The title of this book is misleading. It's not so much about going out and finding someone to date as it is about choosing the right person to be with and maintaining a relationship that you're committed to. It should be required reading for all single people who are actively dating.
Atwood's main ideas are pretty basic and include things like: knowing yourself, choosing someone who has the same basic values as you do, communicating honestly and openly with your partner, and not staying in relationships that aren't right for you.
