“Hard pass.”
That’s what the last girl I slept with said when she got her first sober glimpse of me. She laughed, walked out of my penthouse—and I never saw her again. It doesn’t matter that I’m a rich, professional athlete; what mattered was my face. Beauty might only be skin deep for some—but I know better.

“Pay up.”
That’s what the last girl I spoke to said over the phone

Hard Pass is the first book in Sara Ney’s new ‘trophy boyfriends’ series and I enjoyed the heck out of it. It’s not your typical sports romance and I loved that it was different.

Noah is a professional baseball player, but he’s not lucky in love. Though he’s tall and in good shape, his confidence has taken a hit after the last woman he was with made some unkind comments about his appearance.
Hard. Pass. Embarrassed and humiliated by those two words, I never breathed a word about i

A different kind of sports romance!

I thought the couple in this book were super cute. This book was extremely humorous, but there were a few things I didn’t like about it. The Hero is a baseball star with an $80 million dollar contract, but he has some serious self esteem issues. He had a girl that he was with sort of laugh at him and say the words “Hard. Pass.” as she was leaving his bedroom when he asked if he would be seeing her again.

I have always said when reading any romance where the

“Because, Miranda, nice guys usually only finish first in the movies. They are not the trophy boyfriends every girl wants.”

A new series from Sara Ney and with some baseball thrown in? SIGN ME THE H*LL UP, I SAY! To say that I've been eagerly anticipating this book may be a mild understatement. Rabid may be an apt description of my need. I've been chomping at the bit to get my hands on this book, so th

Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry and banter between Noah and Miranda was great. What made it stand out, however, was that they weren’t your typical main characters. Noah was struggling with an internal battle a lot of us know too well. Miranda was someone who was open and receptive to people in a way that was beyond skin deep. They had their funny and awkward moments and I enjoyed their connection even though I would’ve liked for it to have been developed a little ...more

I was so excited to get my grabby hands on this. A sports romance from Sara Ney has my one click finger twitching hard. And that blurb had me even more excited. Seriously a jock who isn't full of himself or think he's gods gift is a hero I want to read.

Noah more than met my expectations. He was sensitive without being too soft. And I loved the contradictions of his character, it made him relatable despite his career and bank balance. It was really nice to have the hero as the insecure one for a

A sweet and enjoyable sports romance read.
I was very intrigued by Noah’s character. He was not the typical gorgeous arrogant player I usually read in books. He might had been a pro baseball superstar guy, wealthy, modest, shy and kind, but he was not that good looking.
Noah and Miranda were likeable characters and their romance was lovely.

I would have given more stars to this story but the development was inadequate regarding the plot, the characters, even the epilogue - which was so ab

Cute! I love how Sara Ney writes her characters. They always have flaws and I really appreciate it because sometimes it feels like a lot of fictional characters are cookie cutter perfect and resemble Greek Gods and Goddesses. It’s nice to be reminded that people are painfully average and have insecurities, ya know? Anyway. I wasn’t 100% feeling heaps of chemistry between these two but it was still a cute read nevertheless.

Hard Pass kind of shocked me—adorable and heartwarming, this romance is filled with belly-aching humour, fantastic chemistry and characters outside normative romance characterisation. Sara Ney delivered a memorable collection of characters with interesting quirks and plausible adorableness; the overall cuteness and uncommon nature of this romance is an irresistible combination that will entice readers for certain.

Noah Harding embodies the atypical romance hero we’re unaccustomed to receiving. Ki

Adorable. I’m in love with Noah. I loved this book from the beginning. The premise of this book intrigued me and I love a grumpy guy. Noah was pretty much my perfect man.
Noah is a professional baseball player, but ever since he came into the spotlight he was told her wasn’t good enough looking. He has a terrible view of himself and thinks no one will want him. He finds a rare baseball card that Randi is selling and they start up a conversation. The banter between the two of them left me smiling

I wanted a light, low angst book with a little humour and that is exactly what I got from this book.

I like what the author tried to do. It was something unique. I think I liked this book from the second I read the blurb.
Noah has self esteem issues as you can probably see from reading the blurb. It gets in the way but Miranda fights through all those issues.
I love this couple and wish it would have been a little longer because I didn't want it to end. I loved the easy conversation they had going

Sara Ney offers some MLB types. A tweak here a tweak there and you've read this before. Not conventionally attractive dude meets sassy heroine.

Detail issues.

I'll keep reading Ney, but I do find this increasingly aggravating. There was just nothing to this one. And the groupie / slutv shaming has got to go.

Hard Pass is the first book in the Trophy Boyfriends series. Its a light & fun sports romance with a quirky twist & a hint of mistaken identity. I really enjoyed this one a lot.

Miranda is determined to start her own business at the young age of 22 but to help make her goals happen she needs money and decides to sell some of her Grandpa's prized possession vintage Baseball Cards. She is cute, funny, sassy, adorable and knows what she likes. After texting with a potential buyer she meet

AHHH!! There is nothing more that I love than a Sara Ney sports romance. I've said it again and again but Ney has the magic touch when it comes to the male perspective. She makes her heroes so real and addicting it's crazy.  I absolutely loved Noah and Miranda. Their attraction was palpable and this story honestly had laugh out loud moments. The chemistry  between them was slow burn and delicious and the back and forth banter/texting between them was my low key addiction. Noah and Miranda were S ...more

This was a fun, sweet & sexy read that had me reaching for a "cold drink". There wasn't much drama but there was plenty of laughter, especially when Buzz was involved...No not that kind of "Buzz"😉😁

Noah was a mystery to me. But the more I read, the more I discovered who the real Noah was the more I started rooting for him. Unlike many athletes who were wanting the fame and money Noah was in it for the love of the sport. So when he's told that he's a "Hard Pass" it hurts him more than he ever imag

'Hard Pass' is the first book in the new 'Trophy Boyfriends' series by the amazingly talented author, Sara Ney. She is one of my all-time favorite authors, so I was anxious to get my hands on this one. While I found it to be cute, sweet and funny, it fell a bit short for me. I really liked it and enjoyed it, but I didn't love it like I was expecting to.

Hard Pass is a fisrt read for me, from author Sara Ney. I didn't knew what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised for what I read. I will definitely read her other books.
Noah is a professional baseball player. Hot AF, rich, great player, and definitely not what I was used to see in a hero, cocky, or arrogant. Yeah, he gets plenty of attention for his skill and money, but he is not a ladies man, or a manwhore. He is nice and has many in

Hard Pass by Sara is a sports romance with a unique twist and it's the first book in the Trophy Boyfriends series. Here we have a famous jock who's shy, sensitive and awkward and a sassy, outspoken heroine. Together these two made this story one that I could not stop reading. It was different, flirty and funny, with amusing back and forth banter, some heart-warming moments, some awkward mishaps, and although a slow burn it eventually led to some hott steamy scenes. It’s been nearly 4 weeks now since I last picked up and finished a book; I’ve not even had the urge to read. Last night though my brain decided it wanted to give it another try...so after trawling through Amazon, I stumbled across this new series by Sara Ney. Well, what better book to get me out of that book funk...or so I thought!

ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. It was a really fast read, as it isn't overly long, and the characters were likeable. The only thing I didn't really like was the constant putting down of the hero's looks. I know that's a part of the story and such, but it was a little too much.

Everything else though I really liked. Noah was a sweet guy, although very very awkward. He seemed to overcome that awkwardness pretty fast when things started moving a

This book was so bad! I was like; Who thought this book was a good idea?
In this book we met Noah, he is a professional baseball player, muscular, full of money, but complex because he thinks he is ugly compared to the other players on his team. A psychologist would have a field day with him, well more like months than a day but you get it.
So we met our heroine, imagine the most unsalted girl you’ve ever met, she has no flavor, she’s the typical “I’m not like other girls girl”.

Ok. I am a huge fan normally, and this seemed like something I’d love. I will admit that it is a little cute, but it didn’t have her usual flair. The heroes looks and references to how he has been treated are brought up over and over, after the first few times it just seemed like reaching. A few hurt feelings I could understand, but there are just too many gold diggers and jersey chasers out there for him not have had his ego stroked before. As for most of this story, there really isn’t much

Ok, I have to say Hard Pass is a sport romance but I really like the unique plot. Miranda just graduated college. She wants to start her own business but she doesn’t have the money. Noah decided to sell her grandfather’s baseball cards online to fund this new adventure. Noah is a baseball player who obviously loves everything to do with it. When Noah saw the ad for an extremely reasonable price baseball card he jumped at the chance. The two exchanged texts about the sell, but soon the texts beca ...more

The moment I started reading this book I knew I would love it. I loved this book hard. It’s unconventional and that’s what makes it stand out so much. I DEVOURED it in a matter of hours.

Miranda wants to start her own business, but needs the money. Why not sell some of her grandfathers prized baseball cards? She is sassy, hardworking, and pretty much amazing. Noah is a professional baseball player; he loves collecting baseball memorabilia. He’s shy, awkward and because of his past self-conscious.

This book hit the spot.

It was a quick, fun read filled with heart, sass and quite a few characters I may have wanted to Gibbs smack and hug all at the same time, but also have me looking forward to getting to know them a whole lot better.

I loved Miranda. This woman is all kinds of sweet and sassy. She has no problem speaking her mind ~ even when she doesn’t necessarily mean to. She also knows what she wants her future to look like and isn’t afraid to go after it. Noah. Noah. Noah
