I thought I'd finally done it. He could no longer watch me...groom me and play with my life like a pawn in his deadly game. Me and my guys fled far away with blood on our hands and fire at our heels, with promises of a life together on the horizon.
But nothing this good can last and I should have seen it coming.
Thanks to Sal g*ddamn Valentino and his manipulative ways they think I'm a liar-a double agent, and nothing I can say will change their minds. The famiglia has come for me, and it looks like the Brotherhood is back to hand me right over.
This is the second book in The Brotherhood series. 18+ due to violence and sexual situations. This book is Reverse Harem.
Hey everyone! I'm K.M. Raya and I write books! Primarily romance, paranormal, YA, mafia, fantasy and Reverse Harem.
I started writing in high school for the school paper, and after that it was a whirlwind. Most of my college years were spent creating stories and blogs and bringing my imagination to life so that one day I could share them with you all. I live in California with my amazingly supportive husband and my two crazy cats, who both definitely proofread everything I write. I spend most of my free time watching B movie horror flicks, crime dramas and any vampire TV show I can find. I'm a lover of fantasy, swoon worthy book boyfriends and suffer from a serious case of wanderlust that can only be cured by reading dozens of books a year.
Thanks a bunch for giving me a follow. I hope you enjoy my worlds and all my little creations. You can find my books on Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble, or if you want, you can follow my Facebook, Instagram and right here on Goodreads!
Captivating masterpiece for those who love something dark
This is hands down one of my favourite series of the year no doubt about it. Its dark, gritty, dangerous, intense, steamy, emotional, mysterious, action packed and so much more. Its hard to find a book that has it all but this book definitely has it all plus more. My heart was pumping all throughout this book. I could not put it down. Im disappointed its over so soon, at least until the next book. Theres literally nothing bad i could say about this series and this book i loved it. I love the plot and the twists and turns through it. I love the world building and the mystery underlay that just keeps you guessing. Alot of questions popped up through this book hopefully ly we get answers in the next installment. I love all the guys. Ellis is bae 😍❤️ i need the next one like NOW! Brilliantly done!
Absolutely amazing.. Couldn't put the book down. It kept me on toes and sent me on a roller coaster of emotions. Angel is one badass chick and her harem of men are just as badass and sexy as she is. If you haven't read Angel which is the first book I highly recommend it when you finish book one read Devils book two. There is violence and crude language just a warning..
What a wonderful ending to the dark and twisted first book. I always knew Angel was strong but this book proved it and those boys Holden, Ellis, Captain and Carter were always meant to be for her. This story picked up where book 1 ends and is just amazing. I only put it down to bath and eat. 5⭐️ recommended read.
I love Angel and her badassery skills. Her men are really hot as well. I’m going to miss them. K.M. Rays is such a wonderful author. She pulls you in and your sunk into it.
So we'll start with the classic, overall I'd like the story. And then we'll end with what I didn't like about the story LOL.
I absolutely loved the last seen before the shooting. I could totally see myself doing that to somebody who has wronged me. Or my family. I mean seriously all it takes is a little slip something in your drink and you're dead. I think people take for granted there's too much trust in this world. You just give it up freely. Stop drinking things that other people are drinking from. Might die of covid. Or something worse.
I wasn't happy with the ending of the book. There's no close off. There's no, what happens next. I think it was kind of a dead ending.
Also I was getting really tired of the two-page details. I can't hit. You don't have to go into big broad details about the woods or what a club looks like. We get it it's nasty it's disgusting, there's ton and tons of needles blah blah blah.
I get it there are people out there that like the details. But I think that I must be like some kind of instant gratification kind of gal.
I would give the author another chance in the future. For now though I'm taking a break, and I'm going to go hunt down something else to read. I think it's time for a fantasy reverse harem.

Wow! What a way to end a story. Angel is definitely my favorite heroine of the year. Despite being turned on by the men she loved, she still stood tall, and on her own without a problem. Author Raya rocked this story. I loved every minute of it
The story had such potential, but finished very poorly. I found myself checking to see if there would be another book. There was absolutely no closure. All of the main characters had fathers who were terrible, and once all the fathers were dead, there was nothing else. We have no idea what happened to the businesses. We have no idea what happened to their relationship. We have no idea about any of it, because the book simply stopped. What happened to the sister? What happened to the mother? Did anybody get together again? Who's running Black Pharmaceuticals? All of these questions needed answers. Again, so much potential, but fell flat.
I fell in love with the characters in the first book and was hoping they would be back and im so glad for this second book! It was amazing and they will always be some of my favorite characters.
Honestly, the book was great🥰. I enjoyed the first book more though.
I don't know if it's just me but I think that the guys have severe trust issues. I know it is because of the world they grew up in but still, their trust issues run very deep.
I am curious how their life will be moving forward 😅.
I am kinda speechless. At first, I wanted to stop reading this book. The miscommunication and the once again betrayal between Angel and her boys made it hard to read. I got so frustrated that I cried.
This book was also really fast-paced that it leaves you with thousand questions in the end. For one is it really that easy to take down a whole mafia family? Seems unlikely to me... What happens in the future? Will Sofia get better? And her mum, how is she holding up? And Nic? What's up with that guy?
This book was full of action but again really fast-paced that I had a hard time comprehending what was happening...
Also even though I was frustrated with the guys I fell in love with them. One can only hope to be loved like that.
I am sad that to be parting from these books. Just when I fell in love with them and their story - it ends.
I really enjoyed the first book, however the second one felt really flat to me. All through the first book the MC and her men had trust issues so I thought we might have been past that but the second book was all about the guys not believing her again and back to calling her a bitch. The entire book felt really rushed and ended without any closure. The epilogue was such a disappointment. I have no clue if the guys ended up apologizing or if they are even back together. I live for the epilogue so for me that was why I rated it so low.
I was enraptured with this book I loves how all the characters came to life once again to conclude their story ... Full disclosure it was a little anticlimatic and leaves me wishing there was another book the epilogue only managed to set my heart beating right again after that last chapter now I need aftercare lol lol ltes have one more go around Raya just to see where these youngsters go from here
I thoroughly enjoyed delving into this world with Angel and her Devils. In the world they live in trust doesn’t come easily. With the manipulations if her father it is a race to get everyone together to fight her family this time around. I appreciate her strength and the strength they have together, it makes for an adventurous read. I recommend reading Angel and this one also.
I liked it, but I was a little bit dissapointed overall. I just got so tired of the guys' actitude, and the ending felt so rushed. I thought I had still some chapters left before we reached a conclusion, because the last scene seemed very whatever to me. I also wished we got to know more of the boys; about their personalities and stories.
