This was and enjoyable read and we loved Virgil,Mila and Devon and their story.
I always pick a favorite character that stands out and my favorite this time around was Virgil because he always seemed almost unapproachable most of the time but, when it came to spending time with both Mila and Devon he was anything but.We loved Devon and Virgil's interactions and so forth whether Virgil realized it or not he was taking on the role of a parent while also extending friendship to a boy who seemed to be a little bit lost.
We loved the chemistry between Mila and Virgil because if you just entered a room you could feel it between them but, Mila is constantly Waring with both her heart and mind but, with very good reasons to be that way after the situation she has found herself in but, one thing is for sure is Virgil has met his match in Mila and he is addicted to her sassiness.
I really loved Mila and Virgil together they were super sweet together and even when she was trying to avoid him she was constantly drawn to the cocky alpha biker so much so her attempts made us smile.
Overall we felt it was a heart felt story and the characters we easy to love and as always we love all the teasing and so forth among the clubs members added with a bit of suspense and bitter betrayal and unanswered questions about Virgil's brother created a bit of a mystery so much so we want answers too it was the perfect read to pass the time.

Milia and her son Devon move across the street from Vigil, the Vicious Vipers MC President. Devon instantly befriends Vigil but Milia is keeping him at a distance. Although she is afraid for her and her son to be around Vigil and his MC life, Vigil is determined to find out what has her so scared and make her his.
This book was my favorite of the series. From the moment I started reading the book I was hooked. Lynn draws the reader into the story from the first page and has them eager to see what will happen next. Although Vigil wants Milia I love that he continues to be a friend to her and her son. I felt the attraction between the two and was anxious for Milia to give in to him. I think the way we slowly got more and more information about her past made it even better. Great job Lynn Burke!

I have waited patiently for Vigils story and boy did it make me happy. Mila and her son are in hiding because of her ex. Vigil is the protector and he knows that they need it. She is a tough woman but she definitely needs love and her son. Excellent writing. Fabulous storyline. A must read.

Mila & her son, Devon, were on the run because her ex will kill them if her finds them. They ended up moving in next door of Vigil, President of the Vicious Vipers, which was the best thing she could do. However, she doesn't want anything to do with any bikers but her son is fascinated with Vigil, who is getting attached to the amazing kid of hers. They start spending a bunch of time together while Mila keeps her walls up, I mean trusting the wrong person could get them killed so it was understandable, but Vigil is determined. This story was so amazing, gripped me from the jump, had funny interactions making me laugh hard, and kept me on the edge of my seat while devouring. The chemistry was palpable shooing sparks in every direction, and it won't be denied for long. So, can Vigil get past Mila's walls in order to protect them?! And will Mila & her son be found?! You'll have to hit those one click buttons to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

OMG I love the Vicious Vipers series and I can't wait to read what's to come , I think Brutal Beast has to by favorite they just keep getting better and better . I know I'm going to fall for a book when I'm hooked from page on there wasn't a time were I put my kindle down so happy it charged and reading though out the night was well worth it . Loved the connection that the couple shared they were just perfect for one another the chemistry was really electric and just made me want more . I can't wait to read what's to come by the author and of the series .

'The Vicious Vipers in going to be the MC series for 2020 of that I have no doubt'. -Worldofbooks65 (after reading the Warden the first book in this series)
Now into book 5 and I haven't been proved wrong each book I read in this series is unique and deserves their 5* review. Each man of the Vicious Vipers MC has their own wonderful story to be told; each story completely different; each story telling how the MC dish out their own justice to those that deserve it - without regret without remorse! Each brother deserving of the women now by their side proud to be an 'Ole Lady' within the Vicious Vipers MC.
Brutal Beast is the turn of the President of the MC Vigil he lives for his club and his men they are his family. But while all his brothers are finding their women Vigil has been happy making sure his club is safe - his one issue is his VP Ricky his own flesh and blood who has lost his way and Vigil doesn't know how to help him - it was time for hard love Vigil only hopes it's enough.
From the first moment Mila saw her new neighbour she knew she was in trouble she has always had a thing for large red head men and Vigil fits that bill - but Mila and her 15 son Devon are in witness protection and she needs to keep away from this big powerful biker but her son and Vigil have other ideas!

Vigil was the Prez of the Vicious Vipers MC had enough on his plate dealing with his alcoholic, VP brother, Ricky. He had to give Ricky the ultimatum either get sober or turn in his colors. Ricky turned in his colors before Vigil knew of his decision and left his brother wondering if he would ever see him again.
A beautiful woman moved in next door which caught Vigil’s attention until he seen she had a teenage son. He didn’t need any baggage in his life because club bunnies did what he needed and after Ricky breaking his heart he wasn’t ready for more. Mila was on the run with her son hiding from her abusive ex-husband biker by being put in the witness protection program. Devon has a love for bikes and Vigil sure got his attention riding past. At first Devon was hired by Vigil to mow his lawn for him and that was the beginning of a bond that gave me all the “feels” I wanted from those two. Now Vigil was working his way into Mila’s life and with the chemistry between them and the respect that Vigil showed Mila her walls were breaking down. But for how long would Mila stay safe before her ex found her and just who was behind the betrayal?
This was an intense MC book that highlighted on the love a biker can have for those who have touched him and the lengths he would go to in order to protect them. As for Mila I loved the way she loved her son and Devon for the way he loved his mom. This is another great addition to the Vicious Vipers MC series and I can’t wait for the next book!!

Mila and Vigil
She was new to the neighborhood. She had a teenage son. She had no past. At least not one they could find. Was she running from the cops or hiding from someone? Vigil was going to find out and not just because he always checked out newcomers. Oh, he was checking her out alright. And her kid, nothing like the usual teen boy. She'd done a good job with him. Too bad she seemed to have a thing about bikers. And not the I want you kinda thing.
Mila was just plain scared. Yeah, he was hot, really hot. Her son really liked him and that scared her. She knew about bikers. She was running from one.
As MC president he was used to giving orders and having them taken. Wasn't gonna work with Mila. Making friends with and gaining the trust of her son was a start. It was obvious they both were attracted. Did he have the patience to win her? Could he protect her from the man she feared?
I really enjoyed this story. The little older couple, the teen kid, and his relationship with the kid whose feelings about his mother dating are just some of the reasons it is so good. It's got plenty of steam, some club action, and great characters. I know I'll be reading it again.

This was my first book by Lynn Burke, and she did not disappoint. I absolutely loved this story about Vigil and Mila. I have read a few MC books before but I really love how the author explained certain customs in a MC gang. This story started out with a tragedy where Mila and Devon had to be under witness protection.... Mila had put her ex-husband in jail as appearing as a witness in his trial... she ended up across the street from the President of the Vipers!
Vigil and Mila's worlds collide. Devon seeking to look for a "father figure", Mila not trusting herself with another biker as she was badly burned the first time and decided all bikers were the same! Until her ex-husband catches wind as to where she is located and hunts her down for blood!

Viper digs into the mystery of his neighbors and begins to understand the danger they are running from. His protective instincts kick into high gear to ensure the wildcat next door stays safe.
Fabulous building of the relationship. We all could use a neighbor like this!! I love that the relationship with the son is built just as strongly as the relationship with the mom. Wonderful addition to this splendid series!

Vigil is the President of the MC Vicious Vipers. He is a protective leader who takes care of business when those who should don’t give a damn. Vigil meets the new neighbors, Mila and Devon, and instantly feels their apprehensive, or is it fear. Regardless of his efforts to find out more about them he senses something isn’t right. Devon becomes his friend and Mila becomes his new obsession.
Damn! Vigil and Mila form a bond that runs deeper than either imagined. Will Mila be able to trust Vigil enough and accept his protection?

Absolutely loved this book! Vigil & Michelle have a pull towards each other. I was happy to see although there’s attraction that things were led up to, they didn’t just jump in bed. Dillion... funny kid who helps keep things interesting. I love the bond Vigil has with him, even before Michelle really starts coming around.
I love how Vigil stays honest & loyal. No cheating or screw ups. I can’t wait to find out what happens with Ricky.

A mother running from her past and trying to protect her son, Mila has suffered and doesn't trust bikers. Vigil is determined to make her his. When they finally come together it is epic and swoon worthy. I loved it from beginning to end.

I’m so glad Vigil got his own HEA. He met his match in Mila, her sassy, fiery but sweet spirit tamed the wild beast inside of him. It was nice to see a softer, more gentle side of him. This book had the perfect amount of action, suspense, and of course steam. I enjoyed every moment of this story.

Vigil!!! Omg where do I start! Let's see....
First off the suspense in this book was to die for. Holy hell I could NOT put this book down once I started! I loved Vigil and "Michelle" but "Dillon" really made this book! The author made me feel like these characters could be someone I know and I loved that. The were all so lovable. This book didn't give much of an update of past characters like the rest but it made up for it with the story starting on Ricky. Ok now onto the important part! The SEX scenes! This book was kinda a slow burn but with the sexy flirty talk and self pleasure of each main adult character it didn't feel like it. And damn were the sex scenes hot as 🔥. Let me just say, my hubby loves this series and he hasn't read one word from any of the books 😜. These books will get your blood boiling and ready to get down lol.
Overall another amazing book my Lynn! I can't wait for Ricky's book next!

I love a good single-mom romance, and this one has grit too! Vigil is just the kind of man Mila (Michelle) wants to avoid. However due to his friendship and support that he offers her son, she is warming to thoughts that she didn’t think she could even imagine anymore. Vigil is everything wrong and everything right to make this single mom know love. His friendship with Devon made my heart melt. But this bad boy MC President has one heck of a naughty mouth, that had me flushing a few times. CW:18+ 4.5/stars

I really liked this book in the series, it didn’t seem to sensationalize things as much as the other books. Mila and her son Dill are down to earth characters who are trying to hide from their past. Vigil and Mila are instantly attracted to one another, but take things slow. Dill and Vigil become good friends and he is treated more like an adult than a child. I am excited to read the conclusion of this series.

This was my introduction into this series by Lymm. Milan and her son are on the run from an abuser and move in next to Vigil, who is the prez of the Vipers. There's action and drama with some sexy times too. Good read!

5 stars all the way!! Vigil . . . Man ooh man, loved this guy! Loved his respect for Mila. He wasn't a alpha ass h***. Don't get me wrong , he is definitely all alpha & I wud love to have him in my life. Haven't read the series but I definitely will.

f you are like me,, and have read this series from the beginning (which I would hope you have), Vigil has always been someone I wanted to know more about as the President of the Vicious Vipers. To know that he mows his own lawn and doesn't have one of the prospects do it was interesting to me. Made him more like a real man. I felt for him having to deal with his brother. and how he looked at the couples at the club and have feelings. He endeared himself to me then. They way he interacts with Dillon, who I love to death, really showed his soft side. The fact that he had a thing for Dillon's mom had nothing to do with it. Michelle is hiding out from her past. And of course she ended up in the backyard of what she was running from. Thankfully, Vigil was nothing like her ex. Vigil is just hard enough to make Michelle's heart flutter, yet soft enough to fall in love with her. I really enjoyed this story. I look forward to Ricky's story.

Vigil has been an enigma for the most part during this series. We never really see these men for who they really are until it’s their time to shine in their own book.
Mila and her son Devon are on the run and find themselves living next door to Vigil. Devon befriends Vigil and Vigil can’t keep his eyes off Mila.
Mila is a tough cookie to crack for him. He has noticed the way she behaves or how they slip in their lies and it doesn’t take him long to figure out that they are running. He figures out pretty quickly too why they are running.
Vigil is struggling with everything in his life and taking care of Devon and Mila will give him solace during this crazy time. He loves them both and wants nothing more for them to be his family. He just has to take out their monster first.

Lynn Burke writes such vivid characters and such raw emotions, that we are literally drawn into this MC world.
Vigil has found a wildcat by the name of Michelle, but all is not as seems and she keeps him at arm’s length. She is will do all within her power to protect her teenage son. But the heart knows what it wants. Vigil has to be patient and woo her. Once truths are brought forth, it will take all his brother to protect his woman and her son.
I just loved every bit of the angst between these two characters, from page one they draw you in. Each one pulling at your heartstrings when they share their demons. But also how the sexual tension rises and rises between until it combusts. Vigil is an Alpha to the core, I love his protective instinct and his relationship with her son.

Brutal Beast by Lynn Burke is book 5 in the Vicious Vipers MC Series. This is the story of Vigil and Mila. I think reading the previous books added to my enjoyment of this one but I do feel you can make it a standalone book if you wish to do so. Vigil is the President of the Vicious Vipers and has witness he fellow brother find their old ladies along with happiness. So he is envious of it but has his issue keeping his trouble real life brother Ricky in line. But when his new neighbor moves in with her teenage son he starts to think he might have find his old lady. But Mila and her son are running from trouble and Mila is doing all she can to protect her son. So she thinks that Vigil might be a danger to them at first. Enjoyed their story.

Each book in this series just gets better. Vigil and Michelle have pasts and Michelle is running from hers in the form of an abusive ex. Vigil doesn't want anymore trouble after having to deal with his brother but when Michelle's son sees the motorcycle, all bets are off. The relationship builds slowly instead of just jumping right in and I really liked that. Will these two be able to form a lasting relationship or is her ex going to get to her first? And who is behind the betrayal? All will be answered when you get this book and read it!! And you really should get it because like I said, this series gets better with each one!!

Author Lynn Burke is an amazing story teller, if you haven't read anything by her yet than you don't know what you're missing. I would recommend Brutal Beast in a heartbeat, it's a five star read all the way.

I am in awe of this author’s writing. Each story in this series get better and better! Vigil and Mila are two broken souls, but can they heal each other? Mila is on the run from an abusive ex when her son spots Vigil’s motorcycle and it’s all over from there. Mila and Devon find themselves living next-door to Vigil so he befriends Devon and can’t keep his eyes off of Mila. I absolutely love how Vigil treats Devon throughout the story despite having his own troubles with his real life brother. Will Mila let her guard down enough to let Vigil in, or will her ex find her and wreak havoc on the only peace that she knows?

This is the 5th book in this awesome series and is the Vipers President Vigil and Mila’s story. Mila is on the run from her abusive ex-husband, and is in witness protection with her teenage son, and the last thing she need is to be attracted to her new neighbour Vigil. The chemistry between these two is explosive, but will Vigil be able to protect her when her past comes knocking? This is a well written story which has me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all MC lovers.
