I loved this one. It was sweet and heartwarming!
Down on her luck, Abby Everhart is moving to a small town in North Carolina to start over. In her great aunt's will, Abby has inherited the Honeysuckle Farm. Beggars can't be choosers and after living in her car in L.A. for the last six months, she's ready for a change. In tow with her dog, Bella and her luggage, she takes an uber ride to her aunt's property. When she arrives, she realizes this is more than she bargained for. Still, her idea is ...more

I took a chance. It didn't work out. I only made it a chapter, but that was enough to learn that Abby is an idiot, a clutz, a little bit mean about her sisters, and a liar. It's not helping that I'm being asked to believe that yet another divorcee of a cheating rich guy ended up not only with nothing, but also lost her career and friends to boot. This is not a thing. Cheating men are reviled across the spectrum and there are flocks of very talented folks who are eager to help wronged women extra

Such a heartwarming romance novel. It's one of those novels that make you want to curl up in bed with a cozy quilt.
The main characters in the book are well developed. You have Abby, that you love and hate at the same time. Abby is overly exuberant, a chatterbox, and charming at the same time. Then you have Hunter, who is the stoic, masculine veteran. Abby and Hunter are the most unlikely match up. But what develops between them can be likened to the push-pull of magnets. This is the 1st book of a new series and can not wait to read the rest.
Abby is moving to NC after a bitter divorce that she ended up losing everything. She found out she inherited a small farm by her great aunt.
Hunter also inherited half the farm. He was in the military and is wallowing in guilt and wants to be left alone. Paired up with Abby, who is chatterbox and clumsy, he wants to just hide.

I loved this book! I don't believe I've read this author before but I'm glad I found her. This was a wonderful romance that left me in happy tears. There was some mystery, lots of laughs, and a few angry moments where you felt bad for all of the crap that people piled on Abby. Abby is so sweet and lovable and the perfect match for the gruff, HOT Hunter. I love the setting of the Highlands of NC. They always seem so otherwordly and beautiful when reading about them. I really enjoyed the relations

I can remember a time when starting a new series by a beloved author messed up my whole world. I hated leaving such loved characters. I didn't think I'd be able to fall for a whole new group. It took a few special authors to help me get over my fear. Debbie Mason is one of those authors.

Ehhh. It's been a while since I read a small town romance, so I kind of enjoyed that aspect of it and I liked the heroine. She got to be a fully rounded character. But overall the book was just kind of there. I didn't really understand why the aunt hated her and then didn't and then did again.
The standing stones stuff was weird and maybe insensative.
Thanks to NetGalley for the book!

With each book she writes, Debbie Mason further cements her place on my author auto-buy list. I enjoyed her Christmas, Colorado series and fell in love with her Harmony Harbor characters and their journeys to love. I was so sad to see Harmony Harbor end and skeptical that Mason could create new characters I would love as much as the Gallaghers and DiRossis but, you know what? I just finished reading an ARC of Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge, the (May 26) book that will launch her new Highland Falls

Summer On Honeysuckle Ridge was the perfect book for me to hunker down under a blanket and devour.
Hunter and Abby's story is flirty yet frustrating, as they snap and bite at each other (in a non kinky way!)
Our girl Abby has had a crappy year, but she is the epitome of "when life throws you lemons, make lemonade." She doesn't let anyone or anything get her down, and when you learn her history, you can't help but love her more.

Debbie Mason has created another delightful series for her readers, with
Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge.
In this story we meet Abby Everhart, a woman who has lost just about everything and has just discovered that she has inherited her great-aunt's homestead. Newly divorced and unemployed, so this could not have come at a better time for her. She certainly doesn't want to live in the quaint little town. All Abby plans on doing is to fix up the house, put it on the market, and return to L.A. and

Ohhh my!!!! My first thoughts after I finished this book was oh wow! I need more!!! The story ends with such a great HEA. I mean seriously I need book 2 in the series NOW. I wasn't sure what to expect. The blurb sounded good but you never know. Then I started reading and I honestly didn't want to stop. This is one of those stories where you'll want to hid in the bathroom for hours so you can read and somehow don't be interrupted. Yes it's one of those reads. I didn't know how it would end, I wor

Debbie Mason is a new author to me, and I can’t wait to read more of her books! Abby is a successful influencer from LA. I love that she had such a current job. Unfortunately for Abby, she has just gone through a difficult and financially devastating divorce. She inherited a house in North Carolina. from a distant aunt that she didn’t know, and headed to NC check it out. Her immediate goal was to fix the house up, sell it, and head back to LA. She hadn’t factored in Hunter, who apparently also l

Another great book by Debbie Mason. This book has great characters and a wonderful story line. From the beginning of the book to the very end you will have a lot of mixed emotions.

This is my first Debbie Mason book and it hit all the points I look for in a good book. I will definitely be checking out more of her books!
Abby has recently inherited her great aunts homestead on Honeysuckle Ridge, which comes at the perfect timing as she’s just now an unemployed media influencer, divorced and living out of her car. This is my first time reading Debbie Mason, and I must say that she had my undivided attention from the get go. The writing is very fluid and alive. Since the setting is in NC, where I live, it was easy for me to envision.
Abby Everhart had it all, and then she had nothing but her little dog Bella that is until a long lost relative that she had never met left her a cabin in the woods of NC. What's a city girl with nothing to her name to do except travel from CA to NC to see how much she could sel ...more

Reading Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge was such an enjoyable experience that I was sad it had to end. Abby's life in LA had imploded and she found out by chance that she had inherited her great aunt's property in Highland Falls, NC. When she arrives at the property, she discovers hunky Hunter also inherited half of the property.

This is the first book I have read by Debbie Mason and I am glad I did! What an entertaining book! I enjoyed the main character's antics throughout the book, sometimes she was downright laugh-out-loud funny, however, some events were a little far fetched. But it worked as a good read overall. I see all these 4 and 5 star reviews and I can't believe we read the same book. I did give up at about 21%. Between the plethora of cliches and stereotypes and the constant humiliation of Abby, the female MC, I just can't. What I did read was fast and light, quick to read, but I just want to throw my Kindle across the room. So I'm done. Bye bye Honeysuckle Ridge!

This book was entertaining, fun and lighthearted. Abby is a former YouTube star down on her luck. She inherits her aunt’s farm and decides to stay there until she can sell it and get back on her feet. She arrives to find she had a neighbor. Hunter is former military and a definite loner. The two clash from the start as Abby tries to deal with her aunt’s home.

Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge by Debbie Mason is a delightful story set in Highland Falls, NC. I wanted Abby to recover her life after she had been mistreated and cheated by her ex-husband. This will be a very nice beach or weekend read. I love the area where the story is set, and I enjoy reading things with have a Scottish background in the plot. I adore heroines with a sweet dog, too!

I had a little trouble believing the story, but I did like the characters and setting. It didn't seem flushed out enough, since Hunter didn't even talk to his family. The ending left it open for many more stories to come in this series. The rest of the characters are very likable and the next books will be ones that I want to read to see what they are up to.

This summery romance tale set in North Carolina immerses us in the highly active life of a quirky heroine. Indeed, the only issue I'd have with the book is that too much happens all in one tale, some as location background, and some should be kept back for later books in the series.
