i finished this book in the early hours. It was about the town still having problems but the bears and the wolves are together. Sean and Pamela will help them find out what is going on in their town. Ryder and Pamela fell in love. It certainly left you hanging and yes I will be going on to the next book in the series. I certainly enjoyed reading it.

The love in your eyes.
Ryder & Pamela > he saw her at his aunts hotel and she walked into his bar and their eyes meet. She was there to do a job and it was her first big job, but then she saw him with his golden eyes and the pull she feels for him. These characters will take you through twist and turns throughout their story until the very end.

This series has mystery, suspense and love and it's hard to put my Kindle down.
Ryder and Pamela a great fated mates team! She will be a great help in determining what is going on and with Ryder will have protection and knowledge to help her. I can't wait to see what's next.

Great book thoroughly enjoyed reading it
What a great 2nd book to the series Pamela is hired to go to bridge hollow to get samples and try find out causes to the dead animals and the dying woods. Ryder a bear shifter is put in charge of seeing Pam up the mountain to take her samples but once there Ryder puts his hand on her chest and leaves but
saying she is safe now. The bear shifters don’t trust the 2 newcomers and them poking around their business but Ryder explains Pam is to be trusted. Ryder has imprinted onto Pam she is his mate and Pam also feels it from the moment they met but strange forces are working around bridge hollow with the missing people and dying animals. Sean had disappeared but is now back and explains what and who employed them to the shifters and they are against a strong force and they need to work together in the future Pam knows this is going to be dangerous but she has found her place and will do everything she can to help.

I enjoyed reading this splendid bear shifter romance & found the characters to be quite well-developed & interesting. The secondary characters offer good support. The story-line is well-paced & written with intriguing plot, which keeps the reader's attention.
There is: a environmental scientist (Pamela), a secretive man (Sean), a bear shifter (Ryder), bear shifter, wolf shifters, inter-pack feuds, humans, scientists, rangers, a abandoned mine, drama, intrigue, suspense, danger, threats, deceit, secrets, magic, mates, mystery, strange occurrences, environmental issues, anxiety, manipulations, insecurities, investigations, strange attractions, warnings, distrust, admittance, misjudgment, concern, love, contentment & a satisfying happy ending. There is also a tantalizing glimpse of “Her Keeper Bear”
I look forward to the next book in this series with great anticipation.

Forbidden Alpha Bear is book two in the series Bridge Hallow Shifters by author Samantha Leal. Intriguingly dark and absolutely delicious. The characters are intensely driven in this one. Something is altering emotions of the people of Bridge Hallow. Everyone is on edge- not a good thing for shifters.
It’s like- “Something wicked comes this way.”
Bright spot Fate is helping matches are being made and foes are ...... I’ll let you figure that out for yourselves.

I got a good chuckle at Sean's expense when he was impatient to check it at the hotel. Lol. I was a little disappointed that more secrets weren't divulged in the second book. It felt anticlimactic for me. More secrets and discoveries await. At least we know who the good guys are now!! On to book 3 and what secrets the mine holds!

Hate only one pov
This story really has some good ideas, but I absolutely abhor a book that only has one POV. When I’m reading a book I want to know what each of the main characters are thinking, and with this book and the others by this author you only “see” one side of the story. This author is now off my list of reads.

Getting Better
Okay, I wasn’t that happy with Book 1 but Book 2 is drawing me into the mystery of whatever the heck is going on. I also liked Pamela a lot more than I did Amanda in the first book. And more shifters are being introduced which also suits my weird PNR fixation. I’m beginning to think this is a series of slow build ups so I’m cool with that.

Good Read
It is a well written story. I liked them as a couple. The chemistry is real and the connection is immediate between them. The story is really on the strange events in the community and it takes more of the focus of the story.
