A very awesome audio book given as a free gift at Audible.com. The Extraordinary Leadership book won't teach you how to organize, manage projects, boost sales, or identify markets. What Extraordinary Leadership does is give a morale boost. The author utilizes numerous positive psychological concepts appealing to the emotional, mood, attitude, and personality systems of the listener. He seeks to boost confidence, positive predictions, and reduction of stressful outlooks. Basically, Robin Sharma is the all around good-guy that people want to have at work. And those that are able to learn from his language style and behavior have the ability to improve their own positions as extraordinary leaders, or at least good minded people.

Hooter: Some positive reiteration of leadership principles by Robin Sharma

An extremely short book, rather a podcast I would call it where Robin shares / reiterates a couple of pointers on leadership with a positive outlook. Comes free with audible and its good to hear these self help gurus speak themselves considering most have made careers of motivational speaking.

Great pointers for anyone new to the world of understanding the difference between leadership and management.

A really good short book you can listen on the commute (I listened to this when I was driving back to my hometown on my car) It was really worth the time.

Some highlights
- Nike philosophy is everyone's walking on this planet is an athlete similarly, Robin believes that everyone who consumes oxygen is a leader.
- Brain carves Novelty, we are happier when we are growing, we are happiest when we are challenging ourselves.

Best practices
- Leadership begins with you: Our life is constructed based on the daily activities we do, so make every day your best to be a better leader. Small daily consistent steps.
- Work when no one is watching: Make your customers feel special. Don't work for fame.
- Leaders put people first: Respect people. Build a great culture in the team (eg. Apple, Nike. People can copy your products but not the culture). Be authentic and stay humble.
- Nothing fails like success: Organization is vulnerable when it's successful. Love your customers.
- Do the uncomfortable at first: It will give you great self-confidence and energy for the rest of the day. Take risks, do the uncomfortable.
- Get the people right: the world will be alright. Celebrate people and values; growth will be on your way.
- Continuous learning: If you eat 3 times a day you are fed, if you read 3 times a day you would be wise. Reading elevates you! One idea from one book can change your life, you don't know which book has that idea. So keep reading!

Very short read with several good tips, but nothing earth shattering.

Great to listen to during the commute, especially in the morning, when you need a little extra push!

Wonderful book and page-turner and easy understanding of concepts and great learning of being a good leader it's not about having a major degree or certification, it's basically about how to be a good human being before he makes a good leader by ourself. One aspect I like about the book is the strategy that says love yourself and feel good about yourself and the things you do before you start appreciating your co-workers.

This "book" is a fairly generic motivational speech not so cleverly surrounding an advertisement for the author's paid services and products. This might be useful for someone who has been in hiding for their entire adult life, but there is no reason for this book to exist in this age of information availability - there are far better resources that are readily available. The only redeeming factor is that it is mercifully short (just over 1 hour), but that is not enough to elevate this to 2 stars. Far and away, this is the worst listen in my (short) Audible listening experience.

This was a short and simple book. It was to-the-point. Robin doesn't spend a lot of time proving that he's right, he just puts his observations on the table. If you're looking for a book to give you a boost in your leadership attitudes and skills, then this is well worth your time. But, if you're looking to be a leadership guru, look somewhere else because that is not the intent of this book.

Nothing terribly unique here, but still good ideas to keep in mind. He seems to use an abundance of one-liners. You know the type that are meant to be simple inspirational statements. It doesn't become too tiresome because the entire program was just an hour, but I could see it becoming so if it were a longer program.

An excellent short book about leadership. Many of the things he speaks too mirror my own beliefs for leadership. A quick read and very insightful. Some great gems of wisdom. Definitely worth the time it takes to read.

Good motivating book. I felt it was very high level instruction. More of a book to point you in the right direction on what books to read. Quick and easy.

One of the best points made was to look at our children for principles on great leadership.
