Vegas Fae #8
Not My Fae
It's good to be a God... until you're not.
Robert Hoskins was once a High Fae and the God of Hades. But now he's human again, having been stripped of his powers by the Goddess Gaea and sent to an alternative Las Vegas where the Fae rule with an iron fist and magic is the law of the land. Gaea sent him here for a reason, and if he ever wants to get home, he'll have to find out why. That's not an easy task when you're constantly fighting Demons, Demi-Gods, and other assorted nasties.
Working as a cop in this Sin City isn't easy, especially when you've lost your powers.
With a conclave of Fallen Angels and Demons with Satan at their helm converging on Las Vegas for a historic meeting with the Church, Robert will have to use all his knowledge and resourcefulness to stay one step ahead of the forces bent on stopping it at all costs, or at least so it seems. The only bright spot is that he won't be doing it alone. He'll have the Fae Hound Karalos at his side--AKA: his trusted dog Charlie. Robert may no longer be a God, but even the Devil knows you never come between a man and his dog.
The adventures of Robert Hoskins continue in Not my Fae, book #8 in the Vegas Fae Stories. It's another rip-roaring journey through a world seldom seen and even less understood.
Mixing mythical creatures and ancient gods with an alternate Las Vegas and intriguing police procedural action, Tom Keller is the author of thrilling and fun fantasy adventure.

About the author
Tom Keller
12 books111 followersTom Keller is a retired cop and former computer forensics expert and Federal Public Defender investigator. Back in the early days he was a busboy, a cook, and a shoe and real estate salesman. He's taught courses at the local Community College as well as lectured to others in his field on a variety of topics. He lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. A place he's called home for over 40 years.
He had a website design business back in the days when you still accessed the Internet by modem. He's sold model airplanes and electronics on the web and eBay. He even had his own TV show for a season or two (okay, it was really low budget, better call it no budget, and it was on UHF for those of you that remember those kinds of things. But, hey, it did snag a 2.0 share one episode). He collects toy space guns, lunch boxes, and coffee cups, among other memorabilia. If he had a personal card it’d probably say something like ‘specialist in generalities,’ or as his brother would say, polymath.
Tom is still married to his college sweetheart and spends his free time with his family and spare time writing. He is a member of the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America.

I think there was a plot in this book, but for the life of me, I have no idea what it was.
The author gives us a fight with the s**t demons, but no resolution with anything else. What about the story line with the Church and Satan? How about Robert getting back to his own universe? How about finding out what Gaea was up to? Anything other than the s**t demons?
I'm really glad I got all these books on Kindle Unlimited because I would have hated to pay for a series that just went nowhere.

great book but needs serious proofreading and editing
I love this series, the characters are complex and interesting and the story moves quickly without becoming dull. I think he’s a great writer but the editor/proofreader must have been on vacation. I know it’s nit picky but the errors are distracting and I guess I expected better. Running a manuscript through spellcheck is just not enough.

Great As Always
Tom Keller has a talent for making a variety of characters feel like real people. That's the tru heart of my interest in any story. This series has evolved in multiple interesting directions over time. Who knows what Games will do next? I can't wait to find out!

Continuing the alternate worlds adventure
The police procedures combined with Robert's knowledge from his world continue to make this an intriguing story. The cast of characters has been expanded or changed. A fun, intrigue filled urban fantasy with angels, demons, pseudo gods and a lot of magical action.

Big Fan!
So glad I finally got a chance to catch up! I think knocking Robert down is a good way to keep things going, and I hope that what Gaea has in store for him is worth it. I'm definitely looking forward to future stories!

Just act 2.
Robert's continued adventures in alternate fantasy Las Vegas.
He has realised that this Robert isn't quite himself. He disapproves. The question is, will he learn anything about himself?
On to act 3.

Excellent
This was an exciting sequel to the seventh book in the series. Like the other, it was exciting, sit on the edge of your seat, type of excitement. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Another great read in the "other" Robert's trials in a world not his own. Enjoyable, well done, good presentation. Note: 4 stsrs to me is for an author not yet at the level of Weber, Bujold, Flynn, Edelheir, Conroe and other outstanding writers, but getting close. Really don't like the 5 star rating scheme...

Not my Fae is one of my new favorite faes
Another entertaining read in the world of Robert and Charlie. Enjoyed the change of worlds and Robert trying to figure out the why’s of where he is and what he needs to do.

Love this series...
Not sure what exactly it is about this series that I love so much, but it is a favorite of mine.
Looking forward to the next even more than I was preparing for this. Love it, thanks Tom.

Every bit as engaging as the previous seven. Can't wait for the next! So everyone harass Tom to get writing!
