It's not my usual genre but from time to time I like to read different styles and there were some funny parts in this but I'm not sure if I needed to have read the other books in the series first or if it can be read as a stand alone book. I would like to thank the publishers and netgalley for letting me have the book to review and the opinions expressed are entirely my own views and are completely unbiased.

A quick and witty read, I enjoyed the frequent use of Scots colloquialisms - and the Glossary at the beginning for those not so au fait with the patter. "Panto Girl" is an enjoyable comedy and this is the perfect time of year to get stuck into the exploits of the residents and visitors in Lochgilphead. Kerrie Noor portays small village life with accuracy and aplomb.
