“I don’t want to work for anyone. I’m through with it. I’ve seen the official obligations of working for the government, and the path you must navigate when working as an organization like Purgatory. I’m tired of it. Nothing moves, the bad guys are still roaming the streets, and we face the same issues over and over again. I can’t stay without doing anything, and I’ve run out of patience for official channels. I’m going to explore less official ones.”
Night Justice is the first instalment in a stellar new series by India Kells. Ms Kells is one of my favourite authors, and I can always count on her to deliver an enthralling read. The premise of this story grabbed me right from the get-go. The whole vigilante justice angle mixed with plenty of action, an investigative reporter, danger, the underworld, and a new deadly drug- what’s not to love. Right?
This book/series is a bit of spin-off from the Purgatory series- with characters, and references to events from Women of Purgatory. You don’t need to have read that series to enjoy this book- but I highly recommend reading them anyway- because not only are they fantastic stories- I think knowing what happens there will give you a much better understanding of the background events that propelled the whole “vigilante’ angle- and I think that would really elevate this reading experience for you. At the very least I think you should read “Breaking Point” (Woman of Purgatory Book #4- Novella).
As expected, Ms. Kells weaves palpable suspense, tension, intrigue, and drama- holding my attention throughout this engrossing story.

I have yet to come across a India Kells novel that I didn't absolutely adore and devour and this one, Night Justice, is no exception to the rule. I do enjoy the way that India Kells can weave a deep and emotional, yet gripping story that has a clear and loud plot mixed in with the passion she writes so well. I sincerely love the suspense novels that she does and this one would have to be on the top of that list of favs.
In Night Justice, A Chicago Vigilantes Novel, we get to follow Orla, a determined reporter with a mission. She must find a way to stop the distribution of a new drug that is terrorizing Chicago while also searching for a Vigilante with his own ideas of justice at play in the city. These will develop a team that will be unstoppable if they can get over their feelings and insecurities. Will she be able to do all of this and find love in the process? This book will take you on a crazy ride through Chicago and bend your mind as you try to figure out all pieces of the puzzle and where they fit! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series and any others that India Kells will grace us with soon!

Night Justice by India Kells a five-star read that will bring justice to the story. This is number one in the Chicago Vigilantes novels and if you have read the women of Purgatory series you will see come characters pop up, but I will be clear and say that you don’t need to have read that series, its just an added extra like seeing an old friend in passing not your bestie after missing each other for 10 weeks, a nice bonus but not a major working part. Orla Karlsen is a very determined character and that can sometimes be a little bit of a flaw for her, when you throw in amazing chemistry and a Vigilante in the form of an Angel, well you have a winning story. It is very quick paced and will keep your adrenalin pumping and your heart a racing, if you like a dark suspenseful romance then you won’t go wrong with this story or this author.

I loved reading the book Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells. It is a story that includes action, danger, and romance. It is a book that is entertaining and highly addictive to read. I love the character of Orla Karlsen. She is a reporter who is intelligent, strong, independent, and a fighter. She is working on a story about a new drug that is about to overtake Chicago. Her second agenda is trying to uncover a person who is dispensing their own type of justice, the Vigilante. The Vigilante is also trying to stop the same new drug from claiming lives. They both have a common goal. They start working together. There is a connection forming between them. They can’t seem to stay away from each other. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. I love that this story has a strong female character who won’t back down and is determined to find the truth about the drug that is coming to Chicago. You can’t help but root for her to succeed. Other characters interact with Orla and the Vigilante and I enjoyed reading about them. Then there are the characters who don’t care who they hurt. Will their plans succeed? This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what happens next and I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

Night Justice is the fantastic first book in the Chicago Vigilantes Series by India Kells. I have been a fan of India Kells’ writing for the last couple of years and was excited that she has brought out a new series. As expected I absolutely loved Night Justice. She has certainly got this new series off with an absolute bang!
Orla is an investigative journalist whose latest assignment is to find out about a new drug called Phantom that’s about to sweep across Chicago. At the same time she’s trying to find out information about the vigilante that’s been operating in the area. Little did she know that the 2 investigations would merge into 1 very dangerous assignment for her.
Sam is a vigilante working for Noctem Consulting who is trying to stop the introduction of the drug. After a chance meeting with Orla, when he was meant to be following her, the 2 work together to bring down the team bringing Phantom to their city.
This is a very fact paced romantic thriller that will keep you gripped from beginning to end. I love how India Kells writes a fantastic thriller but also adds some very hot and steamy scenes that will have you needing to fan your face.
I’ve never read an India Kells book that I haven’t loved and I can’t wait to read more from this series. It has all the markings of being another cracker! Night Justice is a MUST read.

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells was a good 4 star read.
I was pulled in right from the beginning. We get a glimpse into how the vigilante got his start and then we jump ahead five years later to Orla, a strong and determined reporter for the Chicago Tribune.
Orla is looking into a way to stop a new dangerous drug from hitting the streets of Chicago. Her other interest is unmasking the vigilante. When the vigilante gets wind that Orla is also searching for the drug in a twist these two end up joining forces to find them together. The more they work together the closer they become.
Will they succeed and can they keep their hearts out of it?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. I loved Orla’s strength and determination, she wasn’t afraid to back down from a fight. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. If you are looking for a great thrilling read this is the one for you. Night Justice is the first book in the Chicago Vigilantes series by India Kells. It is the first I have read by her, and I hope there is a book 2, as this book ended too suddenly. There is so much left unresolved. Over all, it was a really good book. A little too... graphic... in certain scenes, but the story was good. Makes me think of Batman- A vigilante is rumored to be seen in Chicago, but the descriptions never seem to match up. Orla, a reporter, has made it her current project to investigate it. She is tasked with a new story- find more information on the distribution of a new drug said to be coming to Chicago soon. On her first night investigating, she crosses paths with said Vigilante, and it begins. They both have the same mission in mind, to keep the drug off the streets, but they have a hard time trusting each other and teaming up. They certainly have chemistry and physical closeness, but lack the trust. I recommend this book, I enjoyed it. I want to know how its going to end though, I feel it ended too soon, and left too many questions.

This book is full of action, suspense, danger, wonderful characters and more. I love Orla's character, she is a reporter that is strong and independent and when she puts her mind to something there's no stopping her. She is trying to stop a new drug from hitting the streets and she also wants to uncover who the vigilante is. The vigilante is also on a quest to stop the distribution of this awful drug. They find themselves working together and they can't seem to stop the chemistry between them. This is a must read if you want to know if they are able to stop the drugs from being released and what happens between these two. I cannot wait to read the next installment in what is starting out to be a great series. I highly recommend this book.

As her pet project she’s trying to uncover the identity of a vigilante who metes out his own justice. Realizing that they have a common goal, to stop Phantom, they decide to collaborate. The chemistry between the two is electrifying but with danger lurking around every corner, can these two connect?
I loved that Orla was a strong, no nonsense female lead. The vigilante, though on the wrong side of the law, had his own set of morals. The story is filled with danger, action and romance, what more could you ask for? I found it was a little slow at the beginning but once it picked up, boy was it a page turner! I’ve read a few of this authors’ books before and this was just as good as the others.

I have read a few books from this author and she still continues to blow my mind. I absolutely love a good criminal romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the Chicago Vigilantes series and wow what a great start to an awesome series. You can’t help but to fall in love with these characters. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Night Justice is the opening act of India Kells’ new series of Chicago Vigilantes series. I absolutely adore India Kells and the universe that she has created with her Women of Purgatory and Dark Sparrow series and with her crossover series with Maddie Wade, and now she is adding to it, fantastic! I love how the characters from different series cross paths so be prepared, that is also the case with Night Justice and the new series!
When you pick up a story by India Kells, you know that hours filled with enthralling story are waiting for you and be forewarned, plan enough time to get through the story with one sitting as stopping is not an option, trust me … I tried and it didn’t work, my brain could not shut down so I had to get up and just continue …

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells was an extremely suspenseful dark romance that had me turning page after page. Orla Karlsen is a reporter in Chicago determined to stop a new drug from spreading through her city. Alongside this mission, she wants to figure out who the Vigilante is, who is taking matters into his own hands. The Vigilante is on his own mission to stop the drug and figures Orla may be his ticket to getting to the bottom of it, before it starts killing people. As their relationship starts to blossom that’s when things start to get interesting, and hot. Will Orla be able to trust the mysterious man or will he betray her to keep his secrets safe. I couldn’t put this book down, I HAD to find out what happened next. I’ll be waiting anxiously for the next book.

Night Justice by India Kells is the first installment of A Chicago Vigilantes series which is a dark romance with suspense. I was so excited to read this series when I saw it, between the synopsis and that cover. This is the first book I have read by this author but again won’t be the last, I love finding new authors that I fall in love with their work. This is a easy read that keeps you hook from the first page, there is so much adventure, action, mystery and then you add in the romance. Orla Karlsen is a reporter in Chicago who is determined to stop a new drug from spreading through the city but also to figure out who the masked Vigilante is giving his own justice to those who deserve it. Her and the Vigilante have such hot chemistry its off the charts. Highly recommend this book.

India Kells is the writer of this Suspenseful Romance. This was really intense starting on page 1. Kept me on the edge of my seat. This is one of those stories, you can't put down. I love Sam! He is so intense and sexy. That is how he was written in this story. I also love strong women, ones that can defend themselves. India Kells has really done her job with this the first book in the series.

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells. This author always brings her A+ game to all books and this one is no different. From page one I knew I’d be reading in one sitting. The characters are complex and relatable, they bring readers right into their world and as for me I didn’t want to leave. I love books with strong female main characters and this one definitely delivers just that, a head strong fierce character who doesn’t back down and the Vigilante who she teams with makes for an amazing story. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I’m so excited and impatiently waiting for more. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

There is also alot of drama and action. Very good read.

This dark suspense romance kept me hooked from beginning to the end! I have read this author before and I have loved every book by her! This one is no different. Her writing is amazing and her attention to details is great! I loved all of the main characters and the chemistry was off the charts. I am looking forward to reading more by this Amazing author and i would recommend this to a friend!

Night Justice was the first book I have read by India Kells. The pages flowed so fast that this easily became a one day read. I enjoyed how it was very original in its night-time vigilante theme, yet while reading it, you could see it playing in your head, like a scene from a DC comic. The romance inclusion was a perfect mix with the action and suspense. Since this is the first book in the series, I will be watching and waiting (slightly impatiently) for the next book.

I think I am yet to read a book by this author that I haven’t loved. Her writing is as captivating as always and I was hooked from beginning to end. There was plenty of action from the very start. The characters in the story were great. I really liked Orla, she was strong, determined and wasn’t going to back down. I really enjoyed reading about her. I loved that there was a little romance in the story too. When Orla and The Vigilante meet their connection and chemistry was undeniable!
Night Justice is a fantastic 5 star read, it has some darker romance elements to it which I loved! I am really excited to read the next book in the series!

Oh this series is one that I will be waiting impatiently for the next book to release. I have been a fan of Ms. Kells for a while now and now I'm a bigger fan because of this book. She nailed the darker suspense perfectly.
Orla has no fear and I love that about her. She has seen so much as an investigation journalist, including war so the streets of Chicago should be easy. Should be, but aren't though the Vigilante is doing his part in making them safer.
We get to know the members of the this group and I'm so excited about this series.

What a kick off to a new series this book is! Orla is a top journalist that's trying to keep a new drug off the street and also to dig into who/what this new vigilante is and if they're good or bad.
I was hooked from page one and I enjoyed every amazing minute of this story. I cant wait to see where this series goes from here. This author has a way with words to devour every single thing they write!

Night Justice is book one in the Chicago Vigilantes series by India Kells. This genre is one I usually one I always buy but don't read right away. I have to be in a certain frame of mind to tackle a good dark and suspenseful story. I am glad I didn't wait to dive into this one. The characters were complicated and hard to get a read on right away, but as the story developed, the very core of them was unearthed. These sort of books always have me on edge and thinking. Constantly thinking of who, what , where, when and why. I am inquisitive by nature, and this story kept me intrigued and entertained from beginning to end. A dramatic and mysterious read. 4 stars.

Night Justice (A Chicago Vigilantes Novel Book 1) by India Kells is a romance story full of danger and intrigue and it is a great start to this new series. I must admit that I have not found anything I have read by India that I have not liked. Be warned before you start that it is so engrossing it is hard to put down. If you are anything like me you will read it all in one sitting and be up till all hours. You will find there is a crossover of characters and old friends. The mystery and suspense is palpable as we race through time into the drama and tension.

I'm a big fan of India Kells's books. She writes such gripping novels that will hook you from the very beginning and not let you up until the very end!

In this book we follow Orla who is a reporter who is set on her mission on stopping the drug trade that is running rampant through Chicago as well as the Vigilante who has his own version to justice served. Miss Kells has a way of writing such deep and meaningful story that hands you many twists and turns to the plot that keep you on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen next. I cannot wait for the next installment!
