OMG I have been waiting for Wolfe's book since book one. God but I love that crazy ex Navy Seal. I knew his book would be amazing and I was right. From the start of the book, which started with Wolfe in leather at a sex club, I was hooked. Wolfe was sexy, protective and a bit nuts, but oh so yummy. Dana was smart, stubborn, and brave. They were very cute together. I loved the build up to their relationship. Both Dana and Wolfe's backstories were good, detailed and made me feel l

Broken by Rebecca Zanetti
3rd book in the Deep Ops series. Romantic suspense. Can be read as a stand-alone. But don’t miss the full series.

Intense and captivating. Gripping and suspenseful. Sexy hot and emotionally satisfying. An amazing read with a mischievous dog that will cause laughter and gasps.
This author writes great depth into the characters and storylines.
The hero is strong and motivated with a soft heart for the heroine. Sigh.
I can’t wait to read the next in the series.

I’ve loved every one of the books in this series, but I’ve been dying for Wolfe’s story and I was not disappointed!

Wolfe is an interesting character, he’s added a lot of humor to the previous books with his quirky ways and his mysterious past. Although he’s the muscle behind the team, the way he thinks has often led me to think of him as almost innocent. He’s got such a pure heart when it comes to those he loves. And he’s fiercely protective of them as well, especially Dana.

I wasn’t sure if I’

Wolfe has been my favorite since the first book of the series... well, beside Roscoe. Roscoe is on a level all his own. That dog has brought more comedy to this series than any other animal in a book. I adore the animal.

This whole rag tag team is made up of some quirky characters. They have messed up in the eyes of their superiors one way or another. Wolfe is that big scary dude that also has woman wanting to cuddle him like a bear. What can I say, I love the weird. That's a big reason he's been

4 - "I’m not gonna let anybody hurt you… that’s all I have to give." Stars!

We return to the Deep Ops series, with book three Broken, finally giving us Clarence Wolfe & Dana Mulberry’s story.

I have loved Wolfe through the previous books, his quirky personality, his fondness for animals and his predilection for sweet coffee, with cream and sprinkles, all wrapped up in the usual Zannetti Alpha packaging. Dana being an investigative reporter has an equally strong personality and their clashes in the

I have been waiting for Wolfe’s story since the beginning. An agent wearing a trench coat with a kitten in his pocket who likes coffee with whipped cream and sprinkles has a story to tell and Zanetti did not disappoint!

Broken is book 3 in the Deep Ops series and it's Wolfe and Dana's story. I have been looking forward to Wolfe's story since the moment he was introduced. There was just something loveable about the damaged soldier with a kitten in his pocket and an addiction to sweet coffees. Wolfe and Dana had amazing chemistry as friends and then as lovers. The action is nonstop and I loved how Dana protected Wolfe even by betraying his trust to his friends. I loved the new additions to the team and I

Wolfe was as incredible as I expected him to be!
I've been looking forward to this man's story since I met him (and Kat, his kitten) in Hidden.
He was uber focused and withdrawn, but had a unique charm that was impossible to resist.
How can you not be wooed by a man who can handle any deadly situation, strategically outline a plan of action against the evil of the world, but can't live without his super sweet lattes with whipped cream and sprinkles?
And he shares his love of sweets with all of his f

Wolfe has been one of my favorites since book one. He likes Dana but doesn't want a relationship with her because he's afraid someone from his past will hurt her because of it. Multiple bad guys running around all connected to his former buddy turned extreme bad guy. Lots of interaction with all the Deep ops peeps and previous couples. Roscoe and Kat are still my favorite. Several new characters introduced to keep this series going.
Rebecca Zanetti returns to her Deep Ops series with Broken, a story about a former Navy SEAL and determined to avenge his fallen brothers in arms and the woman who wants to help him.

Clarence Wolfe has been biding his time looking for the man who killed his team while working for Homeland Defense Department, a motley crew of good men and women who’d have his back if he’d let them. But he’s reluctant to let anyone close to him for fear his nemesis might hurt his loved ones to get at him, especiall

I love this series so much! A bunch of misfits in a hidden away government group. Acting as detectives, researchers and field agents. And they are all so beautifully flawed it's impossible to not fall for them. And feel for them!
Wolfe and Dana had a terrific story, and I just loved getting to know them better. Seeing them fight. Seeing them love. Seeing them strategiz

Please save me from the friends-to-lovers trope where they both want to get together, but we can't. I've read more than my share lately and they are sooooo trite, every one of them. I expected so much more from Wolfe and Dana, who have been dancing around each other from the first book.

Clarence Wolfe is a former Navy SEAL who lost his unit and was severely injured. He is on a one-man personal mission to avenge their deaths. Dana Mulberry keeps distracting him by needing rescue. Dana is a freela
Rebecca Zanetti’s ‘Broken’ continues a quirky series where a small, almost-forgotten force of misfits band together…and not necessarily get along swimmingly while finding their rocky HEAs en route to saving themselves.

Wolfe and Dana are on 2 separate missions, so it seems, but the story does have a familiar ring to it: together their paths do cross, thanks to Angus Force and with a bit of poking in here and there into each other’s business which enjoying the zing of the attraction between them.
I've given this a B+ for narration and a B for content at AudioGals

Rebecca Zanetti’s Deep Ops series featuring the members of a small, out-on-a-limb branch of the Homeland Defence Department continues with Broken, the third full-length novel in the set. Each book in the series is a (mostly) self-contained story but there’s also an overarching plot concerning the search by Angus Force – the head of the group – for the serial killer he supposedly shot and killed five years earlier. The story was fun and very entertaining. I got such a kick out of an out-of-control and quirky Vet Roscoe, an alcoholic dog!

Wolfe and Dana were awesome together! They weren't that smooth undercover! I couldn't believe they were drugged with date-rape cocktail while working cases at a BDSM Club! Totally embarrassing! The worst? The result from being outplayed that night? Okay, it was a spoiler! I would just skip it!

Absolutely loved Wolfe and Dana's romantic moments! Loved the fight scenes! Espe

Dana and Wolfe end up at the same BDSM club on the same night both looking for different people because of their jobs. Wolfe was dressed as a Dom while Dana was dressed as a sub and to protect Dana, Wolfe slapped some pink cuffs on her so other Doms wouldn't mess with her. But she was just about to throw a fit when the men they were there to find ended up dead.

Wolfe makes her come back to his place to keep her safe but she's a reporter on a story and staying there under his protection doesn't s

This latest entry in the Deep Ops series features Clarence Wolfe and reporter Dana Mulberry. If you've read the other books in this series, you know that each of the agents in the Deep Ops series are a bit quirky. Well maybe quirky doesn't quite say it all but you get the drift. Wolfe has plenty of issues but one thing that is never in question is his loyalty to his friends. He will do anything to protect those he loves and he will stop at nothing to get the bad guy. Broken by Rebecca Zanetti is the third book in the Deep Ops series and was as intense and compelling as the previous two books.

I was excited to find out that this one was about Clarence Wolfe who I absolutely adore. How can you not love a large alpha male who rescues a kitten and brings sweet latte drinks for all of his team? Ms. Zanetti introduces a few new characters in this book that I hope will continue to be part of the team as I am intrigued by each of them. The plot was fast paced, filled

I loved, loved, loved this one. The best book in this series so far in my opinion. Wolfe is his unique self while being fulling focused on getting his bad guy and protecting everyone around him. Dana is a strong woman who never lets Wolfe push her around or away in order to keep her safe. They were a well matched couple and even though they bumped heads about how to work their mission together they still worked it out and made a great team. Loved getting to see Wolfe interact with Dana's family, ...more

"He watched her, his expression knowing. "Are you about done being a brat."
It was only a semi-fair question. "If I'm not?"
He straightened. "You're not gonna like the answer to the question."

aaaannnndddd, that is a good look at Clarence “Wolfe” and Dana Mulberry.

I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two. I had been waiting for Wolfe's book since the first Deep Ops book, Hidden. I would have to say that I don't think anyone else

I'm enjoying the romantic suspense in the Deep Ops series . There is a new couple in each story. The characters and situation is rather over the top, not quite realistic or believable. Although the humor is a bit ridiculous with quirky characters, the violence is gritty. There's a dog and a cat on the team.

I’ve really wanted the author to write a story for Wolfe and I’m so happy that we finally get to know so much more about him ! Wolfe is on a mission all of his own and he is determined to save his team from his violent past. Tracking down the man who betrayed both Wolfe and his fallen comrades though takes him further towards a woman he might want but knows for her own safety he can never have !
Dana is determined to find out what has happened to a fellow journalist and her latest lead takes her

If one is in the mood for a great suspense with just the perfect amount of romance added in, this is a keeper! The two sides balance perfectly with neither taking over the plot at the expense of the other. Wolfe is a fabulous character and Dana is his perfect foil. She is determined without being obnoxious, kind but persistent. And, she needs it with Wolfe! His protective side has become an obsession that overrules his good sense at times so pitting these two fabulous characters together works p ...more

I like the arc of the storyline, and the continuing cast of characters. The plot was slim and transparent, but enjoyable nevertheless. Roscoe and Kat (the second string animal characters(?)) continue to be a thorn-in-my-side......and, yep, I KNEW that would happen! (Eye roll.) If I wanted to read a book on animals, I would be reading animal husbandry.

The heroine, Dana, got on my last nerve. Yes, she is an independent, freelance reporter capable of taking care of herself. There are times she does

Book #3 in the Deep Ops series, I was so excited to delve back into this world! Featuring a ragtag team of operatives ‘sort-of’ working under the arm of the US Government, they are a fantastic bunch – skilled, badass and uniquely quirky in so many ways. The biggest badass of them all, Clarence Wolfe and investigative journalist, Dana have been dancing around each other over the last couple of books, and OMG, I loved seeing them finally come together!

Deep Ops #3

Lighter in some ways than the previous books this story still had plenty going on. Wolfe has been intriguing throughout the series with the kitten named Kat in his pocket that he takes with him everywhere. He has been strong and somewhat silent while providing super sweet coffee beverages with shipped cream and sprinkles. I was eager to read his story and hear who he would end up with. That said, though I enjoyed the story it was not my favorite of this serie

Broken is a firestorm of passion, danger, humor, and sizzling hot romance! It was everything I was hoping for and so much more.

This book had a lot of spectacular action and some good heart to go with the many twists and turns. I was also pleasantly surprised with Wolfe. Honestly, there isn't much to say that I didn't say in my first review for Hidden (my link text)

While these are all standalone - we know all the characters and its a similar troupe for all of them.

Wolfe is definitely one of my favorites in this series. I love me a man who is totally fucked in the head!

I actually started reading this on paperback and then got busy so I had to switch back and forth from audio to book.

Was this an epic read? Nope. Did it help me get through the day
