A sweeping, second chance standalone romance!

I was pretty good at living without regrets until a way too close call during a skydive. Instead of my life flashing before my eyes, I saw one face, one regret that’s been gnawing at me ever since—Presley. The woman I loved madly ten years ago. The woman I had to walk away from.

At first, all I want is to sort out why I can’t get her out of my head. But as soon as I see Presley again, I know I have to win her back at any cost. Brilliant, captivating and utterly beautiful, she’s the one I want.

Fate steps in when we’re asked to pair up to find a treasure in art and antiques. It’s an opportunity I can’t pass up—to uncover a path back to the woman I let get away while we chase down a love story a hundred years in the making.

Trouble is, Presley is tougher now, more wary, and she’s been hurt. By me. So it's going to take a whole lot more than one hot kiss and a wild adventure together to convince her to give me a second chance.

Is anyone else other then me tired of every darn 2nd chance romance being a 10+ year separation? Ten years in which Hero gets to live out his life forgetting all about the heroine while heroine struggles through, and in most cases is frozen.

Is it asking too much for authors to come up with something more original? I can respect 6 months or a year seperation, but ten? That's a whole lifetime and only acceptable if the MCs were 10 or 15. Come on already!!!

Deliciously sweet! Lauren Blakely has penned a refreshing and irresistibly sweet, sexy and swoony story in which she introduces a historian and an explorer who ten years ago had a whirlwind romance but then set out to pursue their dreams separately.

Following his father’s advice, Hunter Armstrong has been living his dream, living to the fullest for the past ten years. He’s a highly successful adventurer, survivalist and author but after a very close call on his last jump, he saw his one regret flash through his mind and the perfect opportunity to get close to her has landed on his lap.

After her heartbreaking breakup with Hunter, Presley Turner sets out to pursue her career, but for her life hasn’t gone exactly as planned. She’s struggling yet hopeful, and when an opportunity arises she’s determined to thrive. Then she finds out who she’ll be working closely with and her resolve falters a bit. Because having her heart broken twice by the charismatic and gorgeous Hunter is not something she could easily recover from.

Uncovering intriguing artifacts that point to a romantic mystery, they follow the clues that not only reveal old secrets but rouse not so buried feelings the two once felt as if it were yesterday. Can they solve the mystery and find a way to get a second chance at love?

Blakely writes an original and engaging story filled with swoony romance, sizzling chemistry and fun adventure. Hunter and Presley are perfect for each other. He’s charismatic and good at everything he does. She’s smart and motivated. They don’t just make a great team solving clues, they’re also great together with a fun back and forth and loving support. Their story was such a delight to read.

PS It’s Always Been About You is book #1 of the PS It’s Always Been About You series by Lauren Blakely. It’s an absolutely swoon worthy second chance romance that kept me smiling widely throughout. It’s a standalone romance, told from both points of view with a happy ending.

WOW! Devoured this beauty in one sitting!!! Gorgeous and heartfelt second chance romance. Unique story of an adventurous handsome hero meet nerdy sweet art historian. Presley is smart, quirky and adorable. Hunter is the swooniest hero. He made a huge mistake when they were younger but all the groveling was sweet and worth every minute. It’s fireworks between these two and they have to work side by side on a project – oh how I love the banters. I really enjoy the exciting treasure hunting part of the book – very interesting and I feel like I am right there along with them. The sizzling attractions and chemistry is undeniable, but I also like how at ease they are around each other despite the years apart. A little angsty at the beginning but for the most part Presley and Hunter are like soulmates. All the letters are so lovely and romantic. The twist in the end though I did not see coming … fool me once :)
Perfect epilogue – again super romantic!
Can’t wait for Cammi and Trevor. Bring on the Secret Society of the Valentine’s Night Love Letters.
Fantastic read!!!

This was an entertaining second chance romance! Hunter and Presley, who after an intense, but brief romance, reunite 10 years later on a project for work. The reason behind the separation isn't my favorite, but I'm always a sucker for a second chance romance. Throw in a little forced proximity, humor, and mystery and I'm sold. I really liked the treasure hunt aspect woven into the story and it was fun watching Hunter and Presley follow the clues and reconnect with each other. Hunter does unfortunately make some pretty terrible decisions after an intimate moment that made me really annoyed and I felt like Presley let him off the hook way too easily. As much as I liked Hunter and Presley, I'm not sure I truly felt the fire re-ignite between them. Things do get steamy in PS It's Always Been You, but it's not as detailed/hot and heavy as other Lauren Blakely titles I've read. There was a lot going on in the story in order to solve the mystery, and even though it centered around love, I felt like Hunter and Presley's love story got a bit overshadowed. This was still an entertaining story though that Lauren Blakely fans are sure to enjoy!

5 star review of P.S. It’s Always Been You by Lauren Blakely
This is a second chance at love story for Hunter and Presley and one that I read in almost one go. I was intrigued by the story and totally invested in a story that reminded me a little like an Indiana Jones story line and I found myself riveted as the hunt for lost treasure began.
Brought back together by circumstances, Presley has never gotten over Hunter leaving her for a mysterious job and now ten years later when she is struggling in her career, he walks back into her life, challenging everything.
It was interesting how their past relationship morphs into their present one. It was heartwarming to see how much Hunter wants Presley to succeed, both professionally and personally.
As they move through the journey, discovering and following the clues, the story grabbed my imagination and did not let go. This was a beautiful story, of great love, both in the past and present and was swoon worthy.

** ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review. **

I was pleasantly surprised by this story, utterly charmed. Presley and Hunter had shared something strong for six months meeting on the road, and turning probably into something more until the moment Hunter broke her heart.
Then, ten years later, the man she couldn’t forget came back into her life. The successful tv star, adventurer and survival expert was more sexy and charming for her own good.
Presley is an enthusiastic curator, who loves to find the story behind found items, passionate about working in auction houses and museums.
I totally felt their passion for discovering and travelling, to feel and discover the extensive range
of what life and history have to offer.
I adored their natural chemistry and their journey through chasing down a love story in the making who made them realize what they were actually missing.
There was some angst due to their history but damn Hunter and his charming ways, reading her perfectly and making her feel things again. I appreciated how they were trying to be honest about their feelings and their aspirations. We might have thought the gap was widening between them but they were so aware of each other’s passion and career, respectful about it and so supportive of the other. I adored that.
Throughout this chase, the main characters found step by step their way to each other, as they discovered love letters written so many years ago, they learnt how to see things from another perspective.
The author wrote such a beautiful story that melted my heart. Presley and Hunter captivated me with this treasure hunt, finding the one that really mattered. Lauren Blakely developed a storyline that has an interesting twist along with a right dose of conflict and emotion.
It was engaging, delightfully sweet, incredibly romantic and swoony! Just swept off my feet!

Somewhere between 3 - 3.5
I completed this book last night and waited till this morning to review it. Thank God I did it as I am happy to realise that my thoughts are more clear about the whole story.

Earlier I was about to give it 4 stars for the emotions put into it. The whole concept of a second chance after ten years is alot to process. I flowed with the story and then realised that it was more than Hunter and Presley's story. Rather there was a beautiful part where two lovers are shown united through a very unique way. Gretchen and Edward are the lovers through whose story Hunter and Presley actually falls in love.

I am more into the older couple as that hit me really hard. Whereas Hunter and Presley were some random couple who had to catch their dreams so couldn't stay together but then after ten years fate played its part and their relatives plus friends plotted some story hunting game/work to help them realise how good they are for each other.

That's why I am now in between 3 & 3.5 as the outer cover of the story is not as interesting as I expected it to be. Also some parts of Hunter and Presley felt 'not real' to me. But I am in love with Edward and Gretchen's story.

P.S. It’s Always Been You is a second chance romance that will take you on an adventure and make you forget the real world.

Hunter and Presley had a whirlwind romance. They were planning a future together. Until Presley is left heartbroken suddenly and Hunter is off on a new adventure. Ten years pass and they have the chance to work together. Will Hunter be able to win back the girl he never forgot about? Will Presley let Hunter in again?

I loved the chemistry between Hunter and Presley from the start. You could feel Presley’s pain and heartbreak over Hunter from the start. She wasn’t going to let him back into her heart just because they were forced to work together. I loved the adventure and the mystery this story brought. It was something fun and different. The banter and flirting between Hunter and Presley was great and you could still feel there is something between them, even if they didn’t want to give into it.

P.S. It’s Always Been You is a MUST READ book that will take you on a wild adventure and steal your heart.

Nope! Just nope!

This book is everything I want in a romance and I’m gonna tell you why.

1- the reason why he left her was incredibly selfish. He was just thinking about him and screw the person you are supposed to love, right? Because keeping a promise to your dad and following your dream is enough reason to be a stupid selfish asshole and break the heroine’s heart the way he did. Oh, and he was a coward too. Face to face break up? It’s not important because you’re following your dream. I’m not saying he should leave his dreams behind in order to be with the heroine but I think if you really love someone you can make it work or at least sacrifice some things, because that’s what love is about.

2- He didn’t even think about the heroine for years. Just when he thought he was going to die. Is this true love? Well, if it is I don’t want it. The heroine was not important to him, didn’t even have a place in his heart. How can you love someone and spend ten years without thinking about them? He said:” If I’d wanted to see her again after all these years, I’d have sought her out".
Yeah, this is exactly what he said.

3- he didn’t regret at all. He didn’t feel a bit of remorse because he achieved his dream. His apology was shit. I didn’t believe it. He didn’t say but it was like: I’m sorry I broke your heart but I was following my dream and you are not important enough to me.

4- he spent ten years sleeping around, dating famous women, while the heroine was pinning for him. She saw the people he dated on tv or internet (I don’t remember). He was famous and rich and she didn’t even achieved her dreams.

5- When he saw her again, he was a tremendous piece of shit. He used her attraction to him and the fact that she still had feelings for him to get under her skin. He KNEW she was hurt and he kept doing that, like they were buddies. He kept trying to get a reaction from her. He wasn’t even sad. He was just an immature prick, who didn’t have the balls to act like a grown man. He just hurt her even more.

6- his apology was shit. He didn’t grovel. She took him back fast. He acted like a teen trying to get in the heroine’s pants when he came back.

7- the heroine was not even the second best. He didn’t sacrifice a shit for her. And she was so weak when it came to him. If you are not important to a guy for ten years why do you want him back? He DIDN’T EVEN THINK about you while you were suffering. You are always going to be a minimal part in his life. Why can’t you see that you deserve better than that? Please girls, if a man can’t love you enough and doesn’t care about your feelings DON’T accept that. You are not made to be loved just when is convenient. This is not love.
He just wanted to sleep with her again.

I respect the people who like this book and the author who wrote it. But when the vision of true love was lost and twisted like that?

I’m gonna make this short because I don’t want to go on and on. I’m a fan of this author’s work. I’ve #oneclick’d almost everything she has every written without even reading a synopsis. That being said, I’m not a fan of the choices the author made in the set up of the second chance in this story or the why behind why we have a second chance in the first place which rolls right into the choices she made for the hero. The story is well written and not even remotely outside the realm of possibility, those choices could happen ... I’m just not a fan so I was rooting for no one and pretty much sailed thru the reading without a single emotion *shrug*

This story will leave your heart floating on air and put a spring in your step. Hunter and Presley fell in love but he left town to chase adventure after adventure. Fast forward 10 years and what you thought was one love story becomes a love story within a love story. Edward and Greta share their love story and both stories are told beautifully through Lauren's imagination. I found myself crying for the difficulties Edward and Greta endured and holding my breath for Hunter and Presley. I know you will love this new book as you float between two incredible love stories.

It’s Always Been You features two overlapping storylines that span decades. Hunter Armstrong and Presley were young lovers when he decided to leave to pursue a once in a lifetime job offer; and although they parted ways, they never forgot one another.

I’ve read everything Lauren Blakely ever published and each one is original with fabulous and often witty dialogue, character growth, deep soul searching, and strong, smart heroes and heroines. It’s Always Been You is another five-star read for me!

Hunter is hot and handsome, rugged and fit, smooth and charming. He’s a professional thrill seeker with his own adventure series, but at what cost? He is successful and popular, but very much alone and far from perfect. He eagerly accepts a side job utilizing his background when he learns he’ll be working side-by-side with the one who got away. Our sweet heroine is an older and wiser art curator assigned to catalogue the contents of a home filled with priceless antiques as well as a mystery.

Greta and Edward, the deceased owners of the home, left letters for their children to find in various places explaining how they met and their own love story. Hunter and Presley are on a wonderful adventure as they try to piece together the clues left behind while slowly letting down their guard and getting to know one another again. Little did they know how the older couple’s history and advice to their children would personally affect them by making them realize what’s most important in life.

This is a fabulous slow-burn, second chance love story with lots of twists and turns as these two can’t deny their insane mutual attraction, curiosity, and how easy and natural it feels to be together. They have such different lifestyles and goals, yet have so much in common.

I admire Presley for how she handled the breakup with grace and how she didn’t gush over Hunter like a fan-girl and immediately jumping into bed with him. She is naturally guarded as he hurt her so deeply before and knows she'll suffer the same fate if she gives him her heart again as he will soon be off to another adventure.

Every time I read a book by Lauren Blakely I learn something new, and this book was filled with so much history and cool facts. I loved learning more about both of their professions and it’s obvious Blakely does her research because it flows effortlessly. Presley and Hunter were in their element and I loved how in awe and humbled he was in her presence, and how he fought to win back her heart. Swoon! Swoon! Swoon!

It’s Always Been You was such a fun read that kept me intrigued and hopeful the entire time. I especially loved the epilogue.

Hunter Armstrong is a man who tries not to have regrets. He lives his life to the fullest just as he was taught to do. He is an adventurer, survivalist, author, and documents his daring stunts on his own show and special. For all intents and purposes, he is living his dream...but when a stunt goes wrong, the one regret he tried to bury keeps coming to the forefront of his mind.

Presley Turner was the girl he loved and left ten years ago to set off on adventures. But now her face is who he keeps seeing and wondering about. Her life has not gone quite like she hoped and she is struggling in her career and love life. But she is smart, talented, sweet, and motivated

When an opportunity arises that would put them in close proximity of working together on a project, Hunter jumps at it while Presley is worried. She is afraid she will not be able to resist this successful, charismatic, charitable Hunter and will get her heart broken again. Especially when he seems to be on the pursuit despite the fact she is putting up resistance.

As they follow a mystery in their project, it stirs up feelings, and the secrets found illustrate how important true love can be.

These two are fun together and just fit. Hunter is that man that can do anything and succeed, but he has a hard time knowing when to stop and just relax. Presley's life has been in a rut, but she is so motivated to succeed that she is always looking ahead to the future and what needs to be done. They have smoking chemistry and fun rapport. They have history, both good and bad. She has the ability to both keep him in check, but also support him. And he always believed in her talent and pushed her towards success. They are both so intelligent and analytical that they can see clues and angles and work together for answers. They make a great team.

But she might be misjudging his determination to have her back in his life. And the temptation, flirting, kisses, and desperation are hard to ignore. But she is not someone who wants to give up on her dreams or make someone give up theirs. So that will leave right back where they were before with choices or sacrifices to be made.

This is a fun, sexy, second-chance love story reignited while unraveling an unexpected mystery. It is also a love story within a love story and there are some fun twists I did not see coming. This is a stand-alone story, but Lauren Blakely fans will see familiar faces.

This was a bit stock standard and why was the audio divided into 3 books???

Nonetheless, I liked the second chance story of Presley and Hunter. And I didn't see that twist at the end but it all makes sense now...

It started a bit slow but got better toward the end. And that actual ending - gah - so sweet I almost gave it an extra star for that alone

4.5 Enchanting Stars!
What a fun, intriguing, and sexy, second chance romance! I love the concept of this story with it's touch of mystery and enchanting scavenger hunt! Presley and Hunter are young lovers making plans for their future. Presley was blindsided and heartbroken when Hunter leaves suddenly on a secret adventure. In the years that follow, She works hard to heal her heart and become a successful Art Curator while Hunter became a famous adventurer. When Presley has the chance of a lifetime to find buried treasure, she wasn't expecting to be teamed up with the one man she never got over. Hunter is excited to have a second chance to make things right with Presley. Presley and Hunter work together uncovering a seductive puzzle through clues from the old Valentino letters, that takes them on a scavenger hunt. As they research the clues, they easily fall back into their flirty banter filled with steamy innuendo. They also begin to dissect each others love lives, causing old feelings to resurface. They soon discover that their approach to treasure seeking is completely different and they're involved for very different reasons. Can they trust each other when they start to uncover the mystery? I had so much fun watching them work together so skillfully, playing off each others strengths. I loved how their relationship unfolded synonymously with the beautiful love story that was described through the Valentino Love Letters. All through this adventure, I also enjoyed seeing Presley and Hunter change and grow, wanting the others success more than their own. This story was so much fun and the twists and turns this adventure took were exciting, and kept me engaged from the very start. The ending surprised me and I loved how sweet, and enchanting it was. I was completely captivated by this unique, irresistible, and seductive romance.

This book just didn't work for me. I never felt the chemistry between Presley and Hunter and that shocked me since I've read every word Lauren Blakely has ever written and I'm usually head over heels for her couples.

I will say that the secondary story, if you will, concerning a couple who leave love letters to each other as part of a scavenger hunt that our couple partake in, had me captivated! I've said for years that I've wanted Blakely to write a story from another time and I'm hopeful she might just do that in the future since she clearly has a knack for it.

The usual sights and sounds of NYC always make a great backdrop but sadly, even that couldn't excite me as Hunter and Presley fall in love once again.

No doubt this is a case of 'it's me, not you' so if 2nd chance romance is your thing, then you might want to give this one a try.

Great second chance romance for Hunter and Presley. They spent 6 romantic months together and she thought they would be together forever but that was not the case. Fast forward 10 years and they are brought back together on an amazing scavenger hunt. You will get two romances in this story and fall in love with both couples, old and new. Loved this read. I highly recommend this fun read to find an escape.

PS It's Always Been You: A Second Chance Romance is the story of Hunter and Presley .
The prologue gave how this couple broke up due to Hunter taking a job on a expeditions to Alaska and breaking up with Presley over the phone. Hunter in their present day knew that his one regret was letting Presley go so when he got the second chance to be with her he went for it.
I enjoyed their second chance at love story.

Couldn’t connect with the characters and didn’t actually care if they ended up together or not. Was missing the usual Blakely humor and sass. After walking out on the h after Valentine’s Day for a once in a lifetime opportunity, the H does everything he can to forget her and admits he did.

What as a$$. I was already over the book and this was only in the first 1/4 of the book. He didn’t redeem himself as the book progressed either.

This book was literally ADORABLE!! For the first couple of chapters I really didn't like Hunter, he seemed so full of himself and a few things he said in regards to Presley gave me the ick. I loved Presley from the get go and felt so sorry for her with everything that happened 10 years prior. As the book went on I did really warm to Hunter, and he did redeem himself. The actual story was so lovely, I really loved hearing all about the love story and lives of the two people they were looking into. It was such a fun listen and I really didn't expect the plot twist but it made me well up a little!

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and recommend to anyone who loves a cheesy, swoony rom-com!

“There are some chances that only pass your way once, and you have to grab them. Seize them, clutch them, and hold them tenaciously with all your might.”

P.S. It’s Always Been You was such a captivating second chance romance that will take you on an adventure of a lifetime.

As a former paratrooper with the US Army, thirty-seven year old Hunter Armstrong is not afraid of pushing his limits while exploring or going on survival expeditions. It’s in his blood to be an explorer and when presented with a life changing opportunity, he doesn’t hesitate to say yes. Even if it meant ending his relationship with Presley. Now ten years later, he is a famous author and host of an adventure series. He has been successful at everything he puts his mind to, yet when faced with an almost death situation during a skydive that could have gone wrong he recalls the one person he left behind. Regret fills him and feels the need to come back to New York to get her back. Fate had other plans for him the minute they’re asked to work together while sorting through antiques from a famous explorer family. Little did they know that the project would prove to be the start of their own romantic adventure.

Presley Turner is an art historian working as a curator for a prominent auction house. Although she has been working really hard to be good at what she does, she still has a long way to go when it comes to having success in the publishing world. It’s even more frustrating to see her ex, the one who hurt her ten years ago be all over billboards around town. He has found his success and she is not going to let him get in the way of hers. Presley is shocked to see Hunter back and she can’t believe she is going to be working with him. Yet, the minute they get to work it’s like going back in time when they used to dream about exploring and being together. Now they have to chase down a love story while they figure out if they can still save theirs.

It’s no secret that I love anything by Lauren Blakely, her stories are so full of life and feels. P.S. It’s Always Been You was no different, it was truly a story that had me reading nonstop until the very end. We get to meet Hunter, an explorer who has his own exploring series and it completely reminded me of Josh Gates (from an actual tv series Exploration Unknown). I fell in love with Hunter, he loves a good adventure and his chemistry with Presley is undeniable. They both compliment each other, while she loves a good book, Hunter loves the outdoors, yet they both are able to work together really well. But there are still things that they need to work on in order to make things work and the final result will leave you wanting for more. The story was beautifully written, I loved all the clues that they needed to figure out and the love letters that will ultimately bring them together. All in all, the story was great and if you love a good adventure full of romance then I would highly recommend checking out this book and any others by the author! :)

A standalone, second chance romance with a fun archaeologist expedition component mixed in. When you've lost the love of your life and she is, for lack of a better term, a treasure hunter what better way to win her back than to go on a treasure hunt. This is the heart of P.S. It's Always Been You. Hunter and Presley solve a century old love story, while they piece their own hearts back together.

A decade ago Hunter and Presley were a couple, then Hunter took a job that was not only life altering for his career, but it took him away from Presley. She was not quite as fortunate on the career front and years later still just a little angry that he just up and left from their relationship. When he returns and wants another chance she's not sure about giving him one. While he's had a fantastic life for the past decade and did the leaving, with what appeared very little hardship, her heart couldn't take him doing the same thing once again.

If it's one thing that Lauren does really well in her writing, it is writing a heartfelt apology. Hunter realizes that Presley is hurt, even after all the years that have passed. Instead of giving a blanket "I'm sorry", he delivers a sincere, heartfelt apology. Lauren digs deep to the pain or misunderstanding so that characters can get back to their romping good time. I think this is why her books are always so enjoyable.

Hunter and Presley search for clues to a century old love story, one that take them throughout New York City and reconnecting along the way. For Hunter it is an adventure, something that he craves. For Presley it touches the historian in her. Now if only they could continue this journey forever so their time would never end.

4.5 Stars for P.S It’s Always Been You
If you love second chance romances you will love Hunter and Presley’s story and I’m sure like me you will be captivated from the first page to the last line. This is book that has a lot going for it, a couple you can’t help falling for and a plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Presley and Hunter have history and if she is honest with herself she has never gotten over the fact Hunter’s job came before her and their relationship all those years ago but now he is back in her life and offering her exactly what she needs in the form of a mysterious job, a job that could put her career back on track...
As this couple start to uncover the clues that take them on the mysterious treasure hunt their feelings start to come to the surface and as they spend time together they realise what they once had and they both need that again. A beautifully love story that ticked all my boxes, it’s romantic, it’s mysterious and it’s passionate so I urge you one click this gem of a read.

A heroine that’s all about romance and a hero that finds himself wanting to give her everything her heart desires...yes, you have another Lauren Blakely story.

Once upon a time, Hunter and Presley thought they might have a fairytale ending. But alas, the Hero turned out to not be the Charming Prince.  Hunter gave Presley hope only to dash it away, with a harsh goodbye.

The years have been good to Hunter. He’s reached success beyond his wildest dreams. But one turn of events has him re-evaluating his life and thinking about the woman he let go. Presley has moved on, not like she imagined or wanted, but she was happy.

All systems are go until an opportunity that neither of them can ignore presents itself.  Hunter finds himself not only missing Presley but desperately wanting her back.  Presley feels the draw but remembers the hurt. While trying to complete this adventure they’ve been presented, both realize they have unfinished business.  But once again, opportunity knocks...will they answer or close another door?

I love this couple.  Presley is a romantic at heart and Hunter, well, he is the Hero that kisses so good your toes curl and foot pops!

P.S. It’s Always Been You is a sweet, second chance romance from Lauren Blakely. Presley and Hunter dated about 10 years ago. They had a brief relationship, which ended pretty abruptly, with Hunter leaving without notice, leaving Presley heartbroken and angry. Hunter is an adventurer, living his life to the fullest. When he starts seeing Presley’s face in all his death-defying stunts, he realizes he has some regret and needs to see her. As fate would have it, a work project falls into his lap that pairs him with Presley, an art historian. They work together to go through a famous couple’s home, and find some incredible love letters between the couple that show their love story. This part of the story from the 1920s with this other couple was probably my favorite part of the story. It was sweet, charming and thrilling to read their story. It paralleled quite well with Presley and Hunter’s story. These two had great chemistry, and smart banter. But, I struggled a lot with Hunter's character. He was careless, and hard to trust. Presley was only slightly better. I wanted her to have been doing better in those 10 years than just struggling with her life. But, this was a quick read and I did really enjoy the other couple's story and the clues part of the story, so I would recommend it.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

2 boring scavenger hunt Stars

This had a good recipe of a story however it was just a little boring. I didn’t like the male narrator at all and the like of the female Andi Arnt couldn’t bring it back. I think it tried too hard and I just wasn’t buying it.

But I like the author so I’ll read something else of hers I’m sure.
