There’s one rule in my family.

Stay away from the Daly brothers.

We were raised to know them as users. Manipulators. But I only ever saw Connor as the enigmatic senior hottie who dropped into fifth period to teach us about the perils of drunk driving.

When my first big girl job out of college ends up with us working at the same company, it’s heart throb city all over again. E

I liked this book. It was a cute romance. When the book starts out the author described Connor as “ the hot guy” and Kinsley as the socially awkward woman. Kinsley grew up with Connor (even though they didnt talk at that time). They also work for the same company is different departments. Kinsley works as HR and her boss Tamara is Connors ex. One day they end up at the same bar. Connor was upset and drinking due to a loss in the family and Kinsley had a rough day at work due to Tamara treating h ...more

Oh, those Daly boys!

This book is the second book of the Bayshore series revolving around the Daly brothers! They can be read as standalones but the characters do crossover and there is a bigger ongoing issue within the Daly family dynamic that is unfolding. With each book we see how the brothers grew up in competition with each other due to their fathers power/money hungry ways. So we see the relationships between the brothers change throughout the books, but it’s a small piece, so these can sti

Make me fall is the second book in the Bayshore Series by Ember Leigh. Each book in the series is a stand-alone. The characters from Make Me Lose (book 1 in the series) appear briefly and if I hadn't seen the book on GR I wouldn't know that there was book before this one.

I liked most of the book and I found it easy to read. There was one thing that really bothered me and it was the time our characters spent apart. The spent more time not been a couple than been one and I found that highly annoy

Make Me Fall was a cute contemporary romance that gave off serious summer vibes and while I enjoyed it a lot, I didn't love it.

The basic premise of the story is simple; Two people from the same town (whose parents hate each other) work for the same company (but don't interact) until one day, in a bar when they're drunk, one of them (Conner) convinces the other one (Kinsley) to come home with him and to act as his girlfriend so he can essentially score points in his family's constant game of one-

I loved Ember Leigh's "Make Me Fall". Part of the story's timeline overlaps with the first book in the Bayshore series, "Make Me Lose", but both books are completely standalone, so readers won't feel lost by starting with book #2. That said, I highly recommend reading book #1 anyway because it adds a nice bit of context to the events of this story, plus it's just so darn cute and funny on its own.

I love the fake relationship trope, and it's

Make Me Fall follows the fake relationship trope. What I love about Ember Leigh is that she could probably write about anything and make it awesome. Her story-building and writing finesse are evident in each book that she writes. She could probably write about a trope that I didn't care for and I would still love it to pieces. She's that good. And she really makes her own mar

This is the second book in this series, I really hope you read the first book (Make me loose) which starred Grayson and Hazel you will love it or I did. In this book we have Connor and Kinsley. Connor asks Kinsley to be his fake girlfriend when he goes home to visit his family and to attend his grandmothers funeral, this will be the trifecta for him, getting on his dads nerves, showing up his brothers and getting back at his ex-girlfriend Tamara whom also happens to be Kinsley's witch of a boss. ...more

Well isn't Connor a cocky one, “was this morning a dream, or did I eff you so hard that you fell asleep on top of my ***k?” Connor is an ambitious one, “I would never. Though I do plan to eff you,”he says, a smile curling his lips. He pins me against the wall with his hips..." I liked this book, I liked Connor.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. The characters are well rounded. Amusing and full of angst I loved the family dynamics and drama. As well as the constant need for coemption.
With all their many flaws imagined or real the kept moving forward. It wasn’t easy to overcome, and it was sometimes at the expense of the other. is the second book in the Bayshore series and tells the story of Kinsley and Connor. Although this is the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

Make Me Fall is book 2 of the Bayshore series, but I read it as a stand alone with ease. Ember Leigh writes an entertaining story, and I found her characters, both primary and secondary, to be interesting and well drawn. I especially appreciated the crispness and clarity of her dialogue, which always seemed to fit both character and situation. The only thing that I struggled with was a desire to have the heroine display a little more personal growth - in short, at times I wanted to shake her and ...more

Kinsley had one rule growing up and that was to stay away from the Daly brothers. Connor was everything she filled her high school and young adult fantasies. What are the odds they both end up working for the same company on he West Coast?! Totally a dream come true. Never feeling the type he would notice their fake relationship slowly evolves into something more. Absolutely loved it! What a great romance and reminding you the one who completes you might be right in front of your eyes.

Ember Leigh is a new to me author, and I found her writing to be easily addictive. Make Me Fall is the story of Kinsley, who is a shy, quirky girl who doesn't have a ton of self esteem. She's also always had a crush on the hero, Connor Daly, but he's part of a family that her family despises, and vice versa, so he had no clue. Kinsley hasn't seen Connor for some time, however, when she gets her first big girl job out of college, she ends up working at the same company that he does, which has the ...more

After Make Me Lose, I was very happy to see yet another cool cover of Ember Leigh. Make Me Fall is about Connor Daly, Grayson's little brother. Connor lives away from Bayshore, where he works as a developer for a software company. When Connor has to go back to Bayshore, to attend his grandmother's funeral, he doesn't want to go alone. After just breaking up with his girlfriend Tamara (who is the HR manager at the firm where he works), he doesn't want to return home single. Connor's father is a c ...more

My English review

I had a good time with the first volume of the series featuring Hazel and Grayson and I was very curious to discover the story of another Daly brother. So how can we resist Connor and Kinsley.

Kinsley’s family has always hated Connor’s even though they don’t really know why. However, he had a crush on her and even if they now work for the same company, he has never even looked at her. She understands that, she finds herself banal, not pretty enough and certain

Bayshore is back...this time with a different Daly brother...connor.

Stunning, swoon worthy fake romance.

Kinsley and Connor are Bayshore's Romeo and Juliet (without the love at first sight....well on one side anyway) their parents hate eachother but when Connors gran dies and he comes across Kinsley in a bar he creates a fabulous plan to one up his brothers, annoy his father and make his ex (who happens to be Kinsley's boss) jealous ... bring back the Cabana girl as his girlfriend.

Make Me Fall is the second book in the Bayshore series. This is Connor and Kinsley's story. While I didn't love it as much as the first book, Make Me Lose, I still enjoyed it for the most part. The story actually takes place at the same time as the events in the fist book. However, you don't need to have read the first one to read this one. It works well as a stand alone.

What I loved about the book was Kinsley. I loved her growth and how her confidence slowly grew over the story. She really save

One offer, one hottie who Kinsley has had a crush on since highschool, two weeks and a family rivarly that goes back years....What does this all add up to? A seductive story that’ll draw you in and hold you captive till the very last word has been read.

Kinsley struggles with self esteem issues because of an emotional abusive relationship and a boss who likes to make her life miserable. So when Conner (who just happens to be the guy shes likes since highschool) offers to pay for her to accompany

“Make Me Fall” is my my first read by Ember Leigh. This book tweaked my curiosity because of its twist on the enemies to lovers trope with a dash of fake boyfriend/girlfriend trope. In it we meet Kinsley and Connor. Their parents are (for reason we will uncover towards the end of the book) enemies, as a result, Kinsley and Connor are as well. However, having moved away from their small town to further their careers they end working at the same firm. They meet up and form an unlikely alliance. Ha ...more

The Humor in this book gets me, and Kinsley and her unrequited crush just does my heart in. Conner is a guy who needed a reality check and got one.

How Kinsley talks herself into still believing this is all but a ruse to get under his families skin, and how she carries herself in the face of their frosty reception of her shows how amazing she is as a person.

Connor his character bothered me, in many ways. Mainly be

Make Me Fall by Ember Leigh is a story about a quirky girl who doesn't care much for appearances and her crush who also happens to be from her hometown. Kinsley is a girl who doesn't have a lot of self-confidence but who also knows who she is and doesn't apologize for it. A good book 2 to her “Bayshore Series”. In this book we have Connor and Kinsley’s story. I like a good “fake relationship” story. The author did a decent job, but there were some parts I cringed at.

Connor and his brothers have always competed at EVERYTHING. So when Connor has to go back home, he decides that by him being the only brother with a girlfriend, he wins! So in comes Kinsley. Her family and Connor’s family HATE each other. You never REALLY find out why. Or maybe it was just so stupid

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

Such a sweet romance! So used to this authors MMA romances that this was a nice change and still beautiful writing. Connor Daly comes from a big family with three other brothers who were the hotties in high school. Kinsley Cabana is a wallflower, and has crushed on Connor since high school. A chance meeting at a bar and they strike up a deal to head back home as a fake couple. Only turns out they have more feels in common and

This is the 2nd book in the Bayshore series and it is amazing. You'll fall in love with Connor and Kinsley quickly. Connor Daly is from a family where the brothers have this competition in who's doing better in life - mainly financially. So, since Connor has to go home, what better way to one up his brothers, stir a pot with his parents, AND possibly piss off his ex-girlfriend than to create a fake girlfriend from his hometown who is the daughter of a family that are his parents' enemy. AND that ex? She's the fake girlfriend's boss!

Make me fall is a romance that’s all about doing better for your self. Connor and Kinsley knew each other in high school and she knew he was the man for her. The problem? He had his pick of perfect women and their parents hated each other. By chance they moved from home and ended up in San Diego and working at the same company.

When Connor has to go home, he runs into Kins and he proposes her to go with him and pretend to be his girlfriend. What can go wrong? Of course being in the same room for
