Dylan Drake

Kira Carter-Wells--badass bodyguard, and the most unconvincing "fake" date for the evening ever presented by a studio exec. Guys, seriously, I've been out and proud since I was eleven. Women do naff all for me. Zero groin excitement. This is a farce.

Kira Carter-Wells.

My mission, keep my drop dead sexy charge away from any knife-wielding maniacs and tuck him into

I wasn’t sure about this one before I started reading it. I had read a few reviews and they were either on one end of the spectrum or the other. People either loved this book or they didn’t.
At the beginning I was a bit confused but as I kept reading I began to enjoy the book and then got to a point I couldn’t put it down because I was intrigued and had to find out what was gonna happen next.
The first half of the book is a bit of a teaser and yo

This wasn't what I was looking for. Mostly erotica, not a fleshed out story. Too bad. It had potential. The writing style was also very simplistic. Not for me.

I received a copy of this novel in exchange for a fair review.
This novel is not for everyone. The main characters are extremely difficult to like. Dylan, a sex god actor who insists that he is only gay has issues. Lots of issues. He lives in denial that he could be attracted to a woman even while having sex with her, to the point even she cannot stand his repetition that he's really, really completely gay. He believes that if he is found to love a woman, he will be kicked out of the gay communi

Forbidden Bad Boys #3

Dylan Drake is the ultimate heart throb and everything that Kira Carter-Wells once lusted after. At least he WAS until he came out and destroyed her dreams. When she is sent in to be Dylan’s security when his life is threatened her boss is sure that she is the perfect person for the job because…well…Dylan is NOT into women. And yet, Dylan IS attracted to Kira and he is clueless and in denial for most of the book while trying to deal with the interest h

Love is label needed

I really loved this story. This book put the question out there if a gay man that's been gay most of his life can have sexual feelings for a woman. I really wanted to read this book because it's the first I've read that the man is conflicted on his sexuality dealing with women. Most of the books I've read has straight men dealing with feelings of being gay/bisexual. This was so interesting to me I just had to read it and I'm glad I did. I loved Dylan and Kira. Dylan

I was intrigued when I saw the book before this “Bath Bomb”, but quickly dismisses it as a reading choice because while I LOVE 💕 a good ménage I prefer to read only M/F/M ones ( where all the romantic and sexual interests revolves around the woman) because m/m isn’t my thing,I don’t share and I don’t want my h’s to have to e

Sex Bomb is an angsty, frustrating, straight for you "romance." Quotes around romance because there's little to no romance in it. Dylan is a famous out movie star who has recently garnered a stalker of sorts and now he has a female bodyguard to watch over him. He's really confused and frustrated by her because for some insane reason, he's wildly attracted to her. He's always known he was gay, his entire life, he's an advocate for the LGBT community even, so this development has him reeling. I co ...more

I had not read anything by this author before and certainly not anything in this series. I wasn’t lost, and I don’t know that you have to have read the other books to understand this book.

I admit that I’m not a fan of the “actor” as protagonist so that undoubtedly influenced me a little. Dylan is a really self-involved (jerk) guy and though I found his internal monologue funny I never warmed up to him as an MC. Never.

I was fascinated by the idea of a “reverse GFY” – a gay man who’d never had sex

This was a brand new read for me for this relaunch. The first two books in the series were not. Black Velvet had so much more content than Bath Bomb did that it seemed new LOL Anywho, Dylan and Kira where a new story for me. I liked their story a lot, but I did not like the execution of their story as much. Meaning, for me, it took way too long for them to get their act together and stop the push/pull going on. I got a bit frustrated. A lot frustrated. I will admit that Madelynne has spoiled me ...more

Where to start with this review. Is it with me staying up to the wee hours to finishing reading. Or with the almost compulsive pull Dylan Drake has. He is a really intriguing character with a lot more beneath the surface than meets the eye. His struggles and complex nature draw the reader in. When a threat to the famous actors life occurs. Kira Carter-Wells enters, the fiercely strong female bodyguard sent by his studio to ensure no naughty shenanigans occur. As an openly gay man in Hollywood. A ...more

Clara Leigh/Madelynne Ellis is one of my favorites. I love this series! Cherry bomb, Bath Bomb and now Sex Bomb. Sex bomb was a great read. Dylan and Kira have great chemistry and those pesky feeling they try to deny? Well, they can’t. This book proves that you can’t help who you love. Despite Dylan having always identified as gay, he find himself drawn to Kira. I love that Kira is badass, feisty and all fangirl. Haven’t we all had that crush on an attainable celebrity? Imagine getting to work w ...more

I have voluntarily read an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

In this book we meet up with Dylan Drake. A female bodyguard is hired to protect him when he starts receiving threatening letters. The film studio think a female would be better for him as he would likely try to seduce a male as he is gay! But little did anyone know including Dylan that he would find Kira Carter-Wells attractive. He can't understand the feelings that he has for her but after giving into the temptation and sleeping wi

Received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review. #SexBomb #NetGalley
The man to man fellatio put me off a bit - it was too early in the story and it's not the scene you're expecting when starting a book.
Great sex scenes between Dylan and Kira but I thought they used each other more than anything and that isn't right (and unprofessional on Kira's part).
I loved the action, the suspense and all that BUT Kira was pretty much worth nothing as a security agent.
At the end we still don't know if

This book was hard for me to read. While I was sympathetic to Dylan because he had things happened to him that shouldn't happen to anybody and I understood why he was the way he was, it was very hard for me to connect with him. The constant denial from his side was getting on my nerves.
But Kira was no flower either and they did have good connection in bed. Once again I wasn’t blown away by the story but I did like it. I just wish he didn't fight his feelings so much.

Over all it was on OK read

Man, Soul Kiss was a hard one to rate, and write a review for because there were some great things, then there was Dylan, a gay man who ends up sleeping with Kira, while chanting he is a gay all the while. The HUGE issue I had with Dylan was that he seemed out of his mind. His past is baggage which definitely gives some reason for his insanity, but he got on my last nerve throughout. Kira was a bit irritating at first, but she totally got better, and wouldn't let Dylan run over her with his issu ...more

Cracking book! It starts off sounding like just a Hollywood body guard story but within a few pages I was completely hooked. Dylan is a complex character and the struggle he faces in the story were hard, he is not your average star. There are situations that some may find difficult to read. Kira is a true hero, loved the role reversal. Add into the mix a threat to Dylan's life and it turns into a real page turner of a book. I haven't read the other books in the series, as yet, but it didn't spoi ...more

This story gave me some mixed feelings through parts of it. The characters felt so indecisive and unsure of which directions they were or were not going to venture into. However, at some point within the story, a shift was made and in the right direction. Choices were made and it didn't feel as much of a huge mess that was occurring. Overall, the story was well written, as mentioned, it felt a little lost in parts. ...more

This book is book 3 in the series and you are not required to read the previous books to follow and understand the book, it might help a little on some of the background characters but not required.

This book is really about one guy and him finding himself sexually.

He is determined that he knows himself and that someone comes into his life that turns it all upside down and he is lost.

This is a good book and had me from the start.

Soul Kiss was not what I expected based on the beginning of the first few chapters. Kira had her moments when juggling her attraction and her duties to out and proud bad boy Dylan Drake. Dylan however, was a lost puppy searching for the missing bone while he fought his visceral physical attraction to his new bodyguard.
How can he be attracted to Kira after being gay for all these years?
Dylan and Kira make some crazy mistakes all while finding their way in a sexually charged circus of life.

I found this book HOT! And really confusing. I haven't read the other Forbidden Bad Boys book to get the understanding what these book are about. Maybe that's why confused with this book. I felt at the end of the book that Dylan still isn't sure he if is gay or bi. Whatever he is it was still hot.

M/F, a little M/M

How to even begin this review because Dylan and Kira are just absolutely crazy, but in a great way.

Dylan is GAY, I mean the man says it enough throughout the book that I do believe he is gay; however, it seems that one woman has upset his regular scheduled programming because now he has thing for his bodyguard, Kira. I know I shouldn't have laughed or taken so much enjoyment from Dylan's turmoil, but the man made it so hard not to with all running dialogue in his hea

I was excited about this book from the moment I knew it was being written.

Turning the often used GFY trope neatly on its head and having a man who’s always identified as gay falling for a woman is a wonderfully fresh new story, and I suspected if anyone could pull it off, it would be Clara Leigh. And boy, does she do it justice and then some.

Dylan’s confusion and subsequent refusal to entertain the fact that he is, in fact, bisexual, comes across so clearly, interspersed with bouts of page-seari

Dylan Drake knows exactly where he lies on the Kinsey scale. He’s been ‘out’ for over a decade, but when the studio behind his latest show insists on providing a female undercover bodyguard for a red carpet event he’s totally unprepared for what Kira Carter-Wells and her hot curves do to him.Kira’s mission is simple… Arrive late, depart early, and in between ensure her drop dead sexy charge stays out of trouble. Dylan Drake definitely captivated attention around him. His ability to enjoy life was something he coveted. When his life is threatened the studio hires Kira’s company to keep him safe. He’s been out for ten long years but his thoughts begin to change everything he is in Kira’s presence. The

Dylan is out, right?? Well, maybe so, but his equipment seems to respond unexpectedly with Kira! I love that Kira is a strong female character and ironically is Dylan's undercover bodyguard. When Dylan’s studio for his latest for insists on a female bodyguard for a red-carpet event he is surprised by Kira. Dylan has been “out” for over a decade but his attraction for Kira is undeniable. This read is fast-paced with loads of drama and suspense. I was hooked from beginning to end. I really liked both characters and their story is entertaining and steamy. A great read!
