I really enjoyed this book and like how each chapters was a different characters' POV. I loved all the characters, with the exception of Lisa's mother, who totally irked and appalled me, as I know people like her. The author excels at character development and created a believable, cringe-worthy character.

This was a quick read that held my heart captive. The love that flows through this whole series is so sweet and pure. This novella was filled with surprises and more love that you would think possible.

To say Tess couldn’t get any better, is literally the understatement of a lifetime! This novella will put you in all the feelings as all weddings do but this is so much more than just about a wedding. We are able to get more background on some of our favorite people in cliffside bay and it’s amazing! Tess always outdoes herself with every book and i don’t think she will ever stop being amazing at being an author!

There’s nothing like a Christmas story in July, especially when there’s a wedding involved. Tess Thompson does a masterful job of adding little twists that are so unexpected while adding depth and wonderful dynamics to the characters and the story itself.
Another fantastic story by the wonderfully talented Tess Thompson. If you haven’t read any of Tess’ books I highly recommend you add her books to your TBR!

I am steadily working my way through Tess's Cliffside Bay series and this was a little novella to slip into the stream of love stories.
We finally get to see the wedding of Raphael and Lisa, but not without a few dramas along the way.

Christmas Wedding is a short and sweet addition to the Cliffside Bay series, this book was so beautifully written. During this time I am looking for short reads that are uplifting and this one certainly fit the bill. I would definitely recommend this read to others.
This is actually #7.5 and should be read after Healed: Stone and Pepper.

I usually enjoy reading Christmas stories during the correct season, however I have been waiting for this one and was delighted to read it in July! Tess Thompson is one of my favorite authors and her Cliffside Bay series is absolutely wonderful!

An awesome novella set after Book 7 in Tess Thompson's Cliffside Bay series, the blurb says it fits after book 6 but there are elements from book 7 that won't make sense to the reader if they haven't read book 7 yet.
A fast read - being a novella in an established series means lots of the background information is already known ie characters and their stories.

First, you need to read Healed: Stone and Pepper before reading this book. It sets the stage for everything that happens. Second, the story of Lisa and Rafael's wedding is mesmerizing. Tess Thompson cleverly intertwines the stories of Lisa's parents with that of Rafael's mother and the effect each story has on the wedding. The bombshell delivered by her parents took me by surprise. I knew once I started this book, that I wasn't going to sleep until I finished the book. What a great read with some surprises that made me happy and sad at the same time. Any book that can make me feel sorry for someone that I really don't like, is a good book.

Two Things To Love!
There are two things I loved about this short book:
We get to catch up with some of our favorite Cliffside Bay characters and read about Rafael and Lisa’s wedding (with a little family drama thrown in for good measure).
And, two, we see the beginning of a love story between two characters in their fifties! I hope the author does a spin-off featuring some of her older characters. Us older folks can fall in love, too! I was 57 when I found my happily ever after!

I was thrilled to discover that shortly after reading author Tess Thompson's latest book released a special edition Christmas "in July" book was released as well. Received an ARC copy of this from the author. The characters from Cliffside Bay are involved in watching Lisa and Rafael tie the knot. Friends Stone and pepper have worked so hard to plan the perfect Colorado Snow wedding for Lisa and Rafael. As their friends and family head to The Lodge and the Lake House The couple is anxious to tie the knot. Meanwhile we see a new side of Mama Soto, and Lisa feels she never meets her mother’s expectations.
It’s Christmas, and there’s a wedding to plan! Rafael and Lisa are planning the perfect wedding in Emerson Pass, Colorado. Perfect, yes, but of course there are hiccups! Mama Soto is ridding the family of the marriage curse! Lisa’s mama is interfering again! It’s snowing! Will the perfect wedding ever happen? Pepper is certain it will, and she is quite the planner! I highly recommend this wonderful novella! What could be better than reading about a Christmas wedding in July!
While this story is focused on the wedding of Lisa and Rafael love abounds in this tiny Colorado mountain town of Emerson Pass. Is there magic at the Lake House? Who’ll be next to fall in love? Stay tuned for the next Cliffside Bay book. If you haven’t read any of the previous Cliffside Bay books I highly recommend beginning with Traded: Brody and Kara. Next best would be to start with Missed: Rafael and Lisa.
Lisa and Rafael's wedding story will definitely get you in the feels. Not only are they adorably and deeply in love but Mama Soto's story will grab you too. She's so funny with her marriage curse cures but when the story starts from her POV... I literally put hand to chest from the happy anticipation. This is not a stand alone. You definitely need to read Missed: Lisa and Rafael 1st (at least but, I would start from the beginning with Traded: Brody and Kara). Highly recommend the whole series!
