I was approved for this book on NetGalley and finished it on the same day. I LOVED this nonfiction book!⁣

As a full time working mom with a high stress job, my self care and needs have really taken the back burner so HELLO burnout. Just reading this book made me feel better! I highlighted section after section because it was all truly helpful. It comes with an array of ideas to help you get out of surviving and back into thriving, wherever your burnout is happening. The ideas are practical and straightforward. I’m going to be implementing many of these ideas going forward because I truly love what I do and don’t want to feel negative about my work space. This is a book I will be going back to time and time again! I highly recommend if you are feeling bogged down in your work or home life. Even if you are struggling with self care or stress, and not necessarily full burnout, this book would be a useful tool for you. 5⭐️⁣

Thank you to the publisher for advance copy in exchange for my honest review!

If you feel burnout and don't know what to do about it, try this book. I believe ones of those 200 ways introduced within this book will help you.

Like most 'self help' books, some of this was more relevant than other bits, but it was interesting to see some ideas on how to combat stress and remember what is actually important

Just kind of feels like a shallow list of little mood boosters more than targeted specifically for burnout.

This was such an inspiring book! Very uplifting. The author is so positive and makes me wish she was my best friend. I now feel very motivated to get myself organized and balanced out in life as far as my work and home life. It is so easy to experience burnout this day in time. Not only at work but outside of work. We need a healthy balance of work, play, mental health, physical health and our relationships. And don’t forget some “me” time. We are bad to get less sleep. This is one thing I’ve done a lot better with and it has made a big difference. I hardly ever get sick anymore. I think everyone could take something from this book. It will be a great book to go back to every time I need a pick me up, whether I’m feeling down or overwhelmed with life and work or just to stay inspired.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher. And thank you author for writing this. You are truly a blessing.

This is a book is essentially a list of ways you can attempt to resent your burned out self. It’s not an intellectual or philosophical read, but actionable. I did not find it as helpful, but see how is could be. Would probably be more useful as physical book as opposed to an ebook for making preferred exercises, etc.

Free ARC from publisher via Netgalley; opinions are solely mine.

Not bad, I dont really think these are necessarily good tips for beating burn out though, more a list of feel good activities.

It gives some small general stuff that you can do right now to boost your mood and help combat burnout but it is quite repetitive like it tells you that talking a walk outside and being mindful of your surroundings can help with your stress but this is repeated in the book in several chapters but just paraphrased. This could just be to remind you but reading the book for hours you will come across multiple repeat advises. I feel that there has to be a better book to help people with issues with their interests than a book suggesting you to dance to help with your physical fitness or as a general break from whatever you are doing.

I think the book serves as a handy guide where you can randomly flip to a page and follow the activity stated to help destress. But it may not be super engaging to read through all the pages in one seating because many of the activities are repeated (E.G different breathing techniques). Many simple activities are also guided so it really teaches you to put in a bit more attention to our daily tasks and develop our appreciation for them. Good book to own in your shelf if you are very prone to stress I guess.

I got this book as a gift from someone that I treasure very much.

Nonetheless, the most amazing thing about this book is the author’s unbelievable ability to find 200 ways to say the same thing.

What a book! Meditate, take to your friends, exercise, pamper yourself. Thats it. That’s the whole book. You don’t have to read it if you read that sentence.

Great book if you're looking for LOOOTS of ideas on how to relax, get out of your head and basically get in touch with your inner self. I wish I had this in print so I could highlight and underline and mark. But it was still a great read and packed with tips.

Very repetitive, with general advice and tips that’s really don’t have anything to do with burnout.

This book was very repetitive, the same suggestions were listed on several occasions throughout the book. Would not suggest.

This title feels less like a traditional book and more like a handy, mini guide that's perfect for quick inspiration. Packed with brief yet effective suggestions, it's great for anyone looking for a quick boost or a new idea to try out on the fly. The content is pleasantly surprising, offering some genuinely good thoughts for those moments when you need a little push to get back on track.

I really enjoyed this book and want to give thanks to the published for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I started a new job last year and 6 months into the job, I realized I was getting burnt out quickly. The first thing I did was remove my work email from my phone and that was life changing. This book is helpful with this!

It comes with so many different ideas on how to not burn out and thrive with what you want to do. This book is an easy read and in a great format for you to find what you need! It helps you with self-care when you don't know what to do next!
