"Sniff, sniff, sniff." I followed the scent.

This story is told from the point of view of the dog. No people on these pages, mainly birds.

A little mystery, a bit of nature study, and an introduction to imprinting.

Unlike many stories for kids, the ending of this one isn't likely to be obvious to young readers.

A dog's narrative on helping a mother turkey with her eggs. It's a charming little story about nature. For a full lesson, you can follow it up with a short study on turkeys.

This was such a good book! The dog helps out and puts the mother turkey before himself and resolves her conflict. This book is a longer book for those who are learning to read chapter books. A motivational book for children to learn to be selfless and learn that good comes from helping others. Semester II

In this beginning reader, two mother turkeys are afraid to leave their nests because their eggs are being stolen until a pointer puppy offers them a solution.

Our two year old loves it. But it is kind of long for that age group.
