I dove into this story not knowing anything about it and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed reading it. Easy to Remember by Bailie Hantam is one of those reads that pulls you in until it's over. But what got me with the suspense I wasn't expecting to feel.
Right from the start we are off running with Tariq at a young age and hitting a major pitfall in his life. Years later we catch up with Tariq and enters Mila who at a young age encountered a tragic accident that turns her life on a different path.
So when Tariq and Mila are working an event together chemistry, sparks and all that sizzling steam starts to jump off the pages.
Oh, don't forget the plot twist that happens!
Easy to read, the story flows nonstop and details that just make reading this story so much more enjoyable.

Wow what a fantastic book! Gripping from the get go this one had me wanting more and more. Many twists and turns I didn't see coming and I did not see that ending.coming. This book had the action, romance and heat that was exactly what I needed and I can't wait for more.
Tariq Salie was an up and coming musician with a big future ahead of him when he made a very bad decision to sleep with the wife of the record executive who just signed him on a recording deal. He gets caught, and his future in the music business is over. Fast forward a few years and he is mostly out of the music business, and is working as a bodyguard/investigator for Ward Security under the cover of doing A/V work for a conference, when he meets Mila Evans. Mila was in a car accident several years earlier, and can’t remember anything about her earlier life prior to the accident. There is an instant attraction within both of these characters. Both are wary of anything deep, so they decide to have a 2-week long fling. This conference and other similar conferences have become a target for a group that seems to be abducting young women from these conferences and placing them in a sexual slavery ring. Ward Security wants to stop the leaders of this ring and keep each of the attendees safe.
This book is very action oriented. The pacing is fast and the tension ramps up from the start. These characters have each been hurt, and they each have a lot of baggage to deal with. The combination of both protagonists is wonderful, as each helps the other face their past, and each brings out something new in the other. The conflicts and issues are clearly defined, and the actions that each character takes are consistent throughout the story. This book was hard to put down! Mila’s past is slowly revealed, as is Tariq’s. There are some surprise revelations toward the end, which add a nice dose of warmth to the story.
Wow! This was an intense, enjoyable read! Bailie’s writing reaches a new level in this book, and there were very few errors found as well. This is Bailie’s best work yet!
Easy To Remember has plenty of romance, suspense and steam – what more could you want in a book? Bailie Hantam has bought a whole new world to life with the first instalment of her brand new “The Agency” series.
Mila can’t remember anything from her younger years after a terrible accident changed her life and left her without a family. With a group of strong female friends around her, she has moved on with her life and is getting by on her own. Meeting Tariq has made her question her safe little life and has her considering diving into the unknown and maybe even wanting to remember her life before the accident.
Tariq is the big strong alpha male who has worked hard to rebuild his life after a silly mistake took his dream of being a musician away from him. He joined a security firm and now helps to make the world a better place one bad guy at a time. Mila is a reminder of what he has lost (and had loved so dearly) – music. Their karaoke performance was pure steam and left me wanting so much more of them together.
After meeting on the job, the pair are instantly drawn to one another and quickly a deal is struck for a temporary fling. A not so welcome blast from the past threatens to turn everything upside down and forces painful memories to re-emerge.
I had the pleasure of reading an early copy of this book and loved every minute. I hated having to put it down and return to reality, I wish I could have stayed holed up in South Africa until the very end. This was a beautifully written story, I can’t wait to read the rest of this series 😍
Easy to lose hours reading this 5 Star book! In releasing Easy to Remember, Bailie Hantam has hit another 5-star home run. While it is a part of Kristin Proby’s Boudreaux Universe, and the first in her new series entitled, The Agency, we have already met a number of the characters in Ms Hantam’s previous books. While each book is a stand-a-lone, preceding stories in the 30 Something in the City Series give a little background into not only the main characters, but the secondary ones who all have an input into this book. If you haven’t read them, it’s no drama, Ms Hantam introduces everyone perfectly, and you won’t get lost.
I’ve read and loved all of Ms Hantam’s books, so I know the connections and I won’t be speaking as to the blurb of this one. I’m talking about the writing style of our esteemed author. She has a particular writing style as individual as one’s own fingerprints, she doesn’t give things away willy-nilly, nor does she spoon fed the plot to the reader in any way. You need to pay attention as you read, or you’ll be missing some of the little breadcrumbs or ‘Easter eggs’, that she likes to toss around, that are windows into an upcoming book, or sneaky peeks from another perspective into others.
Wheels moving within wheels, there’s a lot happening in Easy to Remember, and the chemistry between our main characters is on point. Tariq and Mila are on fire together. They match, and they bring out the best in each other, past and present. Read the book and you’ll see what I mean. Seriously people. 5 stars 🖤
Easy To Remember is set in Kristen Proby's Beaudreaux Universe. This is the first time that I've read anything by Bailie Hantam and I really like her writing. Mila has had a memory loss since the car accident when she was 17 and it killed her parent. Little does she know that her memory loss puts her in danger. Tariq was on the cusp of being big in the music business then he made a mistake of sleeping with the producer's wife. The producer made sure that Tariq was blackballed so he went to work for the Ward Security company to protect women in danger of being taken for sexual slavery. Little do Mila and Tariq know that their attraction for each other will put Mila in more danger. This story has a lot of twists and turns that makes it more than just a romance story. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest opinion of this book.
This was an engaging, twisting, interesting book to read. Mila and Tariq are two unique characters who have pasts that bond them together. Getting to the part where they that they share a past is what this storyline is all about and it is quite interesting and intense. Bailie writes an amazing storyline with these two. I absolutely loved each page turning moment. Tariq meets Mila at a conference that the two are attending. There is intense instant chemistry between these two. But Mila is hiding something from him. Something happened when she was younger and she has no memory of her younger years. That ladies and gentlemen is the interesting part of this storyline. As she starts having flashbacks she realizes that she may know Tariq more than she thinks. But will her past comes back to haunt her and change her future? Will she get the answers that she needs? Will her and Tariq get a future? This is an amazing read. I highly recommend this one as I loved the chemistry between Mila and Tariq and how Bailie hooks you from the beginning to the end.
A departure for the author away from simple romance. This is a romantic mystery, the romance and passion are just as good as her other novels with added spice. The hero is an under cover investigator with a post he’s trying to forget. The heroine is a smart conference organiser (helping women escape accusative relationships) but she too has a painful post she cannot remember. Unless she can open up and try to remember, both she and her new love interest are in serious danger Nice action with lots of adventure. The dialogue is fun and full of great banter just as we expect from the Johannesburg series with plenty of interesting side characters. And a really great sexy love story.
Tariq and Mila fit together so well, it's as if they've known each other forever even though they just met. Their romance was sweet and steamy, while all around them secrets and danger lurked from a shared enemy that neither of them knew they had. Their relationship brings out the best in each of them, allowing them to fulfill dreams they'd thought were long forgotten.
This was a delightful, easy to fall into romance that instantly captivated me and kept me reading straight through. There's just enough action and suspense to keep things interesting, and the eventual resolution was satisfying and thorough. Their HEA was everything I hoped for. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I am new to Bailie Hantam and love Kristen Proby so this was a great opportunity to try a new to me author. And I am a fan. I loved it. Tariq and Mila have off the charts heat and chemistry. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from Bailie.

Tariq and mila's story will keep you turning the pages to find out what's going to happen next, the chemistry between them sizzles and the suspense keeps you guessing... a truly enjoyable read. I love seeing past characters ( especially my jack haha) which blends the story's together perfectly .

Mila and Tariq were a really good couple. Two people who were broken meet and sparks fly. I liked the romance, action and story. I liked the flow, I felt a part of this story.
This was my first by this author. At times I did feel like I was dropped into a story already in progress. It was still an enjoyable read. I liked Tariq and did wish Mila has been more mature about her issues. I will be looking for more by this author.
This is my first book by bailie and I Absolutely loved it!!
It started off slow and sexy just how I like, filled with love and lust, angst and suspense.
I love Tariq and mila, the chemistry was palpable.

Tariq and Mila's story had me captivated from the first page, both have demons from the past that may prove difficult to overcome, if mila could just remember.

This is the first book in the Agency series and I truly cannot wait to read more. This is a beautiful story that is easy to read and had me captivated from beginning to end. This is a fantastic read. I started this last night and as soon as I got a chance I sat in the sun today I finished it. This story sucked me in straight away.
Mila and Tariq are two brilliant characters. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot.
I got more than a romantic read than I was expecting. The storyline is brilliant with plenty plenty of hot scenes. I wasn’t expecting the jaw dropping twists and turns. I was mentally high fiving the author.
I’m really looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I have to say I am surprise I enjoy reading the book more than I thought. I am not so sure I've read Bailie's books before but I think I want to read more of her books from now on. The book is so intrigued with a mystery about Mila's past. The author did the excellent job by combine both Mila and Tariq's past together and their chemistry is so hot. The story is intense but has a few moments that I have to smile while reading it so yeah... I give it 5 stars. If you want to read a romance with a bit of mystery and action story, I recommend this one.
