I have to say that this is another excellent book in this series. Felix is really in trouble and it just keeps getting worse. Norton follows along to help his...friend? Both men are exhausted and find themselves on the run from the police and the bounty hunters trying to bring them to the really, really bad guys. Want to get bitten by a vampire? Norton didn't, but did, and almost died a very painful death. An evil presence stalks Norton's dreams, his faith in Felix's trustworthy is on shaky ground, the cops are after the two, two evil magicians are trying to get the first ring from Felix and Felix is being frames for murder. There is no HEA for these guys as they fight their way out of trouble just enough to survive. New and old friends help out and their lives get tougher by the minute. An excellent story and series and would highly recommend it to read.

This is a well written book with a cast of strong colorful characters and an intriguing story line. The author brings an entertaining story filled with danger and suspense and mystery. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

There is something about this writting that just pulls you into the story. All Jack's books have that  "certain something" that keeps you entertained and coming back for more. I definately think you should read in series order to full enjoy those wacky characters.
