READ IT AS A STANDALONE

And as you may already have guessed, being nouveau I no idea about the depth of the plot or the charcters or what I was getting myself into. But I opted for this one anyways, solely based on the tags and the reviews

🚦FIRST Impression;

🔸️ My feelings towards Donatello is still bitter, and the fact that I read previous reviews and got this glimpses of his escapades, didn't really help.
Sure I cried for him when I thought he was DEAD. But the fact that his POV was missing has to be one of the major reason why I couldn't connect with him. He came off to me as selfish, cold and for a guy whose reputation preceeded him as dangerous, only to have him accept his dead without ANY resistance ...? OUCH!!


🔹️ Delaney, oh his vita mia,where to start with thou ?

Did I mentioned, I am so happy to not have read the previous book ?
Hear me out : I usually prefer Woman with elusive and strong personality. So naturally, I don't like girls pinning over and over and over a man who is a stainless dick to them, but she keeps scraping off his shoe, lying to herself at the same time, that this would be the last time she is riding him home.
And I believe Dey throughout was in that "HEART WANTS WHAT IT WANTS" phase. Which surely would have annoyed the hell out of me.

So, better yet, just shed things that piss me off.


🔸️ And last but not the least, there is Jessie.

Helped mend a heart he didn’t break. I fell in love with Jessie that first time he let me cry on his shoulder over another man. I just didn’t know it until it was too late.

I mean, I'll give this man "the best of 75%". Out of all the characters, He sure is my fav. But can you believe he holds the record with just 70's?
Talk about expectation!




All in all, excited for the next book, eager to see where it would take me. I genuinely wasn't expecting this to be what it is, so one extra star for the suprise.
And is it just me or upcoming plot will be driving the 🚫MFM vehicle ?

If anyone knows how to hit you with a plot twist it’s AJ.. Woah! I didn’t know what I was expecting but this was not it! If you think you have an inkling of what this book entails! You’re wrong! AJ threw Cliche out the window and just spun a love triangle trope on its axis! If you read a new book this summer, make it this one! This is a Must read!

AJ didn’t waste any time in throwing us in the deep-end!! I had only just about started it and I was already stressed...

YESS! JESSIE IS BACK!! & he came back for something he shouldn’t have left behind, his Laney girl! The problem is Delaney is still very much in a loving relationship with Donatello. I know right! talk about stresss!! But also 😍swoooooooon😍 Jessie... Donatello... Jessie... Donatello!

Have you read the first two books in the Bloody Business Series?! My Girl is book 3 and AJ did it AGAIN!!! This was utter delicious, sauciness!!! I’ve been dying for Jessie’s story!! Literally holding my breath!! And it couldn’t have been better or more beautiful or more ugly

Every interaction between Jessie and Delaney and my heart stuttered!! I’m soo happy he finally got his fighting chance.. But also he’s not on a fair playing field with, Donatello! OH gosh! He’s super dark, twisted and sexxy!! His relationship with Delaney is still whitty, cute and literally couple goals. What the hell type of dilemma is this?! &then to add fuel to my indecision, Jessie came back with absolute swagger in his every step, he’s such a dark horse & the glimpses we saw of him in My Life doesn’t even scratch the surface.

I literally finished this book in a couple of hours!! I was so upset, like I need more, don’t think I could get enough of these books and can’t wait for what AJ has install for us next!!

So, this book was an incredible ride and a delicious read.
Just to warn you in advance, it's a love triangle book with cheating involved (a major one). So if you have issues with that don't read it to leave a bad review. I hate that.

We all know three’s a crowd, some will say you can't love two men at the same time, but Delaney Girl/ Vita Mia will show you that you can. They are both appealing in their own way so you just don't know who to root for.
One love was toxically passionate yet she craved for it, the other one was sweet and tender and just what she needed at that time.
To be able to understand completely this book you need to read - My Life - book2 in this series AJ created.

She loved him first, she will always love him but she never thought she would love another one. The one who helped her heal her heart after she was heartbroken and losing her mind. Her heart will lead her to a love that will transform her life. Who it will be!? - ”I want to be your girl. You were always meant to be my girl.”

Looking for a complex love story - look no further. This book was completely unexpected, delightful, and heartbreaking - all at once.

OH EM GEE!!!! My Girl BROKE ME!!! This book was EVERYTHING!!!! It was so incredibly good! I could not put it down.
I don’t want to go in to it too much as I don’t want to give anything away but my husband had to ask me if I was ok on numerous occasions because I was no joke yelling abuse out loud.
My boy Jessie is back for his girl and boy does he come with a shocking revelation!
If you loved Donatello in My Life, be prepared to have your heart broken because you will learn to dislike him really quick! We get to see another side to him and it ain’t roses!
Delaney! Delaney, Delaney, Delaney! What are we going to do with this girl. You can’t blame her for all the chances she gives Donatello. She loves him. But she is so naive at times! I just wanna slap her silly! My heart broke for her so many times but in the end, as hard as it was, she grew her lady balls and turned in to the bad ass we knew she could be!
My Girl was my favourite book out of the Bloody Business series. It was emotion packed and had me laughing, crying, yelling abuse, throwing my kindle and burying my head in the pillow. But most importantly, it had me falling in love with all of the characters all over again! Except Donatello - that’s definitely a love to hate relationship now!
At one point (you will know it when you get to it), I actually didn’t think my heart could take anymore. My husband told me in a gentle tone to put my kindle down and take a walk 😂
But hey! That’s what an amazing book does to you. IT DESTROYS YOU!!!! I am now left with one hell of a book hangover that I don’t know how on earth I am going to get over!

I beta read My Girl and it is my absolute favorite of the series! Secrets are revealed, there’s a lot more emotion, it’s sexy and Jessie m’fin Mariani is everything! I seriously love that man so much.

We met him in My Life and I fell for him right away. He was everything Delaney needed when she didn’t even know she needed it. All he has ever wanted is what’s best for her and you can’t say the same about someone else in her life *cough cough*

So let’s talk Donatello. I don’t hate him, but I don’t love him either. He has this air about him that draws you in, but he’s toxic in every sense of the word. I don’t doubt for a single second that he loves Delaney, but he continues to be shady and hide things so it makes it hard to be on team Donatello.

So yes, this book is a love triangle, but AJ doesn’t do the characters dirty. Yes, it hurts at times, but I also got all the feels!

Also we get to see more of Remy and why he is the head of the mafia— which I loved!

But my favorite part is getting more of Jessie after only seeing a glimpse of him in My Life!

This book was highly entertaining. Delaney is caught between two men she loves, her obsession for Donatello and her need for Jessie. Secrets are unveiled and trust me you will be surprised by the outcome. I highly recommend reading the Bloody Business Series, you won't regret it! My Girl by A.J. This series sucked me in from the first book. And as the story unfolds - WOWZA - steaminess, betrayal, secrets and so many other things will throw you for a loop. AJ Wolf has written a mafia romance that absolutely make you a lover of all of her books.

This book was perfection. The lust. The lies. The rules. It all lays everything out there and you will be holding on to see what happens next. The author did an amazing job at developing her characters, making them have to keep secrets and betray the ones they love.

I completely loved Wolf. You will fall in love too! He is such a complex character who will have you questioning what you thought. Wolf will have to make tough decisions that might or might not go his way and create a future for him. Donatello - I have yet to figure out what I feel for him. These two will get your blood pumping and make you want to throw some punches.

Add Delaney in there and WOW!! She is one strong, amazing woman who has to pick herself up off the floor more than once over a man. She tries to deny herself of her feelings, but the heart wants what the heart wants.

These three will take you on a ride you won’t even guess. There are so many loops and twists to their story you will be holding on. I highly recommend this series and this author!! Amazing 5+ ⭐️ Read!!

I am so glad AJ did not leave me hanging where Jessie was concerned. That being said...Wow, I did not expect to be surprised like that in the first chapter. I was all over the place with this book..literally jumping out of my seat and yelling things at my husband. Loved, loved, loved all of it. Kept me guessing all the way through.

My Girl by AJ Wolf is a love triangle/ age gap/ dark mafia romance and is the third book in the Bloody Business series. Book 2 - My Life - must be read in order to understand story line and book 1 - My Heart - is recommended to better understand the story line.

Delaney may think Donatello is what she wants but Jessie believes he’s everything she needs - she just doesn’t know it yet. So what happens when Jessie decides to come back and take back the one person he should have never let walk away? Will she stay with the the man who has already broken her multiple times, or leave him for the man who let her go?

This book right here is everything !! It shocked me, shattered my soul, broke my heart, and then but me back together again. Love triangles are often difficult to write well without adding the element of dark romance to it but AJ Wolf has executed it beautifully. If I could give this series more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend reading this series, and can’t wait to see what else AJ Wolf has in store for us. Once again going to recommend making sure you have wine (or some form of alcohol) with you, cause you’re gonna need it.

I was provided an early copy

To begin I would say this book will make you scream and curse like a sailor, I jump into it blindly because I didn’t read the blurb so when I’ve discovered it was Delaney and Don again I was happy, plus Jessie I was lost.

I really like the story, it was intense I can still feel the rage of Donatello, and Jessie manipulating all of this, ok I understand he wants her back. But even if I hate D and how she suffered in her first book my mind can’t accept this. I’ve end up telling my book, are you playing with my god damn mind now young lady.

I wanted to kill each of them and basta. Donatello was an asshole his relationship with Delaney was fucked up, but In this book I tried to appreciate him, like who would survive what she did without a fight. I can finally say I don’t like Delaney that it, using the past to do thing.

It’s not my cup of tea, I liked her a lot in the other book but she kinda made me hate her with my all heart, just using the past to cheat on Donatello come on. The author played me, I took a lot of break, but the end let’s not talk about it.

Maybe I missed something.

My Girl by A.J. Wolf is book three in the Bloody Business series and boy is it a page turner. If you’ve read the previous book ‘My Life’, you would have been introduced to the characters Delaney, Donatello and Jessie, well their back and breaking our hearts all over again.

Delaney and Donatello are together having fought the pull for a number of years and although there is some extremely hot chemistry, Delaney also has feelings for her best friend Jessie…can we say drama! Herein lies the problem, how can she love two men and who does her heart really belong too?

This story is full of angst, heartbreak and some unbelievable moments where people need to check themselves! There are so many secrets, lies and drama that keep you turning the page and wondering how Delaney is going to make a decision but also how she reflects on being the cause of some of the problems. The scenes between her and her brother Remy are tough to read as even though she is family, she is also part of the ‘Family’ where decisions are not easily made and can affect everyone.

This book certainly makes you feel all the feels, whilst making you a little annoyed with some characters and their reaction to situations. I’m totally team Jessie though! Scenes between all three characters are steamy, romantic and at times domineering, leaving you wanting more of this saga and more by the fabulous writer A.J. Fox. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

Alright, y’all mafia romances are not my go to. Some of them just feel too cliche for me or they are trying too hard. Nope, not this series. AJ Wolf is killing the game. Plus, I am so freaking in love with Remy. Omggggg, go read My Heart if you haven’t already. He is bae. But this book focuses on Jessie and his pursuit of Delaney.

Y’all I am OBSESSED with Jessie, I love love love him. He is dreamy, I loved him in My Life but ugh I loved him so much more in this one. He is so sweet but also so badass. His strength is admirable but he also has so much grace and a certain finesse. No broody meathead here.

Delaney, precious Delaney. Slightly stupid Delaney. Kay, I am going to be honest I have a love/hate relationship with her. There are instances when I absolutely adored her and totally felt for her but there are moments where I could not eye roll any harder, like girl how dumb can you be?! She is young though and she is just trying to figure things out, so I’ll cut the girl some slack. Plus her relationship with Remy makes my heart happy.

This story took me for a ride, I enjoyed that it was not predictable and didn’t feel generic to me. I typically don’t love love triangles, but this one surprised me. I can’t wait to see what AJ has planned for us next. I am definitely a lifelong fan.

I HIGHLY recommend reading both My Heart and My Life before jumping into My Girl because the previous books will provide a lot of the background into the characters and the overall story. That being said My Girl was FANTASTIC and NOTHING like I was expecting. I went into the story thinking it would end a certain way, then when I started reading, I slightly changed my mind, then back to my original thought. Needless to say, I was constantly guessing the entire way through.

Delaney is with Donatello, the man she has wanted for years. Jessie is her best friend and source of comfort for her when times were tough. However, there is something more there. Delaney has chemistry with Donatello and Jessie, she loves both men, she wants both me, but which one will ultimately win the girl?

This one has been my favorite of the entire series. I loved that there were some scenes with Remy and Bev and their family. It had me guessing, on the edge of my seat, laughing, and getting emotional. I loved every single moment of this story and I wasn’t ready for it to end.

If you love Mafia romances check out the Bloody Business series, because it is a MUST READ!

This is the third book in the Bloody Business Book Series.
I absolutely love AJ Wolf
And her writing. This though, was my least favorite book of the series. I did love so many things about it.

The character development in Delaney was amazing. There is much emotion, secrets revealed, and shows a different side of Jessie, not so much a different side, just the side of him Delaney ( and us as readers) never knew about.

Love triangles..... always so complicated, even more so when you're Donatello, Delaney & Jessie....I am still team Donatello despite what happened in the book. I can understand Delaney feeling as she did, she lived both men for different reasons.

We also get to see a side of Remy we never did before, as the head of the mafia.

AJ did an excellent job with this book. I've always said she puts so much passion into her characters that it makes you love the book more!

Definitely suggest the book, but you need to read the full trilogy to understand it all.

It was a good continuation of the Bloody business books. Somethings were a little predictable but still worth the read.

Jessie Wolf is sick of being second best to Donatello, he needs Delaney to see him for the great guy he is, the guy who would move heaven and earth for her.
Delaney is stuck, how did life get so tangled? She thought she had it all with Donatello she believed they were doing so much better now.
Donatello will not back down Delaney is his Vita mia, no one will get in the way of that. He finally has everything he ever wanted until suddenly the past comes back and bites him in the ass.

Will Jessie finally get his girl? Will Delaney make it out unscathed? Will Donatello let his vita mia go?

I so did not see that coming! A.J. Wolf gutted me with this book! Talk about a love triangle from h#ll! I was consumed with a love/hate relationship with both men. The author definitely keeps you on your toes not knowing which way is up or down.

One minute I'm crying, the next I'm laughing and the next I wanted to throw my phone across the room. Then repeat a thousand times! It definitely gives you all the feels and I'm hoping for another book to see the female characters growth.

Honestly this book deserves more than 5 stars. This book dragged me through sooo many emotions it’s ridiculous. If I’m being honest I’m still not ok this series is def one of my favs. I laughed cried & cried & cried lmao. I literally feel Delaneys pain because you can’t help but have a soft spot for Donatello and love Jessie. This is a damn near impossible choice she has to make and I’m just glad it ain’t me having to make this choice.
I highly recommend this whole series starting with my heart. If you started the series what are your thoughts ? Are you team Donatello or team Jessie ?

This is the 3rd book in the Bloody Business Series. I have absolutely loved each and every book in this series. While the 1st book in the series, My Heart was my favorite, both the 2nd and 3rd book in the series take a close second in my eyes. This 3rd book centers on characters that we met in the 1st and 2cnd book, Delaney and Donatello, and thankfully brought back Delaney's 2cnd love interest Jessie from book 2. What Delaney doesn't understand is that Jessie is already completely in love with her, and he only broke up with her because he was forced to. Not only that, but Jessie's keeping an even bigger secret from Delaney, what he really does for a living. He's not really the mild mannered college boy she thought he was. AJ creates wonderful, interesting, well developed characters in a Mafia World that verily leaps to life from the page! My life is the farthest thing from AJ's Mafia Family, but she makes Remy, Beverly, Dylan, Delaney, Donatello, Jessie, and all her made-men like members of my own family! I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest review.

Ahhhhh.... my heart!


I’m at a loss for words really! This story -
Delaney’s story - put me through the emotional wringer! I’m new to AJ Wolf and I typically avoid love triangles because I hate when you get to the end and the main character picks the “other” one 😂 buuuutttt.... I loved how this book was written! It had me turning the pages and even my heart was not sure who Delaney should be with.....

Without spoiling too much of the story.... Delaney is the younger sister of the Capo Famiglia and despite having this connection - shes always just “outside” the loop. Everyone around her has secrets and knows much more about what’s going on, while her heart is just trying to find its peace. Donatello is her brother’s main man..... and the older man who captures her attention and steals her heart at just 18. But he’s also a broken man and he can’t help but hurt her. When he does this one too many times... she meets Jessie... the man who puts her back together and heals the heart he didn’t break. But Jessie is not what he seems either.

The story of Delaney’s journey to finding peace and her place will make you laugh, make you cry, break your heart, put it together, break it again and leave you with a roller coaster of emotions. The angst is raw. But those are the best stories aren’t they? The ones that grab you by the heart and won’t let you put them down until you get to the end..... I don’t know how I feel about the ending but then again, I’m not sure I would have been completely happy whichever way it went because I was emotionally invested all over the place ❤️.

Laney finds herself in a very difficult situation, two guys, one with whom she has had a troubled past and the other one is always been a fortress in sad times. But she is blinded by the love of Donatello to leave him to pursue something with Jessie.

Jessie won’t just leave her, he loves her and wants for her to see the real Donatello so he can swoop right in, but are things going to go his way?...

I think I need to explain that I’m a full time crier 😆 I let my feelings roll, so with this book I was ballin my eyes out! You see the hard times she goes through and it hurts. No one is perfect but there is so much the heart can take before you pick yourself up and start a new you. I loved that about Laney she does come to her senses, it has a HEA.

Top notch A.J. Hopefully we get a little bit more soon.

My girl is the highly anticipated 3rd book in the Blood Business series. It centers on Delaney Luciano and her two love interests, Jessie and Donatello. Ugh. I was dying for this love triangle and AJ delivered all the angst and passion I was looking forward to! The characters weren’t perfect, Delaney was at times frustrating and each of the male MCs needed a good throttle(one in particular) but they were REAL and made you feel what they were going through in this book. I loved getting lost in Delaney’s struggle and I’m soooo happy with how it ended!

P.S. You’ll need to have read atleast book 2 in the series to understand what goes down in this book.
