They got together for their college reunion. After 10 years. The toppers came. The competitive ones came. The married ones came. The ex-lovers came. The back benchers came. Reyansh came too. Reyansh - ‘The Wolf’. Rey.
‘The Wolf’, who operates from the shadows and is the ultimate fixer. Rey, the guy who drove all the women in his batch crazy all those years ago. Miss Maya’s Rey. The swashbuckling kickboxing blackbelt S.P. of Gurgaon, Maya’s Rey.
It was like any other reunion. Until Nitya gets killed. Then Yutika. Then Deva. And then in every crime scene, Maya and her team find evidence pointing to Reyansh. Was the relationship with Maya just a means to deflect suspicion? Or are these murders being staged to frame ‘The Wolf’? Or did the reunion kindle old rivalries with Rey, while reigniting old flames?
In yet another thriller, that rapidly snakes thru a tale of passion, murder, love and friendship - bestselling e-author Suvika brings alive stories of men and women in new India.
Shocking! Addictive! A page turner! The skilfully scripted storyline with unforgettable characters and pulse-pounding suspense was enthralling. The pace and Narration was amazing from the very first page till the last one.
This was a fast read that kept me intrigued from the beginning to end, that shocker at the end was?!! Jdhdjdbsbdbks💀 My lips are sealed🤐
So this is how it starts, A reunion after 10years, everyone flew down from their respective places. Competitive ones, bossy ones, the married ones, ex-lovers, famous ones, heartthrob of the batch and even backbenchers. They are reminiscing about the old days and having fun with a little bit drama here and there but as soon as the reunion ends and everyone starts departing for their places, murder starts happening. Someone is killing the batchmates one by one and all the murder links to one person Reyansh Mittal or wolf as we say(The heartthrob of the batch).I don’t wanna say more, Bcoz I feel like I will spoil it , if I went on👀
The romance and mystery balance was on point. I absolutely loved SP Saab and Rey together🥹❤️ Also the Ride and Die friendship between Maya and Zafir was one of my favourite thing🫶🏻 The spice was spicing and I was literally pulling out my hair in frustration bcoz I wasn’t able to guess the murderer??😂
Also I couldn’t decide, with whom I was more obsessed with?? Maya or Rey bcoz damn they both are😩🦋😩
I wanted to keep it short and sweet but as usual,I can’t help with my ranting. Bottom line, If you enjoy Murder mysteries with romance in it , you MUST get your hands on this book. Now I am eagerly waiting for the 2nd book🧎🏻♀️
This book completely blew me away! From the very beginning, it was chilling, gripping and intense, with a plot so unpredictable that it kept me guessing the entire time. Every theory I came up with was proven wrong, and I never would have guessed the true culprit without the subtle clues dropped toward the end.
The way Maya’s character was portrayed was so authentic. There were also many moments that resonated deeply with me and I’m sure many others would feel that way as well. Rey also stood out as a character I couldn’t help but root for, and my heart ached for him and all the others impacted by the murders.
The combination of thriller and romance was flawlessly balanced, and the writing was so engaging and easy to dive into. This book has officially made me a fan of the author’s work and I’m now eagerly awaiting the release of the second book!
WOW, just... WOW! I feel so lucky to have gotten my hands on a copy of this book, and I must say, it was an incredibly captivating read from start to finish!
The chemistry between the main characters was undeniable, and the tension was palpable. The romantic moments were swoon-worthy and I found myself completely invested in their story. But just when I thought I knew what was happening, the plot twist hit me like a ton of bricks!!!
I was completely blown away by the surprise turn of events, my heart was racing with anticipation. I couldn't wait to see what happened next, and author Suvika's writing had me hooked from page one!
If you love suspenseful stories you HAVE to read '#REUNION'. Trust me, you won't regret it! Her writing is amazing, and I'm so excited to read the next book in the series!✨
I’m sitting here with my laptop trying to figure out what to write. This book has left me speechless. The plot, the twist (I still haven’t recovered from that one), the love (Reyansh and Maya are IT- I want what they have), Maya Bansal (literal girlboss, and an absolute role model)- it was PERFECTION.
I don’t know what it was about this book that drew me to it. Was it the fact that it’s a romantic suspense / thriller which happens to be a combination of two of my favorite genres? Was it because the FMC is a bold police officer, and I’ve always had a thing for MCs being in the law enforcement? Was it because the very idea of a chain of murders following a college reunion interested me? I don’t know.
But I do know that this book has officially made it to the list of books I am absolutely obsessed with (perhaps even to an unhealthy level, if I may say so myself) about and will not accept any criticism for. (I think it’s worth noting that this is only the second book to reach that level for me, the first being the Mindf*ck series by S.T. Abby).
Another nail-biting, toe-curling, mind boggling crime thriller romance from my most favorite Suvika. With this book, the author has outdone herself. What an experience it was. I am spellbound, speechless yet have so many things to say about her writing skills.
First of all, the story is a true crime thriller with a psycho Killer lurking in the shadows, roaming freely, killing friends who had attended a special Reunion. And the MP is connected to each and every murder that happens. He is a prime suspect yet you couldn't put a finger on him.
There are so many angles and back stories melded together that I can bet your mind would run on an overdrive, your imaginations wild, thinking about who is the killer. But you could never exactly point him/her out till the very end.
Talking about the main protagonist, Maya Bansal is a force of action. A rough and tough SSP who is hell bent on finding criminals and putting them behind the bars. Reyaansh Mittal, God what a guy he is. 🥵❤️ No wonder if the someone becomes a killer because of him.
There are side characters that will demand their own books. Especially the cops, who are on this high profile case, working like dogs with bones, hell bent on finding and grabbing the killer. The banters with the cops were so realistic , so raw, you will feel like watching them on the screen of your imagination.
I know I could not stop praising the author and this absolutely amazing crime thriller which will make a perfect Netflix/Amazon series. Believe me after reading this book y'all will like to see its screen adaptation. I am still buzzing with its aftereffects.
I could go on and on and on about this story and still couldn't wrap its fineness into mere words. ♥️♥️♥️
Suvika Mam, you are a master of your genre. I have so much to learn from you. An inspiration for aspiring writers. How you seamlessly blend crime, mystery and romance together is an exquisite work of art.
Please never take another long break from writing mam. A very humble request from your fan.
PS. The slow burn is on my level and steam is high in this one 🥵
Reunions are often about meeting old friends, reminiscing over cherished memories, and rekindling bonds that time may have faded. However, in this gripping thriller, the warmth of a 10-year reunion is quickly overshadowed by chilling events that will send shivers down your spine.
Reyansh Mittal, aka the Wolf, takes center stage. The author did an amazing job introducing each character and their connection with the Wolf. After the celebration, as the friends plan to go their separate ways, a brutal murder shatters the joy, turning the story dark.
And just like that, Maya Bansal steps in the fearless IPS officer with a resolve as strong as her heart. Her connection with Reyansh adds a depth of emotion to the story, making every interaction between them layered and compelling. With her colleagues by her side, Maya is determined to solve the case, even as the shadows deepen.
But just as readers anticipate a resolution, a second murder occurs, leaving everyone on edge. Strangely, Reyansh was the last person to see both victims alive, heightening the suspense with every chapter.
More incidents follow, keeping readers at the edge of their seats. Unfortunately, Reyansh remains the common link in all these cases. The story masterfully weaves tension and suspicion, maintaining an air of uncertainty. The relationship between Reyansh and Maya adds emotional depth, making it impossible to put the book down. Each character is meticulously developed, and the stakes grow higher with every passing moment.
As the investigation deepens, the question looms large: Is Reyansh truly capable of such cold-blooded acts? Or is someone determined to destroy him, framing him for crimes he didn’t commit? With no suspects, no murder weapon, no clear motive, and no witnesses, the investigation spirals into a complex puzzle. The tension is palpable as the narrative builds toward an explosive climax.
This story is not just a murder mystery; it’s a psychological rollercoaster that challenges perceptions and tests loyalties. Every chapter leaves you questioning what you thought you knew, making it a truly refreshing and exhilarating experience.
This book was so good and so captivating I was hooked with the book from starting only so this book is about a group of friends who met again after 10 years at a reunion, but there are many differences among them. They are not what they show now after the reunion has been finished, and they all have returned. The murders started happening. Firstly one then two then three and four all the clues and all the connections lead to one guy only that is Reyansh as you all know everything you see is not always correct, so my heart was not ready to believe that Reyansh is the killer and our FMC that is Maya, who is SP of DELHI police and Ashish very very very strong woman who bows in front of no one she and Reyansh are in a relationship and she is not ready to believe that Reyansh could kill anybody now the investigation starts and everything happens. Till the end of the book you cannot expect that person to be a killer. I mean, when I was reading the introduction of each and every characters I assumed someone to be a killer, but after some death, that person was also killed, at that moment I was so frustrated and I was like oh my God I want to know who is the killer but after 60 to 70% of the book, I somehow guessed the killer, but my mind was not processing the reason for why that person decided to do the murder now once the person is arrested and investigated, and when the person accepts and tells everybody, the reason I was shocked, I was like why I mean, this is not supposed to be, this is not ethical, this is not correct. Are you mentally okay So according to me, this book was 5/5 ⭐️ to be honest, you can guess the killer, I will say after 70% of the book, but you can never guess the reason for why that person decided to do the murders and once you read the answer of question why, you will be shocked. So for this, the book deserves 5⭐️ definitely, and of course this is not just a thriller crime based suspense novel. It has very beautifully written romance also between Maya and Reyansh. So for that I will also give 3/5 🌶️to this book because yes, I can
🔪 Reyansh Mittal is the best handler for any corporate crisis. He is smart ,witty and of soo sexy.
🔪 SP Maya Bansal has been recently transferred to Mumbai. She is an honest and hard-working officer.
🔪 Reyansh and Maya meet during a morning jog. There is an instant connection between the two.
🔪 Reyansh Mittal goes for the 10th college Reunion after which his batch mate ge killed.
🔪 The Prime suspect is Reyansh as he was the last person seen with the victim before they were killed.
Will SP Maya be able to keep her personal feelings aside and investigate the case ?
Is Reyansh the killer or is he being trapped by someone?
My first 5-star read of 2025, and it’s a must-read suspense thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Everything about this story is spot-on—the plot, the characterization, the dash of romance, and the brilliant suspense.
Reyansh's character as "The Wolf" is absolutely captivating. His charm, composure under pressure, and even his arrogance are swoon-worthy.
However, SP Maya Bansal truly steals the show. I love when strong female protagonists are written so beautifully. Her sharp instincts and tireless dedication were a delight to read.
The romance between the protagonists is wonderfully written. From their meet-cute to their journey as friends and eventual lovers, their chemistry is absolutely sizzling.
The plot is executed so well that you won’t want to put the book down. The fast-paced narrative keeps you engrossed, with the investigation and the anticipation of what comes next giving you goosebumps. And the climax? Completely unexpected and absolutely shocking!
Overall, this was a fantastic read, and I can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series. Highly recommended!
This was my first thriller book and what a mark it left on my heart. It just opened a whole new door for me. Absolute spellbound experience where my hands were hypnotized to flip those grippling pages.
When a boisterous occasion turns into a strenuous reunion, friendships are bound to be tested!! Faces are revealed, confessions are made, jealousy is in the air, and a cute love story is brimming in the corner.
Maya Bansal, a passionate and intelligent officer, crosses paths with Reyansh, a crisis handler, who happens to be a star of the show!!
The writing is so idiosyncratic and meticulous that you cannot stop yourself from taking the bait and making assumptions. It's fast-paced, and the characters are immaculately placed, bringing out the essential flavours.
Maya and Rey are luminary personalities who happen to be falling in love with each other. The amount of understanding and assertiveness they exercise in their relationships makes it a rhapsodizing experience.
Two strong-minded personalities, and yet they have an apt space for each other's opinions. I absolutely adore how they adjusted their schedule just to spend some peaceful moments together. I loved how the author has gracefully inculcated work-life balance and portrayed how EQ is as important as IQ.
To recapitulate, it is a capricious journey with the perfect blend of mystery and romance. If you love burning calories with a book in hand, this gem here is just for you.
🗡️
And a little gift 🎁for all of us: Book 2 is releasing in February, which means more time with our renowned SP Saab and Rey😍❤️!!
Thank you so much @elentiyapr and @suvikast for this beautiful experience🤎🍂.
This book right here is a murder mystery at its PRIME. I can't even began to put my experience into words!
This book keeps on the edge from the very start & till the very end. The way whole world building is done is descriptive that it literally felt like watching the movie play in front me! I had giggled, adored, got a little emotional but at the same as the book kept progressing I was guessing & making predictions throughout, like literally collecting evidence in my mind! 😩
This book has THE FREAKING PLOT!! By plot I definitely me our MMC, Reyansh Mittal aka Wolf 🐺 but the REAL plot, it's still running through my mind like it has taken over all the space up there. As the book develops further it just keeps getting better and better. And don't even get me started about the epilogue scene, it has left me hanging with so many more questions and the curiosity just never seems to end with this book & series overall and that also makes me very happy cause we are getting book 2 really soon! 🚀
And at the moment, IT'S ALL I NEED !!!! Can't freaking wait for it!!! 🤌🏻
Thank you so so much Suvika for writing this mind bogling book, I cant wait to get my hands on the next book!! Thank you Elentiya PR for the book and specially the PR box and definitely so grateful for always bringing one of the most interesting book to us!! ❤️
Startling! Compulsive! A page-turner! ✨Book review ✨
It was captivating due to its well-structured plot, memorable characters, and heart-pounding tension. From the opening to the last page, the narration and pace were superb. I read this quickly and was captivated from start to finish.
Thus, this is the beginning. Everyone flew down from their separate locations for a reunion after ten years. competitors, bosses, married people, former lovers, celebrities, the batch's heartthrob, and even backbenchers. They are enjoying themselves and reminiscing about the past while occasionally introducing some drama, but as soon as the reunion is over and everyone leaves for their own locations, murder begins to occur. One by one, the batchmates are being murdered, and all of the murders are connected to Reyansh Mittal, also known as the "wolf" or the batch's heartthrob. I don't want to elaborate because I think doing so will ruin it.
The harmony of mystery and romance was perfect. The hide and seek bond between Maya and Zafir was another one of my favourite things. I adored SP Saab and Rey together (✨The popular characters ✨).
Since I couldn't figure out who killed the person, I emerged so much in finding that out , that I didn't know when I reached the plot👁️👁️
Psychological Analysis of this book will be uploaded soon 🧠👣 Stay tune!!
I stepped into the world of murder mystery with #Reunion, and boy, was I hooked! I gobbled up the book in one day - no sleep, no food, just me and the twists.
The dynamic duo, Rey (aka The Wolf) and Maya (SP Saab), are the ultimate dynamic duo..Both strong, smart, and sassy, they made an unbeatable team.
Rey, the country's top handler, finds himself in a sticky situation - framed for murder! Now, he's his own client (talk about a tough case!).I won't spill the beans (you'll just have to read it yourself!), but the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat. The college reunion setup? Pure genius! Who wouldn't want to attend a reunion, only to find themselves in a murder investigation?
Maya, the strong and feisty female lead, was an absolute delight. She's the perfect partner in crime-solving (and maybe even crime-committing?) for Rey. Her friendship with Zafar added a fun dynamic, and their team's banter balanced the book's darker moments.
If you're a fan of suspense thrillers, murder mysteries, and unpredictable plot twists, #Reunion is the book for you! I'm eagerly awaiting the next installment, #Scion - bring it on, Rey and Maya!
What a fantastic read it was 🤩 the story kept hold of me till the end ✨ I was making up theories and eating up every single detail to solve the mystery 😜 I had an amazing time reading this book. I was so invested and hooked to the plot and never once felt the story was lagging or slow. The pace of the story was good and too many characters didn't overwhelm me TBH 🙂 The plot twists and suspense kept me engaged to the book 📖 . Apart from the suspense and thrill it was delivered, I loved the romance element to it 😍 Their bond and connection were awe-inspiring. Their trust, honesty and loyalty were top notch ❤️ the way he care for her and supports her is amazing 🤌🏼🤌🏼 each and everything in the book were note worthy. . And the last twist, the last reveal 🤯🤯🤯 it will make you question every relationship 😨 it was something beyond what we expect and something completely twisted and appalling 🫨 it was my wildest guess and my jaw dropped when I read it 😲 . If you love serial killer suspense thrillers with a light hearted soft romance with little spice then it's a must read 🙌🏼 very highly recommend this book 📖🙌🏼🙌🏼
A college reunion turns deadly as attendees are mysteriously murdered, all clues pointing to Reyansh, the enigmatic ‘Wolf’ of his batch. The FMC , Maya ( SP sahab) leads the investigation, torn between her growing feelings for Reyansh and the suspicion surrounding him. Is he being framed, or is there a darker truth to his past?
Reyansh completely stole my heart! Every clue pointed to him as the murderer, yet I couldn’t bring myself to believe it, perhaps because I was undeniably biased in his favor. His enigmatic presence kept me captivated throughout.
Maya, on the other hand, was an exceptional female lead. Strong, O Intelligent, and Relentless in her pursuit of the truth. I admired how her sharp mind unraveled the mystery piece by piece. While the plot was somewhat predictable, and I anticipated certain twists, the overall execution kept me engaged.
What truly stood out was Reyansh and Maya’s dynamic, the tension, the intrigue, and the undeniable chemistry between them made the story all the more compelling. Despite its predictability, #Reunion was an enjoyable read, and I thoroughly appreciated the journey.
Ahh this is my another 5 star read of this month!😭 I couldn’t stop giving this book five star (it deserves more than 5 stars tho)😛👏🏻
Talking about the book, the book is completely written so well!😭 I mean the suspense, thriller, love segments, dialogues each and everything about it was so perfect!🙌🏻🫂 Well, I’ve completed this book in just two days!🤭 being a big fan of suspense, thrillers and crime this book comes in 1st place for me🫠✨
This book has kept me busy in reading till the end! The plot of this book, is just blew my mind away! It was interesting, intense that kept me reading and thinking what is gonna happen next!🫠🗿
Also I loveeeee Maya’s character and Reyansh character alottttt😭I mean my heart wants them to see in real life too🥲🤌🏻 I had giggled during their first meet, adored and love them!♥️🥹🧿 talking about the other characters too, I absolutely liked them!👏🏻🫂
Also the second part is releasing soon!🤭 *happy & excited me*😭🗿♥️
I strongly recommend you to read this one! You will definitely fall in love with this book! I promise🤭😭
cliche love stories, forever friendships, deep rivalries, and healthy competition have been a major part of our lives, at some point. they form into beautiful memories, and they are cherished, but what happens when those memories are replaced by nightmares, and the reunion is turned into a blood bath. scary right, read this book, and you will feel goosebumps at every turn of the page. Suvika's book are very intriguing and perfectly enjoyable. her character descriptions are to die for. No, you will not see a handsome hunk, the hero is not loved for his looks but for some other x factor. this was very engaging too.. my brain was at work, so much that I started suspecting every character I came across while reading. I was a detective too. if anyone can bring romance amidst the chaos it's Suvika.
This book was absolutely unputdownable! The writing is simple, but it grips you right from the start and refuses to let go. There wasn’t a single dull moment, the tension kept escalating, and the fast pace had me hooked till the very last page. I found myself playing detective, trying to piece together clues and guess the killer. While I had a hunch toward the end, the final reveal still managed to take me by surprise!
The character development was on point especially the way each one connected with Wolf. Maya stood out as a fierce and determined lead, and I admired her strength. And Rey…He completely stole my heart utterly irresistible and layered.
Writing a whodunit thriller is no easy feat, but the author has done a fabulous job pulling it off with style. Her storytelling is sharp, engaging, and full of heart. I have so much admiration for her craft and am officially a fan!
Well, I have mixed feelings for this one. I have read all of her books till now and I would say that this one was on okay read for me unlike her other exceptional books.
I liked the main characters but somehow I feel that in a mystery it's not just important to have suspense and mystery of the killer but also to like the mystery. But, personally I didn't like it, it was a little far fetched for my taste, it would have been better if the killer was someone else with a better logic behind the killings.
Also, the book ended quite abruptly on the romance part. I would have like it better if there is a clarity on the future of the couple. Overall, it was an okay read for me not as good as her previous books.
This book was freaking amazing—I couldn’t put it down! The writing was simple but so gripping. There was never a dull or slow moment; the tension kept building nonstop. The fast pace had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I even started playing detective myself, trying to guess the killer. I had a hunch near the end, but the reveal still shocked me! I loved how the author developed the characters and their relationships with Wolf. Maya is such a strong, determined character, and I really appreciate that. Rey (Wolf) completely stole my heart—he’s perfect in every way. Writing a whodunit thriller is tough, and I have a lot of admiration for the author. I’m definitely a fan of her writing now!
A reunion like never before. This book had everything - thrill, romance, jealousy, murder and the right amount of spice. Reyansh Mittal aka Wolf is the best handler of the country, making him a target of hatred by many and being a very handsome man, an eye candy for all the women around him. He goes in his 10 years college reunion and suddenly this becomes the biggest mistake of his life. Whoever he encounters among his friends is found dead, him being their last contact. The book will keep you entangled within its pages till the very end. Can't wait to read the sequel.
Maya is such a fierce and independent woman, yet she has that vulnerable side to her, which makes her more relatable. Rey is such a breath of fresh air with his charming personality. Their chemistry is remarkable from the start.
Coming to the plot, it’s so unpredictable and engaging throughout. Every time I came up with a suspect, I was proven wrong. In the end, it had me questioning everyone, and I still couldn’t guess the suspect. 😂 The ending took me by surprise.
If you are looking for a fast-paced, engaging thriller with romance, suspense, and twists, then this is a must-read.
Wow....kudos Suvika...my wait for your new book... finally paid off...what a story...gripping and entertaining...with so many characters...it was absolutely wonderful...it was long I read something so intense...
Story line, the way the book flows and the characters described are spectacular!! Though I loved the suspense of each page, Could have been better if the villain is someone else...
Women were multitaskers, out of nature and necessity. They didn’t waste time overthinking an issue or bullshitting around the topic for the simple reason that they didn’t have the time.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 Spice: 🔥🔥
Tropes: Murder mystery Romantic thriller Suspense
I would have never guessed that ending. OMG! This book was hands down one of the best I’ve read this year. I loved how the author has balanced everything in this book. From the romance to the murder mystery, suspense & the investigation everything was so on point.
Once I crossed the 30 page mark, I couldn’t stop reading.
I loved the romance in this book. Maya is such an amazing character and Reyansh, so cute. I loved their banter it was so fun to read and I’m for sure rooting for their happy ending. I loved his nickname for Maya😭⭐️ SP SAAB. I swear I smiled every single time he called her that.
The murder mystery blew me away. This book is so well written that I felt like I was watching a movie. I could clearly visualise everything in my head.
I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a perfect balance between a romance & a thriller.
Absolutely loved this book ❤️ This was probably one of best the romantic thriller I have ever read. In most romantic thrillers, either the book is mostly based on the thriller aspect or the romance aspect of it but this book had the perfect blend of romance and thriller. I loved the chemistry of Maya and Rey it was so good. Also the plot twist at the end it was so twisted. This book is so underrated it deserves so much more hype. If you love reading romanctic thriller books then this book is perfect for you.
I just can't wrap my find from this. I just can't find words to write so this was my first Thriller book. I haven't read thriller before so for me it was like I was always on the edge i just can't explain how I feel right now.
Let's start with the book blurb so the story is about Reunion of friends Reyansh aka Wolf also joined the reunion who is also known to be the best handler and operates from the shadow. All girls were mad about him. Maya who was S.P. of Gurgaon black belt, kickboxing champion. It was like any other reunion until Nitya gets killed, then Yutika then Deva and in every crime scene evidence points towards Reyansh. Now the main question arises
Review The whole novel will keep you edge, right from the beginning till the end. There are so many plot twist that you won't even be able to understand. Even though the book was all about the solving the case but what I loved the fact that the way Rey and Maya were as a couple. I mean I fall in love with Reyansh the way he used to care for her and couldn't live without her even for a day, the way he understands her the fact that she is a cop so she has to be like one even though he wanted her to be open to him.
One point what I liked about the author's writing was even though the book most important aspect is thriller but she didn't sidelined the couple. There are some instances where to focus on the plot characters are lost or they feel like forced but this didn't happened in this book for me especially when I look for romance genre in every book🤭🫣.
There some scenes where my heart literally melted, like how can it be like this 😩. For me this book was really a great book. It had everything from thriller to romance to suspense to mystery everything a reader looks for in the book.
I would really suggest you all to read this book now as well as the second part of the book has also been released. This book is a must try.
This book kept me hooked until the last page. I guessed the culprit at around 60% of the book, but until then, I had a frustrating time trying to figure out that one name. The person I suspected ended up being murdered on the next page, and it was so frustrating.
I loved Rey and Maya’s characters. Their love, understanding, connection, and romance were so well done. I never knew I needed this kind of romance in a thriller until I read this book.
The story was fast-paced and full of twists and turns. If you love reading murder mysteries, this book is for you.
Reunions are always special as it allows you to meet your long-lost friends, enemies, ex-love interests, and the whole batch.
A batch is meeting after 10 years at the reunion, everyone flew down from their respective places to attend it. The toppers, the competitive ones, the married ones, backbenchers, ex-lovers, and Rey - the Wolf. A charmer of the batch who has made their heart beat faster for many reasons.
The reunion was so much fun remembering their old times, their pranks, and classes but there were still a few sparks that existed in the heart of people who hate him for other reasons and the ex-lovers who still love him.
Suddenly the batchmates started getting killed in uncertain situations and ways. And the coincidence was that every single person was seen the last time with Ray before they were killed. All the needles are pointing at Ray and he is the prime suspect.
Maya the SP is trying hard with her team to detangle the case so that more murders can be avoided but it's not easy, the real culprit is damn clever to accomplish his task without getting caught.
Suvika has always made it clear that her writing will take your heart. She will leave you speeches with the tactics she has used to make this story more interesting and challenging. Till the last, you will not be able to guess the real culprit and once it's out there you will scratch your head to absorb the shock you received. It has dhamaka, surprises, challenges, twists, love, obsession, and enthusiasm to keep you on the edge throughout. It also has multiple social issues addressed in a very mature way which will give you a keen and sharp experience of understanding them.
A mystery thriller that can not be missed reading.
