Charlie is back with book number 2.5 in his Doris trilogy, and boy, is this a good one. He’d been thinking about just including it as a bonus with the third book, but I definitely think it stands alone as a decent little novella in its own right.

Here, Doris, ‘Arold and grandson Theo are all on a cruise ship and gearing up to enter a dance competition. It’s written with Charlie’s inimitable brand of northern British humour, and I was even weirdly pleased to see Doris and ‘Arold settle down in the

Doris Ahoy!
I was pleased to return to the world or Our Doris, after reading the first addition I always grin before I have even started wondering what Doris will get up too this time....
Doris Ahoy didn't disappoint, although a shorter story than its predecessors it was a perfect length and ended perfectly too.
I was surprised to find myself enjoying a smaller characters development throughout the story that was the impactful Mrs Veronica Ambrose! I love what she represents and the struggle she is

This is the third in the Doris series and I absolutely loved it. Set aboard a cruise ship Doris and Harold have another adventure and Doris has another adversary all of which is put together so well. Another one of my favourite characters Theo who is their grandson is also a part of this which I absolutely love. Definitely a more emotional book yet it still has the northern humour which gives it light. I really needed this book and can’t wait for the final book in the series. If
