An outstanding adventure that will capture your mind and imagination as intelligence forces deal with AI at it's highest form! Review to come as I come back to earth after this stimulating story!!
This techno-thriller follows up right where the first book,Threat Intelligence, leaves off with so many twists and turns, thrills and amazing skills shown by former Australian Secret Service agent Simon Ashcroft and the American tourist he saves and feels for, Casey Irvine!! With a little help from an AI, they fight through enormous dangers to aid all humanity. The scenes are so well-described, flitting from Mumbai to Australia with amazing descriptions of the scenery they travel through and every little deception and lie that changes their course!
You can read this book as a stand alone but you will definitely benefit from reading 'Threat Intelligence' first. An intriguing story that keeps you thinking, imagining artificial intelligence as it is today, with abilities none of us are sure about...

A mighty clash of Titans, is what it seemed to me, with humanity’s future at stake. The sequel to Threat Intelligence has been beyond my expectations, full of surprises, intrigue and unpleasant discoveries, sinister and deceitful, totally unsuspecting! The mystery surrounding the covert operations are revealed and are so astounding I was snagged from the beginning till end, wanting to know more about the outcome. The world building is exceptional,realistic, jumping from one country to another, so is the tension build. Complex and detailed characters represent real life figures, bringing them all together in a striking showdown. Mr. Bailey touches very sensitive and ever present world’s subjects, as economics and overpopulation, poverty, the dominant powerful governments, the deceitful and convenient allies..a frightening reality. A full throttle, action filled experience! This has been on of the best thrillers I’ve ever read, comparable to my favourite classics of the genre, like Alistair McLean, Robert Ludlum..The End is perfect, which left me thinking, with a tingling and overwhelming sensation of stupor! Threat Intelligence #1, is recommended to read first, so as to know how it all started. I sincerely recommend this series!!

A twisted tale of epic proportions
Aiden L. Bailey has done a fantastic job of bringing the seeds he sowed in THREAT INTELLIGENCE to fruition here. This stunning, action-packed techno thriller is every bit the breathtaking conclusion one could wish for but also so much more. A true must read!

Strike Matrix is undoubtedly one of the smartest and scariest action thrillers I have read so far. The blend of horror and action-thriller may be unconventional, but Mr. Bailey does a fantastic job in achieving the right blend of scary and action elements. The scary elements in Strike Matrix stem from the idea of two powerful Artificial Intelligence creations that are at war with each other, using human assets as foot soldiers in their all-consuming war. The ramifications of sentient AI machines as depicted in this book, sent chills down my spine.
Strike Matrix picks up shortly after Threat Intelligence/Benevolent Deception, the first book in the Shatterhand code series. The narrative continues to weave together different characters in different parts of the world, all destined for the same mission. The returning characters, diverse in ways including but not limited to nationality, religion, sexuality, and professions, continue to shine in their own unique tales. Not for a moment did I feel bored or confused with any of the many protagonists of the book. Mr. Bailey’s apt development of the characters allowed me to delve deep into the minds and emotions of the characters, as they try to navigate the bizarre happenings all around the world, as a consequence of two AI beings, one hell-bent on eradicating humans from the face of the world, and one just as determined to preserve humanity and nature.
While the chills of seeing the drastic steps an AI might take to accomplish its goal never left me, the fast paced action sequences gave another jolt of energy. Shootouts, foot chases, hand-to-hand combat, are all very much integral aspects of Strike Matrix. As a huge technical-details nut, I was highly satisfied with the realistic approach to action sequences, with appropriate technical details pertaining to weapon systems for a fun visualization of the shootouts, which gave another layer of authenticity to the gritty world of intelligence portrayed by Mr. Bailey.
Even as an action fan, my favorite aspect of the book was the unpredictability when it came to the actions of the villainous Artificial Intelligence, codenamed Shatterhand. Reading Shatterhand’s sophisticated tricks to unleash its diabolical plan of human existence was nothing short of breathtaking. At the same time, reading how the other AI, codenamed GhostKnife, took steps to save its pawns, the human characters, and take the fight to Shatterhand was akin to visualizing two superpowers play a deadly and smart game of chess. There is never a dull moment in this superb action thriller from beginning to the end.
There is very little doubt Mr. Bailey does an incredible amount of research, especially in location scouting. The descriptions of environments and surroundings in different continents of the world are written so vividly, it would be extremely hard to not be able to visualize the events unfolding in the story in 3D scope. From the slums of Mumbai, to the grand and modern architecture of Abu Dhabi, the details feel lively and captivating.
Without giving anything away, the ending of Strike Matrix is one that would leave readers in deep thought for a long, long time. The twists and turns with Strike Matrix are as unpredictable as the boldest decisions taken by Shatterhand in this book. I highly recommend Strike Matrix to readers, irrespective of an affinity for action-thrillers. Strike Matrix is a read that spans across genres.

What a ride!!!!!! The follow up to Mr. Bailey's Threat Intelligence (formerly titled The Benevolent Deception), Strike Matrix picks up the story of former Australian Secret Intelligence Service agent Simon Ashcroft and American tourist Casey Irvine as they dodge criminal and government forces trying to stop them from discovering the secret of the Shatterhand Code.
Mr. Bailey has the "Flemming Sweep" down cold as the story moves easily from Mumbai, to the U.A.E, to Australia. He also ensured that even if you didn't read Threat Intelligence (though you really should!) you can still pick up what's happened in earlier book without feeling lost. The action scenes are amazing, and the ending will keep you satisfied.

Few authors capture my attention, and stimulate my imagination consistently Aiden L Bailey is one of those authors.
I have read, to date, every book he has published either alone or as a co-author and I have never been disappointed. I have however always been left wanting. Wanting MORE!
“Strike Matrix” is no exception. I for one, and I believe you too after reading, will want More “Simon Ashcroft”.

I’ve read so many great books by Aiden L Bailey, and this is certainly another one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love that the story takes us to a few different countries, and that the action begins right at the start of the book. Simon Ashcroft is a fabulous character, and I really enjoy some of the predicaments he gets himself into. There is nothing better than getting lost between the pages of a great story, and this is definitely one of those.
Simon Ashcroft and Casey Irvine are in all sorts of trouble with a hell of a lot of police, military and intelligent services trying to track them down. Simon had saved Casey from some poachers in Kenya, and now they had a much bigger problem to deal with. They were heading towards Mumbai where you would think they could stay hidden with over 12 million people in the city, but they are going to need to stay off the grid as Shatterhand, an AI sentient computer that sees and hears everything could easily find them. With this computer being able to imitate any human it wants to, it’s almost an impossible task in finding people they can trust. Special Agent Perihan Keser of the United States Secret Service is sure that Simon is responsible for impersonating the President and he’s now one of the most wanted men on the planet. Simon’s other concern is getting back to Australia to see if his family was still alive, but he’s going to have to do everything he can to save humanity and stop Shatterhand. GhostKnife just might be able to help. Great entertainment from start to finish. A fabulous read. 5/5 Star Rating.

Wow what a great book really got into the book and felt right with the story description of the country and places were good got quite emotional towards the end but ended up ok not giving anything away except glad Conner was ok really liked him the ending could be the end but could also continue .Really need to read first book to be able to follow characters are good and a lot of tense moments Author puts his heart in to his books just brill .

Competing against each other. Good versus evil. Billions of people will die of disease, conflict. Until good wins and order is restored. The world is in peace. Or were the two AI'S and illusion created by one ? This is an action packed, thought provoking read. Enjoyed immensely!

Wow. This is one unbelievable story. Cyber attack, stealing the President’s identity. How much more damage can be done, how will it be handled? Impossible to not keep reading. Don’t miss out.

Great finish
Like a Clive Cussler techno-thriller. Plenty of action (my favorite) and it was nice to see the threads from Part 1 come together. Not afraid to lose characters. Throw in a little Bond and you've got a great two-pack.

Plenty of action
Well thought out and written. Characters were interesting and worked together to make a great story. The suspense keeps you engaged.
