother for the boys, of her recognizing that she did bring a lot to the table in this relationship and to the family.
Maverick was wonderful in his patience with the boys and trying to understand their needs. He also gets kudos for accepting Natasha just as she is and understanding that she could take care of herself. Her relationship with Hayden was perfect. I think she and Tessa will be great friends. The scene in the Military store was hilarious. That fight scene was amazing.
Marshall and Major just simply stole my heart. An over abundance of cuteness.
I can’t wait for Ryker’s story.

What’s a mercenary to do, when your mark, turns out to be a mercenary and your their mark?
Maveryck has never had any issues with his assignments, but that all changes after his last job. In fact, his whole life changes.
Tatiana/Natalia has made a change in her life with a little help from an unknown person. Things are going well until they don’t.
As these two lives collide, can each keep their private lives a secret? But before they can become a family, they need to figure out who is out to kill them both!
This is second in the series of The Hounds of Zeus MC, and can’t wait for the next installment.

He execute the contract but someone else also got a contract to eliminate Anatoly Volkov and it’s his own daughter Tatiana. Maveryck almost got shot in the process.
You will discover that both Maveryck and Tatiana will cross paths but Tatiana is wearing a disguise so Maveryck won’t recognize her, but her scent.....
They will accept the contract that Nexus has given them to eliminate each other.
In the meantime Jenna come to see Maveryck and tell him that he is the father of twins Major and Marshall, and he has to look after them.

Double the Mayhem (The Hounds of Zeus MC Book 2) by Faith Gibson is the next saga in the series. On a mercenary assignment Mayhem is on his way to kill his mark when he gets a scent that drives his beast wild. Tatiana is the daughter of a Russian mob boss and her father is Mayhem's mark. She wants to take over for her dad but she has been trained to be an assassin and his #1 guard. When her dad is killed she finds herself at a crossroads. Circumstances have Tatiana and Mayhem's path crossing. Now the fun begins. This is a story of secrets, betrayal and new beginnings. A good story that had me from the beginning to the end. I love the characters. I love seeing the crossover from the Stone Society series. This author has a way of telling a story that has me wanting to know more about all the characters in her stories. Tatiana aka Natalia and Maveryck aka Mayhem are a couple I enjoyed going on their journey to each other. So looking forward to reading more about them along with the next story in the Hounds of Zeus MC series. 5 stars for me.

OMG!! I can't believe what that bitch said and pulled then had the nerve 2 blame her 4 her stupidity!! I can't believe his surprises!! She got the short end of the stick with stupid hateful family but paybacks a bitch!! But she is good at realizing that I don't have 2 b blood 2 b family. I soooo hope that Ryder gets a mate and gets 2 feel love again asap.

This is book two in the series, this is a stand-a-lone but will get more from this book if you read them in order. I find it hard to make a second book as good as the first book in a series but Ms. Gibson has a talent for each book amazing in its own right and this one is no different. Once I started reading I was unable to put it down. This is another must read series by Ms. Gibson.

apparently old 2021 me gave this 3 starts but she was an idiot so really this is 2 starts. just not super well written, honestly the most insane insta love between assassin and assassin and assassin and other assassins kids. I’m not sure I’ve ever read a more instant relationship/ i love you want am obsessed w you book in my entire life
