Phoebe Davis, the Rose Chalet's florist, knows nothing is permanent - not the floral arrangements she creates, not the weddings she helps produce, and certainly not her parents' marriage which ended in a bitter divorce. Certain that all relationships come with strings attached, she has always worked to live for the moment and not to have any ties - ever.Risking big is how Patrick left the family landscaping business, was the first Knight to graduate from college, and became an in demand architect. In California for a short while to work on a new home, from the very first moment he holds Phoebe in his arms, he knows he's found his perfect match in the adventurous, alluring and intelligent florist. But will Phoebe dare let herself risk her heart on the most fragile and precious bloom of all? Especially when one dance with Patrick Knight is all it takes for her to start rethinking everything she's ever believed to be true about love
Phoebe liked dancing with Patrick, and would like more. The enviable breakup she could do without, motto enjoy living without having anyone special. Patrick, a dance, she was perfect, now how to convince her. Cute enjoyable story
Good light read, but way too short for my liking. I would expect the time frame to be bigger.
Basically it was okay but I was disappointed with the ending and the whole complication seemed more like a bump in the road than a deal breaker. I might recommend this book but I would warn that person not to expect too much from it and not to try to make sense of it, and just really enjoy it without asking herself/himself too many questions.

The Wedding Dance, by Lucy Kevin is a sweet beautiful book. It’s wonderfully written. I was instantly swept away by the blossoming romance between Patrick and Phoebe. Lucy, candidly touched on the heart warming topics that are involved when two people come together to jump on that emotional roller coaster called love. I recommend this book. I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free gifted copy.
This was a lot cuter than the first book, but the first book was pretty cute. I loved all the little dates that they would do together. I also do like that we are getting to see more of the other people that other books will be based on. I really can't wait for RJ and Rose's book and I kinda wish Julie and Andrew would have made a cameo, maybe in the other books.
This is a cute fun series I would recommend if you're looking for a quick read they are very very short box compared to what I listen to but they have a good storyline so far
Not sure why Phoebe was so reluctant, just didn’t get the vibe for her reasoning. Loved Patrick, he knew from the first moment he met her. But everything happens in two weeks, which is a bit unbelievable with Phoebes attitude and thinking. Weird having the Marge situation. Her wanting everything exactly the same for all three of her weddings. Obviously doesn’t believe in bad luck. Wearing the same dress, having the same flowers, just yuk. Rinse and repeat until you get it right I suppose. Hope she had prenups with them all. Read in the box set.
A sweet easy read about a wedding venue florist who didn't believe in love but one man believed enough for both of them.
Quick easy read, sweet romance, I guess I am becoming a cynic when it comes to romance - sort of like the heroine of this story - I don't see how it can happen this fast. Perhaps one day I will find my Patrick to prove otherwise.
I was a little let down by this one. The author seemed like she rushed the story and it made some of the scenes feel like they all blended together. The characters were fun, we briefly met Paige in the previous book, but overall it just wasn't the same feel as book 1. I will read book 3 for sure, but wanted more from this one. It was much shorter than I had hoped.
Perfect book for the person looking for a quick read light hearted romance without the descriptive sex scenes. More of the next door kind of girl romance. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Phoebe is to The florist extraordinaire at the Rose Chalet. She is very afraid of falling in love because of fear of them walking away. Patrick is RJ's brother and danced with Phoebe at a wedding and fell for her but she doesn't know what to do.
I've read all five books in the series, and they all get the same review. Mix together a stupid woman, a perfect man, and never figuring out why he falls for her. These are short and sweet, read one or watch a Hallmark movie, same time, same story.
The very cynical Phoebe is attracted to Patrick who wants more then a quick fling. Rose is annoying at times with her insistence that love doesn’t last. Patrick doesn’t agree and that causes some major bumps. This is a slow sweet build on a happily ever after romance.
This was a bit too insta-love for me! Way too rushed to the HEA on this one. Definitely wanted a bit more of a developed relationship. But I like the setting, the main and secondary characters, and the idea of the story.
It was part of a set. I liked it much better than the first story. The mother and supportive cast were great additions to the story. It was very hard to understand the complicated relationship between the mother and daughter. The brother Patrick had a lot more patience than I would. My favorite scene was the probably when all 3 of them were working in the garden. My other favorite scene is when Phoebe starrts hunting for a particular flower, and realizes why she had wanted to be a wedding florist. Can't wait for rose's story. It was a summer beach, enjoyable read. I enjoyed the paperback version of this book. After reading this story, and the wedding dance I can state these are my two favorite books by kevin lucy.
Read my whole at my blog for the anthology of Say I do that has this story in it.
I love it when three women and three men so unlike one another come together. Have to say Lucy Kevin made me a believer in romance from these two gorgeous men. My favorite of the whole anthology have to say will be The Wedding Gift. I loved that Andrew may seem cocky at first but when it comes to his woman he is a whole different man. Lucy Kevin definitely has a winner in this book and can’t wait for her other stories.
