Superglutes is a dreamboat. Theo was the best part of the book that had me laugh out loud and swoon all the way through. Kate Meader's heroes are always the most wonderful men. It's the heroines that sometimes give me a bit of a headache and this was the case with with mili

This is book two in the Rookie Rebels series, a spin-off from the Chicago Rebels series, and reunites us with two obviously-going-to-start-something non-couple from the background of book one's story, Elle Butler, army buddy of Levi Hunt's, and now bartender at the local team's bar, and Theo Kershaw, chatty sunshine defenseman with the bubble butt. And let me tell you, both of their backstories took me kinda by surprise.

This would've been an easy story to keep light and focus on the I-want-you-b

This was so much fun to read! I don't think the smile ever left my face, and there were plenty of laugh-out-loud moments thanks to Theo's hilarious and utterly charming personality. He was the perfect hero in every way! Full of witty banter, smokin' hot chemistry, and tons of heart, INSTACRUSH is one of my top reads of 2019. Meader continues to kill it with her hockey hunks, and I can't wait to read the next one! ...more

From Insta-crush to Insta-daddy ...

My hot hockey player neighbor is the most annoying man on the planet ... and I don't have a crush on him (okay, it's tiny, miniscule, not even worth talking about). But one sexy Santa visit, a plate of chicken parm, and a pair of dino-briefs later - don't ask - and we're celebrating the holidays horizontally. And that mistake leads to another: the pregnant kind. Oops.

My first surprise pregnancy romance! This was such a blast to write, especially because Theo "S

Okay. So.

I’m just going to need a minute to process all the ways I have fallen hopelessly, helplessly, wholeheartedly in love with Theo Kershaw.

Good. Gracious. This guy.

I mean, as if being a hunky hockey god with famously glorified superglutes wasn’t enough, he was also funny and sweet and so wonderfully steadfast in his feelings for Elle. He was the perfect balance of incorrigible flirt and swoonworthy romantic with just a smidge of growly alpha for good measure. He was perfection. Absolute per
Theo’s story was so much MORE than I was expecting! He’s such an extrovert and wears everything on his sleeve, but his deeper emotions, bossiness, and protective instincts came roaring out when it came to his feelings for Elle and their unexpected bundle. I admit, I simply adored getting to the core of what made Theo tick!

Elle was the polar opposite of Theo. Introverted, holding her feelings close to the heart, and kind of lost on what to do with her life. So what made them gel together? Elle c

Instacrush was an instalove for me!

Theo and his sunshine stole every scene in The Good Guy but now we get to see all his sides and they’re all as perfect as his superglutes! The minute he saw Elle he was a goner, and secretly so was she, now after a very hot holiday hookup they have to figure out each other, their feelings, their families, parenting, and playoff hockey!

Instacrush is a perfect addition to the world of the Chicago Rebels and even gives us a chance to catch up with some old friend

I fell in love with Theo in the previous Rebel Rookies book, and was so excited to get to know him better. If I were writing a "wanted" ad describing Theo, it would go something like this:

In search of an adorable goofball, who has fought his way back from devastating health issues. He must be sweet and big hearted, able cook, and adore his grandma. He should be willing to give his time and money to charitable causes, and be able steal my heart with his devilish grin.

With Instacrush, Kate Meader provides a sweet, sexy and fun addition to her Rookie Rebels series showcasing the ever optimistic NHL defenseman Theo Kershaw and the only woman who’s been able to resist his magnetic charm.

After surviving a life-threatening injury, Theo developed a voracious appetite for life. He’s back on the ice better than before and his Instagram feed is full of fun and sexy material everyone loves. Except, his gorgeous and grumpy neighbor who’s shown him nothing but aloofness.

Spicy, romantic, and downright addictive!

Instacrush is a lighthearted, passionate rom-com featuring the private, feisty Elle who may or may not be secretly crushing on the heartthrob with the killer buns who lives next door, and the sexy, charismatic Theo who may be more of a thoughtful, sweet, standup guy than anyone gave him credit for.

The writing is witty and playful. The characters are charming, gregarious, and endearing. And the plot is the perfect combination of family, friendship, temptat

I loved Theo ❤️ He is just so kind, loving, understanding, loyal... and probably way to perfect, but that's part of the perks in romance.
Elle was discharged from the army and now is trying to find out what to do for the rest of her life (I think she is 26 years old). Meanwhile, she decided to stay in Chicago with her friend Levi Hunt (I didn't read it, but the first book is about him), a hockey player just like Theo. And yes, that's how she gets to know him, because he lives right across from th

This installment lands somewhere between 2.5 and 3 stars.

The beginning was very promising and I loved the chemistry and easy banter between Elle and Theo but then it ventured into a trope that I'm not particularly fond of (one-night-stand followed by an accidental pregnancy).

Moreover, I felt like there was a bit too much back-and-forth going on between Theo and Elle? At times it was as if I've been rereading the same argument over and over again.

Anyway, overall this book has been a fun experienc

Basic math: one cinny roll of hockey player hero with fabulous glutes + one prickly, secretive heroine +cute ONS + surprise pregnancy = cute, if middle of the road, romance.

Theo Kershaw has been the easygoing, sweet guy with great hockey talent, but a brain aneurysm derailed his plans, ending up on the Chicago Rebels hockey team as a comeback kid. He’s adorable, the opposite of broody, and his sweetness is a contrast to Elle Butler’s cranky demeanor but I dig that. Speaking of, Theo’s been diggi

Kate Meader is an auto-buy author for me since I discovered her last year when a great friend recommended her books.
I don’t always enjoy a secret baby story but this book is different in so many ways and unexpected and so good!
It has a bit of everything, from steamy moments to laugh out loud ones ( hint: T-Rex / dinosaur jokes that cracked me up until I had tears in my eyes) to angsty moments when there are some hard and difficult decisions to be made so that they can find that well-deserved h

First I just want to say how perfect this title is for this book, with meaning on so many levels. Secondly, surprise baby books have a certain soap opera element which can make it hard to take them seriously. What the author does is heartily embrace the drama and use it to full advantage rather than shunning it, which makes this a fun joyride of a book. Mainly because Theo Superglutes Kershaw is just that, a gregarious, optimistic, extroverted drama queen who grabs life by the cojones with the b ...more

This book was completely delicious, and I loved it so much!! I can't get enough of these Rebels!

Theo Kershaw is a happy-go-lucky guy. He not only survived a brain aneurysm, but he's thrived, and found his way back to professional hockey again. He also has a sunny outlook, and his mind moves fast, as does his mouth. His new nickname is Superglutes, for his extraordinary backside, for which he struggles to buy pants that fit properly. But mostly, he's so happy to be alive that everything else is j

I am seriously in love with Theo Kershaw. When he arrived on the pages of Good Guy, I knew he was special. I just didn't know how special.

Theo Kershaw is a lucky man. He’s lucky to be able to play a sport he loves. He’s lucky to have the friends that he has. He’s lucky to have a grandmother who adores him. But more importantly, Theo Kershaw is lucky to be alive. Two years ago while playing a hockey game in front of thousands, Theo suffered a ruptured aneurysm that should have killed him.

Kate Meader is another author for me who excels at banter in her books and this one was one of my faves by her yet. Theo and Elle were both individually great characters which made this so much fun to read for me. I loved them both, they were polar opposites but it worked so well. I was in the mood for this type of push/pull type romance so it worked for me at the time. The storyline is so much more than what you expect. Theo, the hero here, knows how to work it, folks. Whether it be flashing his million dollar smile, nailing the Chicago Rebels hockey puck in the opponent’s net, or just coming across as Mr. Happy Go Lucky on instagram, this guy has it going on. But behind the hockey mask, famous, handsome face, and cocky, carefree facade is a damaged heart secretly yearning to be loved unconditionally.

If you'd follow hockey player Theo Kershaw on social networks, you'd probably think ladie's man, attention whore, serial dater. The Defennseman certainly have a touch with the ladies, and he won't deny he loves the attention, but he's no fuckboy. And his new neighbor is about to learn just how much serious and dependable Theo can be.

Kate Meader's brought her A game out with Instacrush book two in her Rookie Rebels series!

Theo "Superglutes" Kershaw went from lovable super pest to one amazing hero when this author started digging below his surface of charming mayhem. Theo kept a steady stream of surprises coming as he showed himself to be a man of substance and far from the superficial man he had been labeled by many. The biggest heart in hockey... Theo Kershaw was an absolute delight to read, his unfiltered chatter, friendly and hilarious banter and his pleasantly surprising sensitive insight is what makes him an amazing character.

OMG! I loved this book! This book has all my requirements for a great sports romance: hot hockey player; humor; steam level through the roof; and finally wonderful characters. What I loved most about this book was Theo. Theo is kind, caring, a little goofy and hot. In the prologue, you learn that Theo was a rookie playing for an LA hockey team when he has a near fatal brain aneurism. After 18 months of rehab and 6 months of working out, he is back on the ice with the Chicago Rebels. Realizing th ...more
Kate has a knack for creating delicious, utterly lovable heroes and she did it again with Theo Kershaw. He’s funny, open, sexy, sensitive, caring, and smart in his own way. Pairing him with Elle Butler, his opposite in many ways - private, shy, fiercely independent- was an inspired choice. I enjoyed the way they navigated their differences to get to their eventual happy ending even though at times, I shouted at Elle for keeping secrets and at Theo for being so perfect. I loved the appearance of ...more

Theo can put things on pause when needed, “we’re heading to the airport now, so I’ll take a raincheck on the phone ***. I love this book so much! Theo is so upbeat and optimistic and Elle is his opposite, but she's trying to see the world through his eyes... It's also an unplanned pregnancy trope book and it's done so well! Ms. Meader can write anything and I will read it :)

Her expression was pitying. "Poor Superglutes, aren't you getting enough attention from your millions of Instagram followers? Is it lonely being adored by all your fans?"
"Very! All they see is this amazing body and gorgeous hair and beautiful cheekbones. Sure, I'm hilarious and great in bed, but do they appreciate it? Do you appreciate it?”
“An extra hour on the treadmill tomorrow," he said, patting his naked abs.
She was pouring wine and missed the glass.
He grinned.
"Can it," she grated.
"They're just abs, Elle-oh-Elle, and you claim to be so above it all."
She pushed a glass his way. "No one likes a braggart, Kershaw.”
