It looked better than it was. Authoer basically re-hashes a lot of Jim Rohn, Michael Gerber, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, et al.

I think the title of this book is a bit misleading, and I doubt if the rich actually do desperately want to keep it secret. Most principles are now in the open.

That aside, this is an excellent book. Brian weighs in with experience of having been there, done that. I learned quit a lot on growing your business, some which I have started implementing. Highly recommended for business owners and folks that want to mind their business

A Wealth of Insight

"What Rich People Know & Desperately Want to Keep Secret" by Brian Sher is an eye-opening exploration into the hidden world of financial success. With its thought-provoking insights and practical wisdom.

Sher's writing style is engaging and accessible, making complex financial concepts easy to grasp for readers from all walks of life. He masterfully unveils the strategies and mindsets that affluent individuals have employed to amass their wealth. The author's ability to break down these secrets into actionable steps sets this book apart from others in the genre.

One of the standout features of the book is its emphasis on the psychology of wealth. Sher delves deep into the mindset shifts required to transform one's financial reality. By focusing not just on monetary techniques but also on the psychological aspects, the book provides a holistic approach to achieving financial success.

The real-world examples and success stories throughout the book lend credibility to the author's advice. These anecdotes demonstrate how the principles Sher outlines have worked for others, inspiring readers to apply them in their own lives.

Furthermore, Sher's candid discussion of the obstacles and misconceptions that hold people back from achieving financial prosperity adds a layer of authenticity to the book. His no-nonsense approach and straightforward language make it easy for readers to connect with the material on a personal level.

While the book is undoubtedly packed with invaluable advice, the only reason I'm withholding a fifth star is its occasional tendency to oversimplify certain wealth-building aspects. Additionally, some readers might find certain sections repetitive, although this repetition does serve to reinforce key concepts.

In conclusion, "What Rich People Know & Desperately Want to Keep Secret" is a must-read for anyone seeking to better understand the mindset and strategies of the wealthy. Brian Sher's clear and actionable insights make this book an excellent resource for beginners and those already on the path to financial success. With its valuable lessons, relatable examples, and focus on psychological transformation, this book has the potential to reshape your financial journey.

All around us, we hear people quitting their jobs to start a business aka entrepreneurial seizure. There are many who even drop out to start their own ventures. But there is a primary misconception that many have: being well trained in a technical skill (ie. Engineering, computer science) does not translate to being able to run a business which in itself is another specialized technical skill. The author shares 4 main advantages you can have which are the basics and the foundations to building your business. I personally know that this knowledge will be super useful the day I decide to start my own business.

Recommendation thanks: A great friend who started his own business back in 2015 and recommended me this book. His business sales has grown at 64% CAGR for the past 4 years. Last year they recorded close to 200% growth in revenue. I saw this growth first hand as I oversaw their numbers.

Suggestion: Yes but only if you plan on starting a business soon. And before you quit that job.
