THE ENGAGEMENT GIFT
Holy. Fucking. Hotness!!!! I have read every scene Lauren has ever published and this has one of the hottest scenes. Ever. Like ever. I knew it was going to be steamy and filthy with it involving a Nichols man. But damn. Two hours later and I am still daydreaming of it.
Finn and Lily have a very active sex life. Role-playing and all. Finn is a giver and he wants to give Lily her ultimate fantasy. He just wants her to ask for it. And when she does? It is on!!!
Holy fuck. Is it on. With Jake. The best man. I wi give you some advice right here. Read this before bed with a BOB or partner next to you primed and ready. I made the mistake of reading it before a long ass car ride. I had to take a quick shower before I left to cool off. READ IT AT NIGHT!!! I might just have to read it again with my hubby ready to go.

I can’t wait for the next book!! Jake and Kate...oh, it’s going to be epic.

The Decadent Gift is the third book in Lauren Blakely’s hot AF, The Gift series. You can read each book as complete standalone but I highly recommend reading the whole series since it’s that amazing. I have been waiting for Jake and Kate’s story since The Engagement Gift and it’s so worth the wait.
Jake needed a work-free weekend. Kate needed to do hand-ons research. One weekend with no-strings attached. Nothing more. It’s been months in the making. Months of flirty texts. Months of lingering glances. Months of full on sexual tension when together in the same room. Everyone around them sees it. And now it was time to explore their desires.
It was all about playing a role. What they are not role-playing is their attraction for each other. The Engagement Gift
This was a cute and steamy short story about a woman owning her fantasies and what one will do for true love. While all of Lauren Blakely's book include steamy scenes, this one, featuring Lily Whiting and Finn Nichols, was more erotic than most. The story is centered around Lily's fantasy of being taken by two men and Finn's determination to make this happen for her (with the help of his best friend, Jake).
The Virgin Gift
Similar to the first book in The Gift series, The Engagement Gift, this book was more erotic than Lauren Blakely's typical books. Still, it was a sweet, steamy story I loved reading. I would really love to hear Brandon's story, but it seems like that probably won't happen considering his meeting Serena in this book, a brief glimpse at their romance, and her statement that they were going to elope. I would still love to hear it though.

A great ending to what is currently The Gift Trilogy (two more books, The Extravagant Gift and The Exquisite Gift are forthcoming which may or may not feature Ivy and Sage Carmichael). I really loved how it was a group of three guy friends and three girl friends (who were also friends with each other) that ended up together. Overall, I loved Kate and Jake's story. They've been strong characters in The Engagement Gift and The Virgin Gift and I was excited to hear their story. Lauren Blakely didn't disappoint! (She never does.) I can't wait to read the next books in this series!

I have been on a Lauren Blakely reading frenzy! I loved the "Always Satisfied" series & every book connected to that. This After Dark collection is exactly as it says-AFTER DARK! Holy moly this collection is S-P-I-C-Y!!!!! Good read but strong sexual characters!-too overwhelming for me!

Love love love Lauren! This ones a quick dirty steamy read. It is absolutely a decadent escape. You truly cannot go wrong with any of Lauren Blakely’s books. Hunker down with some wine and this story for the night and you will not be disappointed!!!
