D&O: The Magazine maintains it’s status as one of the very best indie crime fiction mags available. Kudos to editor Rick Ollerman for selecting or extracting ten standout stories of consistent quality—front cover to back. And J. Kingston Pierce’s piece on Erle Stanley Gardner is an equally fine nonfiction complement to round out the package. Read ‘em here first before they end up in Penzler’s Best Mystery Stories.
