Meira Amon is the most reserved of the phoenixes, finding computers easier to deal with than people and their messy emotions. But she wants revenge against the Rotting King Pytheios for the murder of her parents just as much as her sisters. Offering herself as a queen for their ally, dragon shifter King Gorgon of the Black Clan, only makes sense.

Just one problem…

The battle against the evil red king continues. Now it's the Black clan in the lead and another sister to be wed the king. But wait the dragon in love with her isn't the king. What's going to happen? Lots and lots of drama and adventure along with love to get to the end. Plus some old friends (or enemy's?) from Fire's Edge series make an appearance and help. Of course, the evil red king is still alive, but there is another sister to find her king and hopefully, finally end
Talk about meant to be and caught between a rock and a hard place. Abigail Owen’s THE WARRIOR KING combines a sweet, slow-burn romance and the edgy, fast and furious battles of dragon against dragon.

Meira has offered herself to the king of the Black Clan. Not only has she found herself an honorable leader, but the perfect opportunity to avenge her parents’ deaths.

Samael is the fiercest warrior in the Black Clan, his loyalty to his king has never been questioned, but from the first time he saw th

I want to start by saying that the cover is all wrong. Green? Why green when Samael is a black dragon. He fought hard those green bastards actually. Anyways..moving on. I thought that the 3 rd sister,Meira,is gonna be submissive, meek and voiceless but imagine my surprise when I discovered she was not, and that she was a powerful Phoenix that could stand her own easily. Her power with the glass surface was pretty badass.

Okay, I should have read the first two books before this one, but I figured it out well enough. This book has a different couple than the others so we see their story unfold from the beginning. Meira is the third phoenix sister and it's her turn to mate a dragon king. She's promised to Gorgon, the Black Clan king, but she has an intense attraction to his top warrior Samael.

When things get crazy, Samael takes Meira on the run to keep her safe. In their time together, they explore their bond and

"You may be queen, but I'm the new king."

The author left us hanging big time in the last installment with Miera revealing herself as another Phoenix sister and immediately proposed an alliance with the Black dragon king with herself as the bride in a political marriage of convenience.

Which wouldn't be so shocking in Romancelandia if Miera hadn't already experienced a hot and heavy connection with another dragon guy! *gasp*

Sam just so happens to be Miera's soon to be husband - King Gorgon's
I have received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Just like the previous two books, I devoured The Warrior King. It had so much drama, betrayal, and sexual tension throughout it. Plus, I liked seeing Meira's sisters and Maul in this one. I mean, their mates are cool too. I will admit that I was a smidge sad for Meira in the beginning. Mostly because she was choosing to marry just for the sake of marrying the King of the Black Clan dragons. She didn't find her true mate lik

Another action packed and exciting installment in the Inferno Rising series! This one sees Meira Amon, one of 4 Phoenix sisters, convinced that she should marry the Black Clan King Gorgon, a marriage of convenience for sure but one that is necessary to help the clans in their fight against the Red King Pytheios who is responsible for her parents' demise. But her plans are changed drastically when things beyond her control leave her with Samael Valas, the fiercest warrior of the Black Clan in a f ...more

THE WARRIOR KING is the third book in the Inferno Rising series, and this time it is the time of the Black Clan and Meira. She has promised herself to Gorgon, the King of the Black Clan before she realised that Samael was her mate. Of course, she has been told for years that phoenixes can choose and so she doesn't have quite as much faith in the whole 'fated mates' thing as others do. Samael, on the other hand, does believe in fated mates, but he also believes in loyalty, and so he refuses to do ...more

You guys!!!!!!!!!!!! Why can't I live in this world? I'm so incredibly in love with everything about this world and the characters in it..even the "bad guys". I'm officially requesting to be reincarnated as a Dragon's mate. There. I said it.

To be honest, I"m not entirely sure what number book this is in the series. Mainly because I've read every book in this one as well as the previous series and if I start counting, it means there will be an ending and I"m not ready for all. Yes, I'

THE WARRIOR KING is another fantastic installment in a shifter series. The Inferno Rising series follows four sisters who are phoenixes. Among the dragon shifters, the king of the kings is always the person who is mated by a phoenix - only one exists at a time, until now. Meira has decided to mate the black dragon king for the alliance it would bring with her sisters' mates' clans. The currently self-declared high king has other plans, which include getting rid of the phoenixes and continuing to ...more

After I realized that I started the series way into a world that was already built, I backtracked and now completely understand 100% of what this world really is.

Even without knowing that, these books are well written and informative enough that I did realize I didn’t start at the right point. This is book 4 in this specific series so I do recommend going back to read them all!

This book is about the sweet sister, Meira. The one who loves technology but also loved the medieval lifestyle. Her moth

Thank you Entagled Publishing and NetGalley for providing me an e-arc in exchange for an honest review. My review is my own and not influenced by others.

When I saw this e-arc on Netgalley I couldn’t wait for the book to come out and requested it instantly. The publisher was kind to give me the opportunity to read this e-arc which I’m very thankful for. I’ve read the first two books in this series a while ago and re-read it before I started in this book so the personages and stories were fresh in

The Warrior King was another solid addition to the Inferno Rising series. I liked Meira and Samael well enough, they were both very loyal, duty driven, kind souls. Sometimes that extreme loyalty proved to be difficult when in opposition to their own wants and desires. I think it was just a bit more difficult to connect with these two for me. They spent a lot of time and effort bottling their feelings and closing themselves off which I understand but sometimes outwardly they cam

The fight to take down the Red dragon king, Pytheios rages on as another Phoenix, Meira, is found and set to mate with the Black dragon king, Gorgon. But is it a true mating when there’s obviously mutual feelings between Meira and the dragon warrior guarding the king?

Meira lives for computers, knowing they will give her black and white facts with none of the emotional drama people show. Contrary to her analytical mindset, Meira was a softie, naturally nurturing and protective, and really quite

The Warrior King by Abigail Owen is the third book in the action-packed, exciting and sizzling Inferno Rising series and as the war against the Red King continues, Meira and Samuel must battle more than just their foe as they fight the increasing attraction and sexual chemistry that threatens to waylay their focus. Fabulous! I think this is my favorite so far in the series!

This is Meira's book. She is the quiet sister but OH! Is she fierce! I loved her attitude, her conscience and her loyalty.

Samael is also very loyal. To his King, to his clan and to his new Queen. Al is good except for that pesky fated mates clause that is going to make and already fubar situation skyrocket!

Meira and Sam's story is packed with action. They are everywhere! Meira's ability to move through mirrors helps them escape many b

I really liked The Warrior King. This is a very good series that I have enjoyed reading, I love all the characters. It's nice to read a series that has reoccurring characters, I like the familiarity. In this third book of the series we get to learn more about the third phoenix sister Meira. I thought the story was exciting and I loved Samael Veles, Dragon shifter. The romance is heartfelt and enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next book that will feature the fourth phoenix sister Angelika.

Love this series soooo much, this one was definitely a bit more emotional than the others!

I have so much love for this series and author, and I couldn't wait to get to Meira and Samael's story. Even with the little glimpse that we got of the two in the previous book, I was ready.

I have to say this one wasn't quite what I expected it to since I loved the first two soooo much.

The overall story arc was a huge focus in this one, which left a little for the romance. A

A delightful addition to one of my favorite shifter series! Like all the other books in this series, I finished it in less than a day.

Packed with sexual tension and a romance in which both parties deny the connection due to a sense of duty. It's fast-paced so fortunately, we don't have to see our leads struggle for too long. The thing about this series so far I've liked almost every book about the same. Which honestly a rather impressive feat because often times in series where the
Ok, I just need to tell you how excited I am to read this.
I love this series, I love the spin-off series (Fire’s Edge) and I was very excited to hear Meira (sister to Skylar, Kasia and Angelika) would be next to get a story.
We’ve had Skylar and Kaisa’s stories, just waiting to hear more about Angelika.....

Meira is happy her sisters are all mated. So it’s down to her to suck it up and mate with the Black Dragon King! Is she happy? No, not at all, but with the Rotting Red King Pytheios trying to

In the first book we get a moment when Meira  uses her power to see what her sisters are up to by looking through a mirror. While her power is supposed to be one way, she is caught by one of the dragon warriors that are in the room with her sister. Then when she meets up with her sister, she pledges herself to the black dragon king, only to run right into the dragon who saw her in the mirror. With Meira  pledged to Samael's king, she denies the pull she feels for Samael in order to help join the ...more

Finally I was able to read all about Sam and Meira.
I was so looking forward to reading about these two, as in book 2 the epilogue left me wanting more.

It was so fun to read them because it is so obvious that those two belong together, but their journey for sure was not the easiest. On the one hand Meira, a computer nerd who does not believe in fates and destiny but rather logical choices and then you have Sam, the "I-have-a-Chinese-wall-around-my-heart" dragon, who fights his feelings, his need
