Ez volt az első könyvem az írónőtől, ezért nem tudtam, mire számíthatok, viszont a fülszöveg ígéretesnek tűnt, így mindenképpen el szerettem volna olvasni. Nem bántam meg, sőt, a kötet beváltotta a beharangozó által előrevetített írói ígéretet, és még rá is tudott tenni egy lapáttal. Egy szimpla, könnyed romantikus történetre számítottam némi misztikus extrával, ezzel szemben egy rétegelt, érzelemdús regényt kaptam, ahol megfelelő arányban van jelen a humor, a dráma, a romantika és az erotika.

Már így az elején leszögezném, hogy a fülszöveg alapján kevésbé komoly történetre számítottam! Lehet, él bennem egyfajta sztereotípia a hasonló regényekkel szemben. A történetet két nézőpontból, Anna és Josh, valamint két idősíkon, a regény jelenjében, 2025-en, és múltjában 2023-ban követhetjük. Azt hittem, ez rendesen meg fogja keverni a dolgokat olvasás közben, de nem így lett. Világosan követhető mindkét nézőpont és eseményszál.
