Very interesting account of Nelson Mandela’s life from growing up in a small village to eventually leading the nation. Written very well in a tone that’s easy for pre-teens to understand. I love so much focus on equality and peace!

This book was very informative and well written. We read it when we studied Africa for homeschool and it was a perfect complement.
