Forever Summer by Nicole Bea is a short read packed full with sweetness. The writing is eloquent and full of memorable and clever lines that left me grinning or misty-eyed. I really have no complaints about this book. Morrigan's past with her abusive ex-boyfriend is handled gracefully and her character arc is realistic. I quickly found myself relating to Morrigan and rooting for her and Levy. The ending is perfect, though bitt ...more

A wholesome YA novel about finding true first love and getting over trauma. The book was a little slow for me in places, but I suspect I'm a little older than the target audience. Any teenager looking for a clean love story with a horse rescue subplot will find everything they're looking for here.

I really enjoyed this book. It was just what i was looking for to get me back into reading. Once I started reading it was hard to put it down. Mo's journey was very relatable and Levy was the kind of character that many people could use in their life.

I absolutely loved this book from beginning to end. I kept finding myself wanting more. The story starts off with Morrigan Westhaver leaving her home in Michigan to go to her father's Alabama ranch for the summer. While there she falls in love with the ranch and a boy named Levy. This is hers and Levy's love story. I thought it was beautifully written and I was extremely satisfied with the ending. This is a beautiful love story that I will recommend to each and every person that loves a good rom

I wish this book would have been out when I was a teen!!! I couldn't put this one down and read it cover to cover in one sitting. A handsome well built cowboy, rescue horses, and a budding summer romance, it had all my favourite qualifications for a great late-teen love story. Then, Nicole took this book beyond being just a well-written mature-teen romance and hit some serious topics as well, including abusive, and toxic relationships, healing, and recovery, self-discovery, acceptance, and growt

Grab your cowboy boots and hat because this is one hot summer romance! Forever Summer, categorized as a new adult western romance, follows teenager Morrigan (Mo) as she’s sent to live at her father’s horse farm in Alabama for the summer after a traumatic incident. Emotionally raw and hesitant to let others in, Mo isn’t prepared for farm life - or for the handsome farmhand, Levy Rider.

I received a copy from the author. This is my review:
Forever Summer is a lighthearted read that filled my heart with hope for the future and love for its characters. If you're familiar with Nicholas Sparks or Morgan Matson, this book might be just up your alley.
I laughed, cried and felt joy and cared for the characters as if they were my friends. What I loved about Morrigan was that she didn't let her dark past win. Instead, in her own way, she fought against her clouded judgment, she let herse ...more

I enjoyed this book because I feel like the author did a wonderful job telling Mo’s story of abuse and recovery. The power of healing while bonding with a horse feels honest. Levy’s patience with her while she tries to retrain her mindset sets the right tone, except for not giving her his truth upfront. She might have been able to open up to him easier if he had started with that.
