Não há nem como descrever o quão sensacional é este livro. Ponto Positivo: Esse é o tipo de livro que explica exatamente o que se deve ser explicado em astrologia, a linguagem , o resto é bobagem. Mesmo que depois de duas décadas ele esteja um pouco desatualizado com as “novas regras ortográficas e sintáticas” da astrologia e que talvez não seja tão indicado para os completamente leigos no assunto. Para os leigos, recomendo o livro de Olavo de Carvalho sobre astrologia, onde ele explica a filosofia de que consiste tal linguagem.

Ponto negativo: Certas exemplificações que lembravam horóscopo de jornal, o mesmo se aplica a exemplicações relativas a arquétipos de nações (no caso os autores foram mais incisivos com a história americana) que são válidas em certo aspecto, mas também acabam ajudando a dar uma má reputação à linguagem astrológica, somada à atitude dos leigos já que perguntar se tal pessoa acredita em astrologia faz tanto sentido quanto perguntar se acredita na linguagem russa ou japonesa, no ateísmo, no teísmo, panteísmo ou no filhadaputismo. Se foi expressada se torna imediatamente uma linguagem, colocar isso em questão é o mesmo que um inglês dizer para um frânces que a língua dele não existe e tentar fazê-lo entender que só existe a língua inglesa no mundo.

This book helps to connect more deeply with each sign and planet, and that's important as we interact with all signs and planets in different ways and for different experiences throughout life.

Though much of the basic mythological information was already familiar to me, as I've studied mythology before, it's good to have it all in one place, and the associations with planets and signs make for a good reference book. There's also interesting information in here that I wasn't aware of.

I enjoyed this read so much. I learned a great deal, and was super appreciative that this wasn't another general astrology book with a generic list of personality traits assigned to each zodiac sign.
