This book is about hard work. Hard work to make your dreams come true. Hard work to come together with the person you're meant to be with. Hard work to overcome longstanding beliefs about yourself and the hard work it takes to overcome grief.
For anything worth having in life, you have to hustle.
This book is different, yet the same from my debut, Here. This has scorching hot chemistry, all the banter, and it's just fun with a sneaky ...more

Jenny, you killed it once again!
I love this friend group. The enemies to lovers trope can be a hard one to root for sometimes, especially if the characters are too mean to each other. This one was done just right. Dialogue is on point. Enough miscommunication to cause the issues but not too much as to make me want to pull my hair out. We love Dan, as always.
This series is just super fun and cute. I recommend it, for sure.

Full disclosure, my friend Jenny wrote this book, but I got this book on my own accord and this review will still try and be as objective as possible. Nonetheless, I'm super proud of my friend and her amazing journey to publishing! She's knocked out 4 books in the last year, a novella, and is working on even more books! Go Jenny!

I received an early copy of this book. This is an honest review and all opinions are my own.
Hustle is the second book in Jenny Bunting’s Here in Lillyvale series. I have not read the first book, and feel Hustle can be read as a complete standalone, I will however be reading everything by this author as I just devoured this book, and fell in love with the characters and the town and all it encompasses, most especially Taylor and Malcolm!

This slow burn, enemies to lovers, fitness romance is one of my favorites this year. A sophomore novel from Jenny Bunting, HUSTLE showcases her growth and development as a writer and I’m so pleased with it!!!
Taylor is a driven and focused entrepreneur with one of the best spin/yoga studios around. She’s enjoying her work and her success when one day HE moves next door... Malcolm👏Grant👏

I went into this book thinking it would be another easy romance. Well, Jenny made us work for that ending!
This book, while it has the romance between Taylor and Malcolm at the center, also deals with themes of grief and distrust. Malcolm deals with some serious information and Jenny did an amazing job depicting that fragile mental state. Taylor struggles with trusting men again after a few disastrous breakups, and it takes a lot to get her to finally let her iron walls down. There is plenty of ...more

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Taylor and Malcolm are both gym owners and do not start off well in their first meetings. Malcom makes her feel vulnerable because he scares her mind and heart for different reasons. Taylor is exactly what he wants and he plans on getting her. They have quite a few stumbling blocks but find that love wins out. I really enjoyed this story. It had a wide arrange of emotions between the characters. The book was

This is the 2nd book I've read written by Jenny Bunting; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Another fantastic story in the series. I devoured it in one day. The dialogue is forever perfection, and not only did I laugh out loud, I also may have shed a tear. I loved the story, the character development, and all of the side characters. I stan Dan forever!

Taylor is a total badass boss, and she doesn’t need a man coming into her gym, giving her compliments (*gasp*), mansplaining things, and asking her for business advice. How dare this attractive, hunky redhead waltz in with his rippling biceps and forearm veins and try to lay on the charm? The nerve!
Malcom is just trying to get his business off the ground. It took a lot of courage to approach Taylor in the first place. Little did he know he would have a hell of a time beating down Taylor’s fortre ...more

Book hangover level: What am I going to do with my life now that it’s over? Yeah: read the next book tight away!
In short: The perfect enemies to lovers romance.
I am so picky about this trope and this book checked all the boxes for me:
✅ Hilarious banter.
✅ Shameless flirting.
✅ The characters think they’re enemies but they’re actually dying to kiss each other.
✅ Meddling friends (shout out to Dan😍)
✅ Not one moment where they were either mean or treated each other with lies and deceptions, instead, ...more

Hustle returns us to the world of Lillyvale- though it's book #2 in the series it's a complete standalone. I'm a nutjob about reading a series in order and I truly think this one can be read by itself (though by all means you should also read Here.)

I could not get through this book. It's 27 chapters, plus an epilogue, I made it through Chapter 13 before I had to stop for a bit. No one, absolutely NO ONE, listened to Taylor when she talked about how she felt about dating, everyone basically told her to just suck it up. Her employee, for the low low price of a latte, was completely fine giving away details of Taylor's life and location to a man who's basically a stranger (pretty sure that's not okay, no matter how "nice" you think the guy is

Malcolm and Taylor were a fun couple to get to know. Despite his weight issues when he was younger, Malcolm is definitely now eye candy and has opened his own fitness club right next to Taylor's yoga studio. She is a self-made business owner and runs a very successful yoga studio. I loved Malcolm's gentle nature and even though he makes mistakes, he tries to be the best he can be. I had a little more difficulty liking Taylor. She believes she has issues with boyfriends. She can't seem to keep an

So much better than the first one... As in, you're better off skipping it and just starting with Hustle. Here, was a first pancake, shaped weird and somehow managed to be burned on one side and not cooked all the way on the other. Skip it.
Malcolm and Taylor get off on the wrong foot. So it's a diet enemies to lovers. But they actually get to know each other/have chemistry/develop. It does have a few angsty moments and the clichéd inability to communicate as the conflict.

This is my first time reading something by this author. What a cute and romantic story! This was an entertaining and enjoyable read. A fun and unique story and full of great moments, this book will pull you right in and keep you engaged and smiling all the way through. The author does a great job of bringing the story to life with great characters that are lovable and endearing. Loved this story and I definitely recommend it!

As a fitness professional, I was so excited to find this book! This story follows two fitness studio owners in a rivals to lovers theme. I really enjoyed the struggle of entrepreneurship, while struggling with internal feelings of lust and irritation towards one another. The multiple POV was perfectly done in a way that kept me reading. I enjoyed the overall character arch and themes. This is a great read if you're into fitness, red heads, and the slow burn romance!

An entertaining story that was filled with humorous dialogue and laugh out loud moments. The author outdid herself with the immensely memorable story. I didn’t recall reading the first book and read that one first. I found that it wasn’t totally necessary but why not when it was so much fun. An enjoyable story.
Aw! I loved this story. Enemies to lovers is a favourite trope of mine and this didn’t disappoint. I loved the witty banter and sassy inner monologue of Taylor and the sweet but driven Malcom. This is exactly the kind of romcom-style book I’m in the mood for right now and it delivers exactly what it promises.

This story is really well written, has characters that are created with tantalizing depth and captivating story line.
Do yourself a favor and get this one. It is worth every penny.

This book killed me! The opposites attract, yet are they really opposites attract? I don't think so. The back and forth had me wondering what would happen. These characters certainly have their flaws. In fact, these two complement each other. A match made in heaven. I highly recommend it!

What a great read! Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and Hustle did it justice!
What’s nice is you can enjoy this book without reading the first book in the series because that is what I did. But now I definitely want to read all the rest.
Plus, I need more Dan in my life. He’s the best.
I also enjoyed all the pop culture references- those brought me joy! It is an open door/steamy read.
Jenny Bunting is a talented author and I can’t wait to read more of her work!
