I never knew my daddy. It was always just me and Mom, until it wasn't. She left me alone in the world with nothing but a name, an obsession, and a fierce yearning to know where I came from.

He doesn't even know I exist, but I found him, and he was everything I could want…

Pater's blood runs in my veins, and the darkness inside of him paints my soul as black as his heart. I want to hate him, but all I can do is love him. There's no escaping what binds me to him, but I can still try.

Oh well, look at that. I'm in those weird sadistic mood again. Just when I thought enough is enough and yet I came back. Hah.

At this point, don't we all wonder that maybe Pater is an evil supernatural being. He always appeared out of nowhere. As far for the rating, it was actually an okay book. I've embraced this fuckedupness and oh god, it is liberating. Hah.

Along with DESSICATE, this was my favorite of the INFERNO WORLD! Although slightly altered Yolanda Olson‘s original story, I loved the idea of Jocelyn’s sister, Sofia, moving in with the Greenes! Pater was just as evil and twisted as he was in the original series, resulting in a fabulously dark, disturbing story! Also like DESSICATE, FLAGRANT is one of the most well-written books in this series. Like in all of Vance’s books, aside from not following the FANBOYS comma rule, there wasn’t a single error or typo!! Long story short, if you enjoyed the original series, you will absolutely love this one, too!!!

The Unknown Greene....

“If Pater had another daughter”

I love these Inferno/Novellas books. They put you in the mind set of the most demented family to grace the book world. It has you rooting for the under dog and the success of plots and plans, until it all fails.

Flagrant is about Sofia. She is trying to find her real father but her stepdad, thinks it’s a bad idea. When she discovers some hidden secrets that pertains to her father, she takes it and goes looking. What she finds is worst than what she could have imagined. Sofia wants a family and she gets more than she is bargaining for.

Ally, has gained her access into the inferno world books and her book fits in perfectly. She knows the warped mind of the creator of this world and she right up there with her.
You can read this book as a stand-alone but to get into this family and really know where it started from you must read the Inferno series by Yolanda Olson.

I have yet to read an Inferno/Inferno World book that I don't love and this was no different. I loved that this was nestled into the original inferno kstory and I got to be back in the house with Pater. I definitely suggest reading the original series first to have full appreciation for this dark, twisted story. And that ending....wowza😯

So look I read this knowing it has incest and no that's not what bothered me.

What bothered me is that the h was stupid, plain, and simple. I didn't get how easily she fell in love with him. What was there to love about him? She says her and her 'daddy's' eyes are exact replicas then how come, after seeing the photo she didn't realize it's her dad and not a stranger lol. It's like she didn't really wanted to leave and was just doing stupid things to get his attention. She didn't fight against her step dad's mother when the mother forcefully dragged her inside. I mean is she really that stupid? Sofia literally saw her call someone ofc she'll call her son smh. Why wouldn't she run? Secondly how tf did she end up in that forest and how weird that just after masturbating, her 'daddy' got her lmao. Coincidence much?

And oh why tf would she go back to her old house, knowing her stepdad is actually blood-related and is a sleaze? How was she planning on hiding from him when he lived alone and she planned on using the bathroom and the food? Lol. This book was so stupid. I didn't even feel the taboo thing. It was just so OTT. I didn't get the ending too. .

Also if Sofia really, actually wanted to live away from them she should have run somewhere far and not back to her old house. Pater obviously didn't search for her mother bc her mother was literally a few miles away. So what kind of hiding is that? Her mother is so terrified but she goes and marries pater's cousin and is literally a few miles from him? The day her stepdad bought her back to pater, pater was surprised which means he wasn't expecting her bc he thought she ran away and was NOT going to bother himself searching for her.smh. THIS BOOK WAS STUPID. That's really all and I wouldn't recommend it AT ALL.

Inferno World.

Sadly this book didn't do it for me Sofia was so naive that she came of as a bit of an idiot..There were parts of the story where I thought the darkness of Inferno were coming to peek through but they fell flat and just didn't recover..For me it read like fan fiction of a fantasy of Pater instead of a legit part of a series..Pater is a despicable vile man that has no compassion but this was romanticized and it just felt wrong to me..I did enjoy Pater beating up old Greg though so there's that.

Daddy's Girl

When you see sweet Ally's face do you really see someone writing in this world?

Ally has created the ultimate Daddy's Girl with Fia. But Daddy being Daddy he doesn't take crap from anyone. So can Fia stand the test of time? Or will her strength be her ultimate demise?

A rock and a hard place.

We all couldn't stay away could we? this inferno world.. it's flames so bright and we are all moths to the flame.

Flagrant interweaves with the timeline of the original inferno series.

This story starts off a bit different. We are introduced to the main character of Flagrant: Sofia. Little does she know.. she has the Greene blood running through her veins. And once she does find out... she stops at nothing to find her beginnings.

___________
He’s a nameless, faceless entity, more like a myth than a man
___________

The never-ending yearning to discover, to understand .. becomes her driving force. Her passion.

but this is where the story starts to go on a tangent of different sorts. of what we're used to. Once Sofia finds a hidden picture with her mother's belongings ... we're given a sweet taste of what's to come..

___________
Heat coils in my stomach at the way his dark eyes seem to penetrate my soul even from a photograph, and I hungrily rake my eyes over the rest of him, devouring everything the small picture has to offer.
___________

she left me hungry too. hungry to know what's going to happen because I had a feeling our little Sofia has a hint of the sickness.

One sentence that stood out to me .. that I just had to highlight was this one, and it's foreshadowing

___________
I’m now walking along is dense and imposing, surrounding me in a sea of green.
___________

I said, surely .. this sentence was meant to just slide in without notice. Oh, but I noticed alright. It was shining like a beacon. I love how the author wrote it ... Sofia being surrounded in a sea of green. And she really was. Greene. Greene was starting to be all encompassing for Sofia whether she wanted it to or not. Despite her asking for it and telling herself she didn't want it.

Despite the situations that Sofia PUTS herself in, this story showed me a side of our dear Luke that I, myself wish I didn't want to see...

___________
A father’s love is supposed to be gentle and kind, but his is raw, animalistic, and frighteningly cold.
___________

oh we are given a frightening beautiful, disastrous, menacing, enticing look into a father .. a man who does not tolerate other's violating his children. Like Sofia, we find ourselves ... caught between love/hate for dear daddy.

__________
My daddy is savage, lethal, and terrifyingly glorious in this moment....His complete dominance and power fill me with awe.
__________

but like most of the inferno World Series..we all know the pitch black flavor we've come to love (and wish we didn't). We've all become a bit used to it's Flagrant aftertaste..

Flagrant - adjective (of an action considered wrong or immoral) conspicuously or obviously offensive.

This story is so full of Flagrant scenarios that Ally Vance added another fantastic addition to the Inferno World.

Sofia Richards is hell bent on finding her true family but in doing so she goes from the pot to the frying pan.

Luke Greene is all for family. His love knows no bounds and to him his word is gospel.

Ally Vance delves deep into the dark and absolute taboo scenarios and my twisted dirty little mind loved every word. The Inferno World Series hits all of the right spots for the readers who love the dark reads.

I love this world you never know what to expect it's demented and just down right taboo in everyway imaginable but family is family and Sofia is all alone needs to know were she comes from and oh man now she knows.

Luke Greene runs his family with an iron fist and it gives you mixed feelings love or hate him but is there a choice his blood is your blood there is no escape and he chooses wisely.

Sofia I did feel bad she seemed so confused and just wanted to belong to something and loved and oh boy she did.

You'll never forget this world the writing is amazing and I love love the characters.

Perfection!!!!!!!

Ahhh. Another one bites the dust. Each story just warms my dirty little soul. And also makes me gush like a waterfall. Do you get me? I am sick. But I have come to terms with it. Man, I thought "Pater sure is acting super nice for a minute. Something isnt right. Why is he being so considerate to Fia" Then there at the end, good ol Pater came through and showed us why we love his evil self. Ugh. This series. I love it. Its like having a favorite movie series and it finally ending. Like The Avengers. Or Nightmare on Elm Street. I want Moreeeeeeeeee. 5 stars isnt even enough but its all I got.

I loved this book as the arthur takes us back to the most messed up family I know I've ever read lol the Greene family where the incest is live and well. This story is about Sophia who's still reeling from the loss of her mom and maybe that's why she does what she does or maybe it's something else. She's been left in the care of her abusive alcoholic step dad and she's decided she's going to find her real dad and doesn't realize what a can of worms she's going to be opening up as she's looking for Luke Greene himself.
I love these stories about the Greene family it's never a dull moment and this one definitely will have you turning pages.

This was at least manageable because the books in Inferno World are just.....hard to describe. After all the different books I've read involving the Green family, every time this girl said "i want to know who my daddy is and meet my family or nothing could be worse than where I am and what am going through" i was likd Girrrrrrl the devil you know.......you have what youre getting yourself. Though this one was not as brutal as most, maybe that's why I enjoyed it a little.
But what the hell happened to Eloy??

This book brings you back into the Inferno World seamlessly. The author did an amazing job of taking us right into a family reunion you don't expect. The taboo nature of this book is tantalizing and you feel the intensity throughout in every emotion and action in the book. I think this quote sums it all up for me..."He's Pater...but more than that, he's Daddy." Don't worry, if you haven't read others in the series, it will only make you want to read them all.

Broken and raw

My heart aches and breaks both for poor Sofia. I've been where she is, felt (some of) what she has. I've longed and craved for attention and love, adoration, from my own sperm donor. And he, like Pater, love(s/d) me in his own way. But he, like Pater, is a monster and I'm glad to be free of him. I'm glad Sofia is free of him, despite her end... nobody deserves or needs a Pater in their life.

Oh my dayz. This author has put me through the wringer again with this story. It’s recommended you read Inferno before you read Flagrant.

Sofia is desperate to find her father but she gets more than she ever thought possible when she does find him.

If you love taboo stories then this will be ideal for you.

What a sick and twisted book this was…. And I LOVED it. I have not read inferno so I was a bit out of the loop, but i didn't realize it at all. As much as I should hate Pater for the way he treats his children, I just couldn't. Sofia, not even sure what to say about her, but she is one strong girl that's for sure.

Loved it not gonna lie.
I’m the kinda twisted person that loves these types of books
The only reason it’s not a full 5 star is because of the open ended ending. I like closure when I read and not knowing what’s happened to baby Tyler is annoying. Tho tbh I can kinda guess but that’s not the point.

This Inferno World novella did not disappoint! Sofia waves to find her father, and she gets way more than she ever expected! This book has all the dark and twisted you could want. It's taboo, it's depraved, and it's smoking crazy hot! Pater is just that character you love and hate in turn. As for the whole family, well, it wouldn't belong in this world if they weren't just a little bent!

Great read!

I love the Inferno series by Yolanda, so of course I was excited for the next installment of Inferno World. And boy does Ally deliver.
This is the story of Sofia who after her mother dies goes in search of her real father, but her stepdad thinks its a bad idea. Once we discover who her real dad is you can understand why should be running in the other direction .

Talk about ties that bind!!

Inferno World books are dark, twisted and totally depraved. They earn there trigger warnings ten fold and these books are not for the faint of heart. This is NOT a dark romance and there will be no happy ending here, only pain and heart ache.
