This review is more of a snapshot impression; I am still learning from this book and -- given my limited guitar skills -- I will continue to learn for a long time. I needed a book that could teach me extended chord progressions up the neck, and most important put them in context for me, so I can incorporate them in my practice and performances. This is a well-illustrated clearly-written treasure trove of guitar chord information, and I can recommend it for those who like me learned the basic chords and want to branch out from there.

Covers a lot of ground. More than just a chord book/library. Very logical progression from basic to more advanced material and concepts. First 20 or so pages would be good for a beginner, and could serve as basic material to be accompanied by YouTube videos or a teacher. And then advances logically from there.

just went through another quick re-read of this always useful book...
and I always find some voicings I wasn't aware of (or I just forgot...)
