Duke and Brody are two dogs who are very different-- they seem to like the opposite of everything. One likes summer, the other winter and they even are very different physically-- one big the other little; one with a loud bark, shrill bark, the other with a deep, rumbly one. At first they don't like each other much, but soon become best friends in spite of differences.
My grandchildren and I enjoyed this cute book with its lesson to look beyond what we see to discover a new friend. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review-- thank you!

A very cute story about two lovable dogs who became best friends. Its heart warming to see how even though they are different they learn to love one another. It sends a great message to young ones just learning to read.

This was a cute tale of two dogs who didn't know what to think of each other at first and then became great friends. This realistic fiction story provides a good analogy for kids and tells a familiar story: Once we know each other, most of us appreciate and enjoy each other. The illustrations were sweet and true to life. I would recommend this for kids with pets, kids contemplating getting a pet or adding a new pet member to their family.

A great book for very young readers. It also presents an opportunity to acclimatize children to verb tenses. Loved the illustrations!
