Tough as nails Scarlet, Hollywood agent to the stars is looking for a change of pace since visiting her star client, Heather, in Colorado. On Heather and her husband’s recommendation she uses Sean the owner of Tuff Built to remodel her fixer-upper. There is just one catch, Sean has been eyeing the same place since it went on the market. These two undoubtedly clash from the beginning but there is a lot of sexual tension between them. Steamy and sexy read and I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

We’re back with the Tuff Built crew. This time, it’s the owner Sean who will be renovating a home that Scarlett, Heather’s bestie & agent from Big Deck, just bought. And once again, not the best first meeting (though it eventually turns super hot 🔥). Once they work out their differences (and their sexual chemistry, which they have an abundance of) they work and play together wonderfully. A short and sexy book, with two people from two different worlds making the ultimate connection ❤️

Wow! This book is seriously packing some heat!
Sean is all big, brooding, sexy alpha and every girl needs to fall for a guy like him. Scarlett is full of sass and spark. They are super hot together.
It’s a quick, fun, steamy story. Didn’t realise there’s another book before this one so definitely going back to read that.
Highly recommend if your looking to escape for an hour. Enjoy!

I liked this story. Solid 4 stars
The word choice was pretty repetitive, especially during intimate scenes. I counted and the words "moan" and "growl" were used 75 times each. That's a lot in this short story. Just throwing that out there.
I enjoyed the storyline though.

I really enjoyed book 1 in this series. (They can each be read on there own.) But this one lacked something and I didn’t really enjoy it. I can’t pin point what though.
3.5 stars for me.

This one was one of my first books by Jagger. The stories he writes now are quite more lengthy and quite more dangerous. This was a shorter read but by no means is it not hot! The writing is great and these times were fun but still so entertaining! The characters are both likable and this h was a verbal match for this hothead. And this hot head didn't get a chance to cool down when around or even thinking about this lady!
He was there to fix up a house for a client. A house he wanted for himself. But it was bought by star and someone he was so attracted to. He opened his mouth at the wrong time and they clashed. But more was simmering beneath the surface.
This was different from his newer books like I said, I never knew he was going in that direction. I honestly love BOTH this older book and his newer works. I never compare length and category when leaving my reviews for anyone. It would be unfair. I'm a book lover but obviously mostly of romance books. That being said, for me doing so would be like comparing a Sesame Street book to From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler to the Sweet Valley books to Shel Silverstein's poems. If the Transformers had books and maybe they do, I consider it on it's own. I personally wish Jagger also still did these kinds of books because they are also so good and really enjoyable in a different way. Annnd still not safe for work! Ha! I'm ok with it. It's a fun escape, and done well with an HEA. Still loving it.

Construction please!
This was a sweet (but not) story that was fairly predictable, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment. What I think I liked the most, and that was a pleasant surprise, was Sean's response to "the problem" that presented itself towards the end of the book. Go Sean! I am kind of sad when I look that there does not seem to actually be anymore "Tuff Built" books even though the afterward from the author says there will be. I'd like to watch the rest of the guys find their "one".

Hot sexy sweet .. They meet couldn't stand each other but fell in lust instantly.. Then realized they had deeper feelings .. Kudos for Sean realizing that Martin was bat crap crazy and not believing the words coming out of his mouth and believing her instead it was refreshing

Fast and hot
These quick short storys are so hot. I've read a couple of Jagger's books now and there good. Some miss prints here and there but not too bad. I do hope Jackson gets his own story next. Gotta love big hot sexy men.

All Great Stories
I have read 5 of Mr. Coles ' books and loved them all. They are quick reads, usually and quite entertaining! Love the OTT MMC and the feisty MFC. In this one I actually heard the southern charm in Sean's voice. Highly recommend for a great, fun read.

Sean and Scarlett do not have a very good start when they first meet, but neither can deny their attraction towards the other. I love the fact that Sean really hated the idea of Scarlett at the beginning since she outbidded Sean's dream house. His hatred didn't last long, though, when he finally met her and his lust exploded for her.
As always, Jagger Cole finds a way to write a fast read, full of intense passion, and a conflicting plot. The situation with Martin was messed up but I'm glad Sean was able to save the day.
I'm hoping that the other workers at Tuff Built will get their own story?!? Jackson?? That is my hope!
I'm glad I got to read this and now I'm on my way to reading my other Jagger Cole novels that I bought :)

Another fabulously fun, flirty and plenty dirty short read from Jagger Cole, that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Scarlet and Sean were very likeable and certainly had amazing chemistry. Their insta attraction was off the charts but the scathing and sharp banter between them makes this almost an enemies to lovers trope.
It packed a lot of punch for a short story, without losing any depth or detail. The support characters, some we’ve met in the first book in Hollis and Heather, add a nice connection and only make the story more enjoyable.
Worth the read for the ever sexy carpenter Sean and his scorching hot spitfire Scarlet.

I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.
Man, I was soo looking forward to this book and I was not disappointed. Sean and Scarlett start on fire with their attitude and snappy comebacks and the heat level continues to rise. Sean is a good guy that's been scorned in the past and Scarlett is a no nonsense chick that gets it done. There a couple of places where I laughed. I started this book in between my break of cleaning and the break lasted a lot longer. Lol.
I am excited for the future books, of this Tuff crew but also by the author.

I received an arc for an honest review. This book features Sean and Scarlett. They always say that opposites attract, and in this case, that is so true. Scarlett is a LA famous girl, and Sean is a blue collar worker, who loves the quiet life in Colorado. Sean is working on Scarlett's new home in Aspen, a home that he originally wanted to buy. Upon their first meeting, things go from arguing to hot sex. And that sex continues throughout the book. There is also a great storyline and I HIGHLY recommend this book.

I received a copy of Hard Screw as an ARC and I was not disappointed. Hot, sexy and always a new twist on a story, Cole does not let his readers down. Although not a sequel to Big Deck, Scarlett is the best friend of Heather and Sean is Hollis’ boss. It does bring back Heather and Hollis in cameos. And wow – maybe we aren’t done yet. There are still hot guys in Aspen that have yet to find their true loves, and Hard Screw reveals that just maybe there will be a branch of Sean’s company, Tuff Built, in Los Angeles? Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Hard Screw was another fun read from Jagger Cole. After reading Big Deck I was looking froward to Sean and Scarlett’s book.
While it was as entertaining, hot and dirtily sexy as the first book in the Tuff Built series, it didn’t grab my attention quite the same as Hollis & Heather’s story did, not sure why, but nevertheless, I still enjoyed this romp.
I did like how Sean dealt with the issue that came up between them and the problems that it could have caused. I’m looking forward to more from Mr Cole and hope this isn’t the last in the Tuff Built books.

Scarlett is Heather's agent agent to the stars, she fell in love with Colorado while visiting Heather and her husband . She bought this run down house and needed a contractor and she hired Sean Tuff, Heather's husband' boss. When they meet the first time it is explosive and what they have is scorching hot chemistry that can burn down a house! This insta love, delightfully sexy story will keep you entertained with it's great characters and story. I honestly volunteered to review this arc.

I received this ARC for the second book in the "Tuff Built" series, HARD SCREW, by Jagger Cole. It's a fun, flirty, opposites attract storyline. Oh, and of course, let me not forget to mention that it's an instant attraction so things move along at a rather quickly. It was an enjoyable getaway for the afternoon.
