After battling with demon possession from the previous book, Jackie was in love with David, the seminarian. Being in love makes you think that all things are possible and love overcomes it all... Is that true?

David's mom is sick and David has to return to Russia but he brings Jackie with him. Jackie was thrilled at the offer and at the same time she wants to make use of the opportunity to trace Babu's past.

It seems all things fall in place until Jackie's best friend, Jason encountered something

Oh wow. This book brought up a lot of emotions. Great ones I was laughing really hard. Well Jackie Turov goes on another weird quite unusual adventure. She is now finishing up Highschool planning out her future with her friends. Jason, Zeta and Trish.

( I'm just going to call Trish a Frenemy.) The almost ordained Priest David is still involved in her life too. Well Jackie has been offered to see Russia. ( a place which is high on her list) One since she is of Russian descent and two she wants to

Spellbound is a long-anticipated second book in JoAnne Keltner’s Pagan Light series. Previously branded as the Goth Girl, Virgin Queen series, the author rebranded a few months ago. Spellbound continues the journey of Jackie, a teenage psychic. After everything that happened in book one, Jackie is back in church with her great-grand mother, Babu. Her interest in pri

I have to admit that I hadn't heard of JoAnne Keltner before winning a Goodreads Giveaway, and I read Spellbound without having read the first book. It's not required (though I am sure it would have helped). You can follow the story beautifully, picking up with the second book, and enough backstory is provided so that the reader doesn't feel as though they're floundering about. The descriptions are quite lovely and Keltner has found a solid balance - the settings are well described without being ...more
