I cannot believe how much I loved this book.

This is a women's fiction/romance book. This is about a writer that cannot write, so she goes to France looking for a muse to help her write. Her daughter is also in France, and she meets up with her daughter. Her daughter does have Autism. I love the characters in this book, and they are really developed. The plot/storyline was really good. There is not so much drama in this book, but there was a lot of stuff going on. This book

What a lovely book.

Maggie hasn’t been able to even start the third novel in her successful trilogy, and she’s going to miss her deadline, so her agent and his partner suggest that she accompany them to Paris. Her daughter is living there, and by chance, her ex-husband Alan is there to visit their daughter. In addition to Alan, she meets Max, who encourages her to wear clothes other than her scruffy writing outfits and get her hair and nails done. In Paris, she can magically write once again, an

This book was perfect for a nice winter snowy day off to read. It talks about Maggie our MC who is a writer and having a hard time writing and finding her “muse” she’s at her wits end and her agent Lee is basically telling her to get it together and at a last ditch effort to attempt to not prolong her extension another time, has her come to Paris with him and his partner Martin in hopes to spark some creativity and find her muse in where better else but the capi

I requested this book because of the cover which made me think it could be a fun romance story set in France, my home country. In this book, you'll meet Maggie has she has writer's block. She's about to go on a trip to Paris after dumping her now ex-boyfriend who thought his work was more important than hers. When that happened, I was rooting for her.

This book is described as a romantic comedy but I have to say that I didn't find the comedy anywhere in this book. As for the romance, the sort-of

Maggie Finds Her Muse by Dee Ernst. Thanks to @goodreads and @stmartinsgriffin for the gifted Arc ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Maggie is a well-known romance author, but she has writers block and an upcoming major deadline. She takes a trip to Paris for inspiration to write. She finds inspiration for sure, in a handsome French roommate AND her ex-husband who happens to be in the city as well.

I’m not sure how to describe this book besides refreshing. I feel like I had a nice relaxing, romantic trip to Paris myself!

This book was just what I needed when I was going through some tough stuff. I picked it up because our names are the same. I also love a. good story about middle age and having adevntures. It is what I hope to do someday when I get there. Even an adventure in Paris now would be fun if the pandemic was done. I truly found joy in this book and it made me realize the value of enjoying what moments we have and enjoying life each day.

Maggie Bliss has writer’s block on her 3rd book of her trilogy. Her agent Lee suggests her fly to Paris with him and his partner and stay in his family apartment. She decides to do it after she breaks up with her live in boyfriend. Maggie also thinks it’s a great idea because her daughter Nic is in France. Maggie finds her muse is very “How Stella Got Her Groove Back” with a surprising depth of characters that elevated this from your typical romance to a delightful read.

While I cannot fathom having a worldly agent offering me their lavish Parisian house to hole up and write in, I found other aspects, especially the journey and burdens of a writer very relatable.

Dee Ernst scripted a breathtakingly beautiful Parisian culture, from the food, the streets, the arts, the sights, the people, did I ment

A lovely book! As a person who rarely reads romance books, this is beyond expectation.

Maggie Bliss is facing a writer's block for her upcoming book, and her personal life also goes downhill, with Gregg (her boyfriend) treating her as a property or more as a personal assistant to him. These situations had alerted her agent, Lee, and offered her to come with him and his partner to go to Paris with hopes that Maggie will find her “muse”

This was such a charming read. One that I have been looking for out of a romance for a while. Maggie is an older heroine that is in a bit of a writing rut and is having a hard time finding a starting point for the third installment in her very popular romance book series. The third book in this series could potentially change her life, especially after another

Maggie Bliss has a book problem - she needs to finish the 3rd book of her blockbuster romance series, but she has a serious case of writer's block. To top it all off, her partner refuses to sympathize, claiming that his work is more important than hers. After dumping him, she takes an impromptu trip to Paris, hoping to find her inspiration in the city of lights. If she plays her cards right, she may find a little romance for herself.

I wish I could write two separate reviews. I LOVED the first half of the book. I turned the pages eagerly. And I enjoyed that the author cleverly wrote a romance novel to tell her story about the blocked romance writer. The first half I would have given 5 stars. A keeper.

A lighthearted comedic romp! Great characterization, a wonderful Parisian setting and a writer facing a looming deadline makes for an enjoyable reading experience. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments, and the culinary descriptions inspired me to add a trip to France to my bucket list.
I did not love the will-they-or-won't-they subplot between Maggie and her ex-husband.

I like Maggie. She is just lost in her life, unclear on her path but her main goal is finishing her book. I like her focus. The addition of her ex and the Frenchman Max is a nice treat. There’s definitely chemistry between all three but I was routing for one in particular.

Super quick, fun read about an author looking for her muse. Maggie Bliss is stuck on the last book of the trilogy that’s going to make her dreams come true. Looking for her muse and a change of scenery, she goes to Paris and finds more than what she was looking for. Definitely recommend if you like HEA, romantic settings, and some humor thrown in for good measure!

This transporting debut by Dee Ernst is just like the dream vacation to Paris it centers around, full of delicious food and wine, inspiring sites, heartwarming moments with family and friends, and the attentions of more than one male suitor.
