She enjoys traveling, watercolor painting, hiking in National Parks, going to musical performances, and being in a boat on the water. She is never happier than when she’s in the company of her husband, family and friends, with perhaps some food and wine involved.

I really enjoyed this three-stranded reincarnation love story. The heroine describes two past lives she recalls in dreams- one in prehistoric France and one in gold rush Deadwood- and her present life in 1970s Minnesota. The Minnesota part of the book felt fully experienced, and the other two parts were thoroughly researched.
This is a book with a strong emotional impact. The characters are very genuine and well-realized. Especially in the Deadwood chapters it gets to the point of being gut-wrenchingly tragic, which makes the arc of second chance happiness all the more urgent. The portrayals of the natural world around the characters are particularly striking. As are the dramatic events that colour their lives. And the continuing resilience of the female character, who appears as Kari, Rachel and as Diana in the narrative. But of course, is always the same soul. In her Minnesota life as Diana she at least seems to have a relatively easy life- well, compared to what she’s been through before. She is absolutely determined that she and her lover will at last have a happy ending, to make up for what they missed before. A very poignant read, and a rewarding one.

An intriguing love story. Authors attention to detail, research and character description was remarkable. The love story definitely held my interest.

It's a good book of live
I enjoyed reading this book,I thought I would get confused with 2 past lives mingling with niw. But it was easy to follow,thank you for a good read.

A well written love story by a gifted author. Easy to follow storyline, supported by enough details to ring true, yet not be confusing. Enjoyable read!
