"Pink Slippers, Bat Mitzvah Blues" is the type of book that dancers will definitely understand. This book teaches you about the importance of the religion you study, as well as having fun with the activities. I also learned about discipline, and that in real life you need to be strong willed if you want to be successful in the dance world.
I would recommend this book very much. Alyssa is a bright spirited person who loves dance. Alyssa has just finished her Bat Mitzvah and now is focusing her whole year on dance. But now her Rabbi wants her to start confirmation class which will take up her dance practices. So Alyssa sticks with dance but now her best friend gets very sick so she has to miss dance and tutor her. Watching Alyssa choose which path to take is a very fun journey to be on along the way.
