Amethyst Dreams by S.M. Butler is a wonderful story to read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series that is written by a brand new author for me to read and I can not wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy in their stories.

This is the first book in a new magical, contemporary series. The world has changed and magic is in abundance. Some people have so much that they are dangerous. When the magical headquarters is attacked, one of these people are recruited to help solve the case. However, once she is removed from prison more violence occurs. With the action, intrigue, and captivating plot, this story kept me engaged and ready for more each step of the way.
