I really enjoyed these novels. I thought they had a sense of realism that many historical novels do not have. Things were portrayed as they would have happened in the Victorian era and not in our ideal of Victorian times. The stories are well done and the characters are compelling and I look forward to reading book four in this series.
Covid 19 Rescue!
In this time of pandemic lockdown and isolation the joy of finding an escape in Victorian Dublin was a lifesaver. I loved these novels, they allowed for a few hours respite each day.
