I want her to know that other people have these emotions and that its completely ok that she has hers. The ...more
I recently noticed my daughter has come up to the age where she develops emotions. I thought it's very important for her to be able to express them. Then I stumbled across this book. At the beginning she had no idea what was going on. But after a few reads she obviously got it and now every night we would discuss about our feelings and emotions that day. A great tool for parents of toddlers!
When I first time read it to my grandsons. They asked me a lot of questions. I planed to explained to them three letters a day, but they couldn't stop asking me for another one. Every letter lets them explore a new story. It brings them a lot of fun. We love this book. I love all characters in the book. They are very vivid.
What an amazing book filled with gorgeous illustrations! Feelings are often very complicated, but Bonnie describes them in a very clear and engaging way that is fun to read AND educational at the same time. So excited to add this book to my classroom library :)!
